A few days after her and Klynn had parted ways, Tracey had used her ability to turn her hair blonde, since she didn't like her dark hair colors always turning yellow. But, now, today, Tracey had come back to the courtyard, but with a friend, her cat, Tiger. But, while she had reached the Courtyard, Tiger had ran towards a tree and Tracey was about to run after him, but bumped into someone, again. Luckily, the person grabbes her hand, making sure she wouldn't fall. She looked at the person and saw Klynn. She let go of his hand and said,
"Hello again! I was just chasing after my cat, so I didn't see you. Ah, no I didn't, I'm a Metamorphmagus, and I got tired of my hair color turning yellow, so I changed it to blonde."
Tracey wasn't sure how Klynn would react, but the good thing is, she had stopped stuttering. Probably because she's interacted with a lot of people. Tracey looked over at Tiger and saw the little cat walking over to the two of them.
"This is Tiger. I didn't bring him with me last time, but you get to meet him now," Tracey says.
She now just hoped that Klynn isn't allergic to cats, since it'll be a big problem if he is.

A cat? Aww, he's kind of cute... I hope it's not like my Aunt's cat... stupid claws. "Well, it's very nice to meet you, Tiger."

Wait, she's a metamorphmagus? Now, that is cool. I guess there is more to this girl than meets the eye, both figuratively and literally. I wonder what else she can turn into... could she look like myself... could she look like the headteacher and give me a passing grade in every subject? The possibilities are endless. Hold up...

Now that I look closer, I think blonde might suit her more than her last hair colour... that came out of nowhere. That was strange... moving on...

"So, what have you been up to the last few days? I noticed you aren't stuttering around me anymore, so now I don't have to worry that people think I'm threatening you. That's happened too many times"

Now, that I take a closer look, she does look cute with the cat in her arms, like she's hugging a plushie... Again, out of nowhere. What is wrong with me today? Did I damage my brain when I fell out of bed this morning? I don't usually think these things...

Both Tracey and Tiger weren't sure if Klynn likes the little kitten, but after Tracey had set him down, Tiger decided to risk it and slowly went over to the boy that was talking with his owner. Tracey just watched what Tiger was doing.
"Meow (Nice to meet you too)," Tiger says to Klynn.
"Don't worry. He doesn't bite, he's a very friendly cat. Also, he's never scratched someone, so you should be fine. Tiger is pretty much like my good luck charm," Tracey says smiling at both Klynn and Tiger.
Tracey noticed that Klynn didn't say anything about her ability, which is a good thing, but she also has no idea if he's thinking the wrong thing about what she can do for now, so she decided to tell him a little about her ability and how much she is capable of doing so far,
"I don't want you to get the wrong idea. But, at the moment, I can change my hair color and eye color, tho I don't like changing my eye color. And I'm pretty sure I could also change the shape of my nose, but I've never tried that before. I can also kinda control the color change. But, I can't physically change my appearance to look exactly like someone else. I'll be able to do that with more practice, but I wouldn't change my appearance to look exactly like someone, cause that'll just be weird,"
Was it strange that she could change her eye color, but she didn't want to? Tracey just never liked the fact of changing her eye color. She's met only one other person that changes their eye color. A fellow Ravenclaw, but she'd never change her eye color, unless she wanted to try out a new color, then maybe she would, but she likes her dark brown eyes.
"Mostly homework. But, I've met some other people. Jumped into the Great Lake while under supervision, and obviously play with Tiger. What about you? Ah, I'm not stuttering because I've talked to a lot of people, so it kinda naturally went away," Tracey says in response to Klynn's question.

Oh, dang, she can't change into the headmaster and give me a passing grade in everything. Oh, well, a guy could have hoped I suppose.

"Oh, well I've not been up to much myself. Just trying to keep up with schoolwork I suppose. Nothing really to exciting."

Klynn then looked to the cat who was currently at his feet, before he hesitantly stroked the cat.

"But, hey, it's good to see you're not stuttering any more, it makes me seem less threatening, which I could really use after a few interactions I've had in the week."

Klynn recalled how he may have developed a hostile relationship with another student on accident, simply due to his unapologetic bluntness... or the girl was just rude, he didn't know. Upon looking back up and Bailey, he noticed how her eyes had changed since they last met, not physically, but something about them. She seemed more open, more confident, and a lot more interesting to Klynn than she was last time.

It seemed more captivating than last time, like something made him more curious as to who this girl was. Maybe it was time he got out of his comfort zone and maybe make a friend...

Even if that friend is simply to provide him with more entertainment that he can watch from the sidelines.

Tracey was pretty sure Klynn was disappointed when he found out that Tracey can't exactly turn into the headmaster or a teacher and give him a passing grade and also if she could, she wouldn't, since she doesn't want to get in trouble. Upon hearing the boys reply, Tracey nodded her head then said,
"We have a lot of homework, but i've been doing ok recently. I haven't turned anything in late yet. Tiger also makes me study, even if I don't want to,"
Tracey wasn't trying to brag or anything, since she tends to say stuff without thinking them over, especially if she's comfortable around them. Tracey hoped that Klynn didn't think it was weird that Tiger was making her study, but it was true. Tracey then saw Klynn hesitantly stroke Tiger, but she didn't say anything. She then heard Klynn speak, and after he was done, she said,
"I never found you threatening tho. I hope no one made you second guess yourself. You really aren't threatening. And if someone had said that, i'll put a curse on them, not sure which one tho,"
Tracey wasn't sure why she had said that, but while talking with Klynn, she felt a weird feeling, and she wasn't sure what it, and she wasn't sure if she tell Klynn or owl her parents first. She also hoped Klynn didn't think she was weird or anything from what she had just said.

Klynn's eyes slightly widened, though not to the point of being noticeable. This girl, who not even a week ago was stuttering nervously, just said she'd curse anyone who called him threatening. The faint shadow of a smile fell on his face knowing he may not have been wrong in calling this girl a friend.

"Well, that's very generous, but I doubt you'd need to go that far. I'm used to it in all honestly, never bothered me either. When needed I speak my mind, and people simply see that as rude, no big deal."

Klynn allowed his smile to grow slightly upon speaking these words, knowing he could tell this to someone. He didn't know what the feeling he had was, but he thought it was just him no longer feeling alone.

So, using this new found feeling, he did something he never thought he would:

"Hey, if you're not busy, maybe we could meet up here again next week? You know, catch up, talk, hang out? Only if you're free though, I wouldn't want to intrude."

Then he waited for her answer, hoping she would accept so that he could spend time with his new friend.

Friend? Yeah, that felt right but at the same time, he felt like it was missing something... oh well, probably nothing

Tracey was sure she had seen Klynn's eyes go wide slightly, but she didn't say anything about it. She was pretty sure he was as shocked as she was when the words had left her mouth. When she heard what Klynn said, she frowned slightly then said,
"Ah, ok. Just letting you know, I might become a duellist, so let me know, ok. I get that, but I dont see you as rude. Some people are like that, and everyone is unique and not the same as everyone else,"
"Wow, when did I become so wise?" Tracey thought slightly giggling at what she had just said.
For some odd reason, she had sounded very wise, and wasn't even 12 years old yet, so she wasn't sure where that had came from, and it had kinda shocked her, but she didn't show it. She then heard Klynn ask if she wanted to hangout with him here again, if she wasn't busy, and she gave him the biggest smile and then said,
"Of course. I'd love to come back here. Is it ok if I bring Tiger with me tho? I tend to bring him out for walks, and tend to come outside, but I could also, not bring him with me,"

Klynn couldn't help but let a small smirk appear on his face, hearing that not only did the girl in front of him want to become a duelist, but that she would defend him if needs be. It made him feel comforted inside, knowing that he had someone to look out for him, and he decided then and there he'd want to do the same.

"Hmm, maybe I should be a duelist as well, though I doubt it's something I'll have the energy to do."

Klynn allowed himself to have a slightly joking tone in his voice, feeling more and more comfortable around this girl the more he talked with her. He did still keep his (smirk aside) monotone face even when Tracey agreed to hang out with him at a later date, but felt ecstatic inside. He couldn't wait.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind Tiger joining. We'll make a day of it, guaranteed."

Klynn's smirk shifted into a soft smile as he looked at the girl in front of him. He certainly hadn't felt this way before, but it was a good feeling, of that much he was sure. Klynn realised the time and that he had to leave, but even as he walked away, his smile remained as long as he thought about Tracey.

"I've got to go, but I look forward to seeing you again... I mean it."

Tracey saw the Slytherin boy in front of her smirk, and it was a small one, but she still saw it, but didn't say anything about it. It was most likely from her talking about becoming a duellist and protecting Klynn, which Tracey still couldn't wonder why she had said it, but she had a feeling about something, but just couldn't make out what the feeling was. She snapped out of her wandering head when she heard Klynn speaking. She smiled at him before saying,
"It'll be fun! Well, not if we both get onto the team and have to go up against each other, that won't be good!"
Tracey heard the joking tone in Klynn's voice, so she didn't mention anything about the energy part, but she did know that one had to have energy to become a duellist, and she just hopped she had enough to become one. She pushed those thoughts out of her head, since she didn't want to seem negative or anything, and heard Klynn speak. She was glad she can bring Tiger with her the next time they met up. Tracey smiled brightly at the boy before saying,
"See ya again, Klynn! It'll be a fun time the next we meet up!"
Tracey watched Klynn return back to the castle and Tracey happily walked over to the lake, and sat down near a tree, and she decided to sit there for a while, before also going back to the castle, since she doesn't want to miss dinner. Oh, but while she was walking back into the castle, her thoughts shifted onto Klynn, and she just realized, she has a crush on the boy, so after dinner she went to send an owl to her parents, telling them all about Klynn and this new feeling, which she figured out was her having a crush on the Slytherin boy.

It had been some time since Klynn had last seen Tracey and he was certain, he had developed a "crush" on the girl... which he only learned after telling his parent's about said crush and how she made him feel. She made him feel comforted, calm, and free to express his (albeit limited) emotions. Now, he would have told her if it weren't for one small detail: he had no idea how he was going to do that.

But then, he received a delivery: a vanilla cupcake with cookies-n-cream frosting, rainbow sprinkles, strawberries and a small candy heart. It came with a poem that was signed by the one and only, Tracey Bailey. Since then, he knew he had to tell her, both for closure and to ask for more of the cupcakes which secretly became his favourite. So, he owled her one day and asked to meet up in the spot they kept bumping into each other at with the time set for 15:00.

He was going to tell her, he was sure of it... he hoped.

All he had to do now, was wait to see if she turned up. If she didn't, at least he wouldn't be judged. He was used to spending most of his time privately, but now he felt a little sad knowing she may not show up.
