A Study Date
Allie continued to walk down the hallways until she came to a staircase in the Great Hall that didn't have anyone around. She leaned her back against the wood of the railing and slid down the edge of the banister with her nose stuck in a book until she took was able to take a seat on one of the last steps of the staircase. She knew that this was one of the staircases that had a habit of moving, but she didn't mind since she wasn't going to be getting up and going anywhere anytime soon.
She turned the pages of the book excitedly until she had finished the chapter that she had been reading. Letting out a slight sigh as she closed the book, Allie couldn't help but think back on the whole situation with Mari in the library. Allie still couldn't wrap her head around why Mari was being so... rude to her. She had already apologized for her mistake on the train and hadn't talked to the other girl for the first few weeks that they were here at school. Allie let out another sigh before standing up to brush her robes from the dust that collected on the back of them before heading to her dorm room.
