Besties for Life? Always
It was a nice and cool October Saturday and Madison had not really done much, a pretty decent day in her opinion. She'd had breakfast with her boyfriend, and was now sitting in the courtyard underneath the big tree, reading one of the books she'd brought from home. It was one about the greatest Quidditch matches of all time, however Madison soon had read enough and put the book down.
As she stretched her body after standing up, having sat down for a while, she spotted a red headed girl at the entry of the courtyard. She couldn't quite make out who it was, however as soon as the girl came closer, she knew exactly who it was. "Omg Lily!!" Madison said with a massive smile, as the two best friends hugged for what felt like ages, crashing into each other as if they hadn't seen each other in ages, which they hadn't.
Since they were in different houses, the girls hadn't really seen each other much. They had become best friends in their first year and Lily had become one of Madis very first friends, so naturally their friendship was very important to Madi. However with school, classes and everything else, they hadn't really gotten to hang out much, however that was about to change.
As Madi smiled at Lily, a thought crossed her mind. "Ok so, if you've got nothing planned today, how about we hang out for the day? I miss my best friend and need a girls day. What do you say? Maybe we could even pull a few pranks on the poor unfortunate souls of our brothers" Madi said with a giggle. Lily had two brothers and Madi had one older brother in Ravenclaw. As the Autumn wind blew against the walls of the courtyard, Madison knew she was going to have the most amazing day with her bestie, with the two of them together, anything was possible

Lily had had a pretty boring day so far. It was a beautiful day and Lily had done her homework putside and read her book. Finally she stood up and put her stuff away in her dorm before coming back outside. She caught sight of a shock of blonde hair and squealed in reply to Madison Bennett's squeal as they both crushed each other in a hug. "Oh my god, Madi!! Its been way too long!!" Lily said excitedly. They both asked each other a dozen questions as they caught up with eac other after what felt like years. Madison asked what they should do about their brothers and Lily smirked, telling Madison all about the letter Colin had wrote and had posted in the Gryffindor common room. The one that was completely false and listed like 5 boy that Lily was supposed to be dating. Like wth. "So yeah i think we should give Colin a taste of his own medicine. What do you think?" Lily smirked as she thought about what the two could do together to wrech havoc in her dear brothers life. After what he did, he could really take a taste of his own yucky medicine.

Madison gave Lily a great big hug, after all the girls were such good friends, despite them being in different houses. Madison giggled at Lily's question and though for a bit. "Hmm, well we know he loves that journal of his, do you think you can get it from his satchel without him realising? Cause, I have an idea" Madison asked Lily, she knew exactly how to give Colin a taste of his own medicine. A soft smirk appeared on her lips, she knew how to get Colin back.
Madison sat by the fountain and smiled at Lily, "we need to make sure we don't go this long again between catch ups Lils, it's been way too long since we've hung out. I did also hear about that letter, he had no right to do that to you Lils, but then again, he'll always be Col, and he is your brother" Madison says with a giggle. She'd missed Lily, they'd been close friends since first year, in a way they just clicked. Lily wasn't as graceful as Madison was, but it was nice having a friend Madison could let loose with and be herself. Would her mother approve of Lily as a friend? Probably not. Did Madison care? Not really. Madison knew she and Lily would have heaps more adventures together, she couldn't wait.

Lily smirked and nodded. "Oh yes he loves his journal. What's your idea?" She asked excitedly, ready to get revenge on her dear brother. It was definitely going to be fun, her and Madi could cause real chaos if they truly felt like it. And today was one of those chaotic days.
Lily nodded. "Yes we must not let it go too far. But I've been so busy, what with homework and my brothers and now my boyfriend." She gasped as she realized Madi didn't even know yet. "Omg girl!! Remember i told you about Liam McCoire, how he was attacked and we all thought he was dead?" She asked softly. Once Madi answered she continued. "Well we found him!! And he's alive and well. He comes here now. " she smiled before looking up at the sky. "And I'm dating now. Bailey Ledges. He's a first year Slytherin. I think Colin is happy with my choice. Though i still like Finnigan Connor." She said sheepishly. Lily was quite happy she found someone who loved her just as much as she loved him. Lily's eyes flashed excitedly as she remembered. God what it was to be a girl in love with boys
