Kreszentia could accept that. Wishful thinking on the parent's part she figured, but it seemed to work out. Though she had only known Peach for a few minutes maximum, she wasn't all that bad.
She then took Rhea's question into consideration. Krez kind of... didn't want to answer that honestly. Mostly because saying she came out here to skip rocks and poke mud in the dark didn't seem very dignified. Not that she usually cared, but these girls appeared to be civilized in some way. Peer pressure and all that finally kicking in.
Kreszentia adjusted in her place, scooting around to where she could more easily look between the both of them and her back wouldn't be turned so rudely to Rhea. For now, she thought she had to come up with some vaguely true reason for being here besides childish antics, and at that moment she finally thought of something acceptable!
"Exploring." She quietly answered, with the smallest of shrugs to accompany her excuse. It still didn't exactly satisfy her, but it worked for the time being.
With that, she looked to Peach, not intending to answer for her. She figured she already knew but, she wasn't going to be anyone's keeper.

Sefton absent-mindedly approached the lake, the outside world drowned out as he flicked through his thoughts. He had decided to take an evening stroll through the grounds, and had come upon the lake.
His day had gone as usual. All of his classes had been easy to handle and lax. Though, the only interactions he’d had with any students from other houses were self-entitled Slytherins who boasted about their wealthy families and Pureblood status. When Sefton would reply “no” to their questions about whether or not he’d ever heard of their families, they would reply, “Well, maybe it’s because you’re a Muggleborn.”
Or, you know, maybe it was because your family isn’t as popular and wealthy as you think they are. Maybe you should ponder that.
Sefton sat down against the trunk of a tree, pulling his yellow sketchbook out of his bag and resuming a sketch he had done in Potions while waiting for the teacher to stop talking to everyone and actually teach the lesson-one that he wasn’t very fond of learning.
The ash-haired boy sat with his legs crossed. He didn’t notice that the right lens on his glasses was broken. It was always broken somehow. It happened so often that he didn’t even realize when they were broken anymore.

"My name's Rhea. Sorry for just busting into your conversation, but I wanted to clear my mind a bit. Why are you guys out here?", said the newly arrived girl, after observing Peach and Kreszentia. Rhea was quite an interesting name, and Peach wondered what it meant. if it had any meaning, obviously. Kreszentia replied that she had come to explore, and then she gave Peach a look. This one smile to both of the girls and looked at the lake.
"I wanted to see the sunset, on the lake. I was told that it was one of the prettiest things you shall ever see and it is true. It was truly magnificent. It's sad that you missed it, Rhea.". Her voice was sweet and her hands had stopped playing with the grass. She instead picked up a small rock and started observing it. "I like your name. Do you know what it means? If it means something." she asked Rhea. "I ask because I believe that names are the core of who we are. But then, I'm not a peach so I'm not too sure about that, haha". She looked around and observed the shining moon on the lake. You could see small waves created by the animals under the water, animals that she knew the Slytherin common could see, as they had a window giving to the insides of the lake. It wasn't dark, thank god, because Peach hated the dark. The shadows were creeping her out a little and so she scooted a tad closer to her blonde friend. She then heard footsteps, and she stopped breathing for an instant, looking for the source of this noise. It stopped, and it seemed to have sat down somewhere. Probably near a tree.
The three girls weren't covered to the eye, on that small hill, near the lake. The moon's brightness upon them made them clear and extremely visible to anyone who looked. Peach enjoyed this moment, and she also enjoyed making friends. It brought a smile to her face and she stopped worrying about that person, near the tree, and she looked at the two girls.

Rhea was still staring out at the lake when Peach responded, explaining to her the reason she was out so late at the Lake.
"Dang, I knew I should've come out earlier. Maybe the sunset would've helped me to gather my thoughts a bit," Rhea said, sighing in disappointment. Then she thought about the second part of the Peach's question. "Hm, my name. Well, I know it's a name that had something to do with Greek mythology. The only reason I got it was because it was my grandmother's name, and she forced my dad to commemorate her by naming me Rhea. How about you? What's so special about your name?"
The sun had completely set by now, and the moonlight bounced off the surface of the lake. Rhea picked up a flat stone near her and attempted to skip it, wanting to cause ripples in the moon's reflection. She succeeded in getting three skips before the stone sunk to the edge.
Before Peach could be given a chance to answer, Rhea heard footsteps in the near distance. She could tell Peach heard it too, as she moved closer to Kreszentia. Rhea giggled at Peach's actions, "Did you hear that? I swear there's someone else here..."
Rhea stood up and started to walk towards the source of the noise, hoping that it was, in fact, a human. She got closer to the tree where the footsteps had stopped, and noticed a boy sitting there, hidden under the shadow. He had a notebook open and was sketching in it. He had dark, blond-ish hair, and he had glasses on. But one of his lenses was broken.
Rhea walked closer to the boy and leaned on the tree above him. "One of your lenses are broken," Rhea said matter-of-factly.

Kreszentia had been put on edge for the third time tonight, but it brought her some relief that the other girls heard the new footsteps as well and reacted pretty standardly to it. Peach's decision to scoot closer to her was...flattering? In a weird sort of way. A good choice in Krez's opinion but she wouldn't let it get to her head or anything.
Rhea was up and walking away before Krez had a real chance to assess the situation, so all she could do was twist around to watch her walk towards the tree that the noise had stopped near. A boy this time, neat. He looked a little on the frail side if she was being brutally honest. So skinny, with legs like a bird...made her wonder how often he was fed. She could snap him in half- BUT she wasn't going to! Kreszentia had to remember not to let those thoughts linger too long. He had not done anything to provoke anybody yet anyway. He was only doodling, geez.
She stood, dusting her butt off some as she looked curiously to Peach, clearly with the intent to follow Rhea over there. It seemed the next fun lake activity was going to be assimilating other children into the little lake club they had going on.

Sefton jumped slightly when he was addressed. He had been so involved in his thoughts that he hadn’t realized the group of girls were there. He looked up at Rhea. The extreme bright-redness of her hair threw him off guard a bit.
Sefton’s lenses were broken, apparently. He took off his round-rimmed glasses and inspected them.
“So they are,” he smirked slightly. “Comme toujours.”
The ashen-haired boy looked back up at Rhea. “It isn’t a very big deal, really. They’re always broken. It’s to the point where I don’t really notice it anymore.”
The setting sunlight cast a fiery glow into his brown eyes, making it seem as if they were amber mixed with a bit of gold. He had the impression of someone who had never really been raised to care about what they looked like, as his hair was wiry and bedraggled. He was thin and lanky, but not in an overly healthy or unhealthy way. Though, he did care enough to take showers regularly. This kind of presentation gave him a bit of an imaginative look.
The boy put his glasses back on and returned to his sketchbook, talking to her absently. “Not to be rude or anything, but about ten different kids have walked up to me saying that they were the heir to some family name, were Pureblood, or were extremely rich. If you came over here with the intent to say none of those things, we’ll get along just fine.” He had an air of exasperation, as if he had told a few other people that had walked up to him those words.

Rhea snickered as the boy jumped a bit when she spoke, and proceeded to examine what the boy was drawing. Due to the light shadow from the tree's branches, she couldn't make out what was drawn on the page. When she informed him of his broken lenses, he took them off and looked them over.
"So they are," the boy said. "Comme toujours." So, the boy spoke French. Rhea knew bits and pieces of the French language, as her mother had forced her into learning the so-called Language of Love. Rhea wondered if the boy was indeed French, or just learned it for fun of. She turned to look at the two girls she'd left the edge of the lake and saw them looking at her. She shrugged as if to say, He seems nice enough. Kreszentia looked a bit on edge but seemed to calm down after a small bit. She looked as if she was about to get up, but was unsure if she should, seeing as Peach was still deciding what to do.
Rhea decided to inspect the boy from her angle of leaning above him. He had dirty-blonde hair, more ashy than blond, and looked rather thin. But what he lacked in weight he made up in his height. He was quite tall, and Rhea knew that if he stood up she would have to crane her head up to talk to him. His hair was disheveled, with small tufts sticking out. The boy put his glasses back on, broken lense and all, and spoke. “Not to be rude or anything, but about ten different kids have walked up to me saying that they were the heir to some family name, were Pureblood, or were extremely rich. If you came over here with the intent to say none of those things, we’ll get along just fine.” Rhea could tell the boy was annoyed, but at his words Rhea also became agitated. She scoffed.
"Oh, so you think that just cause I'm a pureblood, I'm gonna brag all about it?" While Rhea normally would've boasted about being a Bishop, she was attempting to turn over a new leaf and become a good person. She was tempted to make some snide remark, but held herself back. Instead, she decided to switch the subject. Rhea turned to look at Kreszentia and Peach and motioned for both of them to come over. Then she switched her attention back to the boy. "My name's Rhea Bishop. I'm in Gryffindor. What's your name?"

Sefton listened to the girl’s change in tone, and smirked slightly when he realized he’d hit a nerve. Though, maybe this girl wasn’t into that type of stuff. Being Pureblood didn’t mean you were stuck up and were always snide to lesser folk. Sefton was a Ravenclaw, yet he wasn’t the goodie-two-shoes teacher’s pet everyone expected a Ravenclaw to be. He liked to misbehave and cause trouble. He didn’t pay attention in his classes unless he was intruiged by what they were currently learning.
That’s what he liked about himself. That he was different than everyone else in his house.
“Sefton Ailbrooke,” he stated his name simply. “I’m in Ravenclaw. I didn’t mean to intrude on...” he glanced at the other two girls, “whatever you were doing. I’m just here to release a bit of stress.”
Sefton was currently drawing a wolf with a simple background of grass and trees. It was remarkable for an eleven-year-old (though he had turned twelve a few days ago, so remarkable for a twelve-year-old).
Sefton could tell Rhea was trying to see what he was drawing by the way she was slightly shifting over. He became slightly embarrassed. There was a reason why he never let anyone in his sketchbook, and that was because he was too embarrassed to show his work. Though he was bold in his words and actions, his thoughts were an entirely different story. He drew what he thought of-figuratively. They were usually in such a discreetly placed way that no one knew that they meant something.
The wolf was an adult, and it’s surroundings were what seemed to be rainforests.
Wolves weren’t usually found in rainforests.

The beckoning gesture from Rhea and the brief glance from the new boy was enough of a signal for her. Krez gave one more glance to Peach before giving her a small shrug and a quick nod of her head in their direction, indicating to her that she should come along. She turned back to the other two and marched over, not in an excited manner or anything. The whole situation was still pretty odd for her and everyone kind of appeared in quick succession. Too many, too fast.
When she got near enough to the tree, much like she had done with Peach when she first arrived here, she stopped, this time directly in front of them and a good two and a half feet away from the boy and Rhea as a kind of unnecessary precaution. She looked around her little area for a second, then promptly sat down in place and seemed to expect the conversation to continue as before, resting comfortably on her knees with her hands placed politely in her lap. Her right hand fidgeted subtly with something that was barely peeking out of her sleeve as she sat there, but she didn't pay any other attention to it besides the careful twiddling.

Peach took a while before standing up and walking close behind Kreszentia, towards the boy. She was comfortable on that small hill and she wanted to keep looking at the lake. but, on the other hand, didn't want to be alone doing so. She hadn't heard the start of the conversation between Rhea and the young boy. She did hear him present himself, with a smirk on his face.
“Sefton Ailbrooke, I’m in Ravenclaw. I didn’t mean to intrude on...whatever you were doing. I’m just here to release a bit of stress.”
Peach sat down next to her blonde friend and she looked at the boy. He had a broken lens and he seemed quite insolent. He was drawing in his sketchbook, barely giving the girls a look. Peach looked over at Rhea, who seemed a little irritated. She wondered why. No one was speaking and it was slightly awkward, so the young girl decided to introduce herself.
"Hello Sefton, I am Peach. I'm in Hufflepuff." she said, smiling softly. She wasn't too sure about that young boy, but he didn't seem very mean. Just a little sure of himself but what boy wasn't at this age. She wanted to know him a little more before she could make and form a proper opinion on him. She looked at Kreszentia, as she was asking if the blondie wanted Peach to introduce her to the boy, in case she didn't wish to speak. Peach really liked her, so far. She seemed sweet but very shy, which was okay. Rhea was way more forward, which was good. In one night, she had made two friends and she was quite proud of herself, as she had been pushing her instincts back down to her core to speak freely to the girls. It was a little tired of fighting against herself but it felt good, and now, she knew she could do this kind of stuff. She thought that she'd have to send a letter to her mother, as this one would be very happy to hear the news.
