Taking a dip Closed

Reine walked along the shore, studying a letter her grandmother had sent her. She smiled to herself as she noted how her grandmother would be worried she wouldn't make friends. Reine knew her grandmother was worrying about nothing, she usually always ran into someone she liked, whether it was literally or not.

Hearing talking ahead of her, she looked up from her letter to see the group of three people. She was confused at how one seemed to have just gotten out of the water, even though it was cold by her standards. Reine folded her letter and stuck it in a pocket on her new Gryffindor robes as she neared the trio. Slightly amused at how they were all from different houses, except for her and the other Gryffindor about her height, she stood a few feet from the group. For once in her life, Reine felt unsure of herself. She knew that she shouldn't be, but Hogwarts was a whole new experience for her, and she didn't want to mess it up.

She silently scolded herself for being so silly and straightened up, trying to make herself seem a little taller as she introduced herself, "Hello! My name's Reine Thomas! I'm pleased to meet you all."
