Tracey had just said goodbye to her parents and she's now making her way onto the Hogwarts Express, a very beautiful red train. Tracey was always excited to go to Hogwarts and to ride the train there, but one thing that worried her, was if she'd make any friends before going to Hogwarts. Tracey took those thoughts out of her mind and went to go find an empty compartment. She found one close to the doors of the train and went inside. Her trunk was already there and so was her carry-on bag, which had her little kitten, Tiger, in. She took Tiger out of the bag and let him rest of her lap. Tracey looked out the window and saw her parents. She waved at them for the last time before the train started to move, and she wouldn't see them again, well, until the breaks, or summer, depending on if Tracey wants to stay at Hogwarts for the breaks or not. Tracey played with her little kitten, and looked at the door when she heard it open. She saw a boy standing there and smiled at him. She gestured for him to come in and said,
"You can come in, if you want to. It's only me and Tiger,"

Fear.
It coursed through Ethan's body overtaking his senses and flooding his thoughts.
Fear.
The sense that Ethan would fail at Hogwarts, be nothing more than a stupid magicless fool.
Fear.
The one thing holding him back.

He stared at his four brothers in silence, tightly holding Chris's hand not caring how foolish he looked. It's okay, we're going to be okay, just another step in life. He tried to convince himself wearily. Hoot! The huge red train with bold letters spelling out Hogwart's Express painted on the front. Smoke was billowing out of the front speedily. Five minutes till departure. He glanced at his brothers. "Is it hard, is it scary?" Chris laughed loudly obviously not as worried as Ethan. His brothers just chuckled and clapped his back, assuring and assuring him that everything would be fine.

He looked at the train worry and fear rushing through his lean body. Adrenaline swimming to his head. He may be worried but no one could know that. You're just a class clown, nothing else. He reminded himself, vivid thoughts vibing around in his worried filled head.

He stepped on the stairs, glancing around smiling, masking his feelings again. He saw a girl through a cloudy filled window inviting her in. He stepped inside reluctantly. It was a small compartment, no bigger for two people. There were two racks on top of their heads where he placed his luggage. The small plaid seats were rather comfortable, much to Ethan's surprise. She glanced at the girl, she was quite beautiful. He offered his hand to her kindly. Which she stared at for a while, before shaking nervously.

"Hiya, my names Ethan!" Is it your first year as well, what house are you hoping to be in?" He tried to create some conversation hoping to cure both of their nervousness.

After the two shook hands, Tracey resumed playing with her kitten, Tiger, who has fallen asleep. She then heard the boy speak. She first nodded then said,
"I'm Tracey. Yes, it's my first year. Hm, maybe Ravenclaw, I think it fits me most, but Hufflepuff will be good too. Just not Slytherin. And not really Gryffindor. How 'bout you, Ethan?"
Tracey didn't really have anything else to say, so she didn't say anything else. She just pet Tiger and looked out the window. They had fully left the station now, and all she could see was green. It was silent, Tracey wasn't sure if it was awkward silence or not, but after a while the young girl had got tired of the silence and decided to talk to the boy, since she wanted a friend before she arrived at the school.
"Uh, are you an only child or d'you having siblings? I'm an only child, and also a half-blood. You don't have to tell me your blood status if you don't want to,"
After she had said that, Tiger woke up. Tiger likes everyone, and sees Ethan. Tiger doesn't do anything at first. He just stays in Tracey's lap, but then he said to Ethan,
"Meow (hello)"

Blood continued to pump fast in his body, though he was weary to let Tracey know that. You're just another boy, you're fine, you got this. He repeated through his head, attempting to convince himself he was okay. But deep down he knew he was quite the opposite. He didn't even realize that Tracey was talking until she was. What house, what house? He thought considering his options.

"I think I'd have to go with Hufflepuff." Probably where I belong anyway. Kian said they were the weakest house. He remembered his brothers making fun of the house vividly. "Probably not Gryffindor, but maybe Ravenclaw?" But I'm not brave or smart, then what am I? He thought his worry thoughts growing louder in his head.

He heard Tracey's questions all rapidly coming at him. I'm muggle-born, but I know all about magic, all of my brothers went here and still do come here! Keep the conversation going Ethan, c'mon. "Did I mention I had five brothers and an annoying twin?" He laughed and Tracey laughed too, It was almost like they clicked.

All the worry thoughts escaped as he started to laugh. He saw Tracey and he knew he had just made his first friend.

He jumped up, Tracey looked shocked. He gazed out the window, his eyes opened wide with anticipation. "It's Hogwarts, it really is!" His blue eyes were wide with no trace of fear left inside. Ethan was right, the huge castle was now rapidly approaching them.

"We should probably change into our robes, c'mon!" Tracey nodded and Ethan could see the wisdom in her eyes. She grabbed Ethan's hand and they rushed out of the compartment, no fear left in his body.

Tracey knew that is was tricky trying to figure out what house'll be good for someone. She has no idea how the Sorting Hat is able to do it, but then again, it was enchanted, so hopefully it'll choose the best house for both Tracey and Ethan. When she heard what house Ethan thinks he'll be in, she nodded her head then says,
"Hufflepuff is a very interesting house. Many people say its for weak people, but it really isn't. Hufflepuff is about people who are caring, not just weak. But, Gryffindor is a good house as well. I think those two houses will fit you perfectly. As for Ravenclaw, maybe. But I heard the common room is all the way in the west tower, it'll be a long walk to get to the common room and all the classes,"
Tracey kinda went on a mini-rant and she hopped she didn't scare the boy away. Sometimes, Tracey tends to rant, only if she finds a lot of info to tell the person she's talking to on the topic that was brought up. Tracey actually does this a lot whenever she has Tiger with her and she's not sure why.
"Oh, wow. I think your the only muggleborn wizard I've met. What's it like having siblings and a twin? I mean, you sure do have a lot of siblings, and as I had already stated, I'm an only child, so I'm pretty curious," Tracey says amazed and curiously.
Tracey laughed when Ethan laughed. She was having fun talking to this boy and knew that she had definitely made her very first friend. As Hogwarts approached, Tracey put Tiger back into the cat cage just so then he wouldn't get lost. After she had closed the cage, Ethan had jumped up, making Tracey shocked. She then looked out the window and realized that they were here.
"Your right! Let's go get ready," Tracey says standing up.
She grabbed Ethan's hand and ran out of the compartment with Ethan. The only problem was, she wasn't sure where to go. She found the bathrooms that the train had and she let go of Ethan's hand then went into the bathroom and got changed. She walked out of the bathroom in her robes and she decided to wait for Ethan to change before going back to the compartment.
