After lunch had finished, Tracey made her way to the West Tower to get her cat, Tiger. Tracey decided to take Tiger out for a walk, since she had finished up all her homework for the week last night. Tracey made her way to the stair cases so she could return to the Ravenclaw common room. Luckily for her, the stairs didn't change. Once she was near the West Tower, she was tired from walking up all those stairs. Once she had caught her breath, she went to the entrance of the common room, answered the riddle within to first try and went to her dorm.
"Tiger, wanna come for a walk?" Tracey asks seeing her pet cat curled up on her bed.
Upon hearing his name, Tiger woke up from his nap and looked at his owner. He uncurled himself and hopped off of Tracey's bed.
"Meow (yes)," Tiger says.
"Great. Wanna go to the Great Lake?" Tracey asks.
"Meow (yes)," Tiger says.
Tracey smiles at Tiger and walks out of her room. Tracey saw Tiger following her. Tracey stopped and bent down to feed Tiger a piece of chicken. Tiger happily ate it. After he had ate his food which Tracey had given him from the Great Hall, she left the common room with Tiger following her and made their way down to the Great Lake. Once on the ground floor, the two made their way towards the Entrance Hall. Tracey opened the door and walked out of the castle and closed the door behind Tiger.
"Ah, the Great Lake. Remember how I feel in right here?" Tracey asks Tiger walking over to the spot where she had fallen into before winter break.
Tiger had followed Tracey up until this point. Tracey was confused, until she saw Tiger with another cat and was quite sure that he had found a friend. Tiger approached Meera and said,
"Meow (hello),"
"Aw, did Tiger meet a friend?" Tracey asked approaching the two cats.
Tiger purred, agreeing with what his owner said. Tracey crouched down and pet Tiger then turned to Meera and asked,
"Where's your owner?"

Tiger meets a friend
27th January 2024 | Afternoon Outfit | Great Lake
Another lovely winter afternoon. Sun's out. Wind blowing, adding that slight nip of cold that Harley oh-so loved. Taking a walk around the grounds and the lake has become a favourite of his. A term has passed, yet he still marvelled at the scenery. Nothing could beat the Scottish Highlands and the towering beauty of Hogwarts castle.
For the first time at Hogwarts, the young Hufflepuff decided to take his feline bestie out for a gander. There was nothing— no-one on this Earth he loved more than Meera. Well, maybe his dad, but that's not the point! The point was that she's missing.
Wait... missing?! Harley, jerked his head around, his gaze setting on an empty patch of grass where she was just a moment ago. "How the...?" he yelped. Surely he put her harness on properly. Right? He was convinced he did. But, evidently, that was not the case. Even so, she wouldn't just run off like this, leash or not.
His blue eyes scanned the lakefront, worried she may have fallen in the ice-cold water. He couldn't help but blame himself if something were to happen to her.
A wave of relief washed over him. Spotting her majestic black-white fur peeking through the grass. His gaze fixated on Meera while he closed the distance, not at all noticing the girl standing by her. Until, he slowed, seeing his cat sitting by... another ginger cat? He glanced up, seeing a girl with shining long blonde hair. Interesting.
Harley raised an eyebrow at the sight as he rushed over with a worried look spread across his face. "Meera!" He sighed, bending down, giving her forehead a scratch. "Tha scared the 'eck out of me." His eyes glistened in the afternoon sun as he looked up at the girl. "Hiya. Ta for looking after her." He said with a gentle smile. "Dunno what I'd've done if she went missing."

Tracey decided to stay with the cat that Tiger had found just in case the cats owner had lost her. She had a feeling that it'd be good if she stayed. Just so then she'd know that the cat had found its owner. Tracey looked closer at the cat and realized it was a female. Soon she heard a voice and saw a boy with blonde hair come over to them. She knew that this boy was the cats owner, by the way he spoke.
"Hello, your welcome. My cat Tiger had actually found her, and I wasnt sure if she was lost or not, so I decided to stay. It wouldn't be good if you had actually lost her. She's a beautiful cat as well. Uh, I'm Tracey Bailey by the way," Tracey had said.
She hadn't stuttered at all while talking to the boy, and she didn't know why. Then she looked down and realized that Tiger is her good luck charm. Whenever she had him near her, she wouldn't stutter. Tiger was actually Tracey's second pet, but she didn't remember much of her very first pet. Tiger looked at Tracey, then the other cat, then at the boy, then back at Tracey. The little tabby was trying to figure out what was happening, and after a while, he had figured it out. He and Tracey had done a good thing, which he had figured out from what the two were saying. Tiger didn't know what it felt like to be lost, since he was always with Tracey, or in the Tracey's dorm.

How kind of her. Few people would do that, muggle or wizard. He gently secured Meera's leash before standing, giving her a final scratch on the back of her head. Tracey was right; it would not have been good if he'd lost Meera. Horrible actually, but it wasn't so. Thanks to her.
"He's a cute lil' guy," he glanced at Tiger with a glint of affection in his eyes. A true hero. It was always nice seeing other cat owners out on a walk. He'd do it more often if he had the time, though, evidently maybe it wasn't the best idea. "I'm Harley— Jukes." He turned to Tracey with a bright grin. "Guessing you're walking your cat too?" Captain obvious. "This is me first time taking her on a wander. Aaand I almost lost her." A small chuckle escaped him. It was quite funny, and not at all surprising.
Meera huddled up in the grass by Tiger, letting out a soft meow. She didn't tend to be the rowdy sort, evident by her calm and collected movements. Quite majestic. Almost as if she was a princess... To Harley, certainly, and she seemed to understand that. Even so, her affection knew no bounds. This time seemingly targeted at Tracey's ginger cat.

Tracey saw the boy attach a leash to Meera, but she didn't say anything. Tracey had never put a leash on Tiger, since he follows her around and if he did walk away, she'd be able to find him, or he'd return back to her. Tracey heard the boy compliment Tiger, and Tracey only smiled, but Tiger says,
"Meow (Yes, I am)"
Tracey shook her head and giggled at Tiger. Tiger was happy with the compliment he had received and that's why Tracey had laughed.
"It's nice to meet you, Harley. Sorry for laughing. It's just that Tiger was very happy with the compliment you gave him and he agreed with you. Yep, I'm walking Tiger. I didn't want to just stay inside today. Hey, at least I was here. If not, who knows what would've happened," Tracey says.
She felt bad for how she ended, but then again, if she and Tiger weren't there, then what would've happed. While Tracey was talking to Harley, Tiger was looking at Meera. He heard her meow, and so he meowed back. Tracey wasn't sure what the two cats were saying, but she hopped they were becoming friends. Maybe Harley noticed that the two cats are becoming friends, or its just her.

Harley beamed at Tracey. At first, he didn't realise how happy Tiger was with his compliment. But it was true, he is a cute little guy. And a hero too! That said, he didn't get too caught upon what happened. It all turned out well in the end.
Glancing down, he noticed Meera and Tiger... bonding? Talking? Becoming friends? Whatever. The point was, Meera seemed happy. Definitely taking a liking to Tiger's company. At first, Harley wasn't sure what to make of it. She hasn't had the chance to make any friends thus far, beside him of course. So that was nice to see. But also, a part of him felt bad. Unsure of how often the two cats would be able to play and have fun together. After all, he didn't know Tracey all that well.
"They seem to get along." He gestured at the cats with a gentle smile. "So, how long have you had Tiger?" It was a question he'd been meaning to ask. She seemed to be quite comfortable with him. Not even a harness or anything. Having that much trust takes a strong bond.
But what did he know? Meera was his first pet, and while he did his best to take care of her. Usually it was a case of taking a stab in the dark and hope for the best. But, it usually worked out. Other than a few minutes ago...

Tracey saw Harley beam at her, and she smiled brightly back. Tracey looked down at the two cats and was very happy that they were getting along, but she also wasn't sure if her happiness was strong enough to make her hair go yellow, even tho it was already blonde, Tracey had a feeling that Harley would still notice, now Tracey didn't mind her hair color changing, but she also wasn't sure howow the boy would react to her ability. She snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of Harley speaking, she listened to what he said and nodded her head in agreement to what he said. She then said,
"Yeah, they really do. Oh, I've had Tiger since my 11th birthday, so basically I got him before coming here. How long have you had Meera for?"
Tracey was glad that Tiger and Meera were getting along, since Tiger didn't really have any friends that aren't humans. Tracey mostly brought Tiger everywhere she went, except for her classes, since she didn't want to get in trouble for bringing her friend to class. Tiger was also Tracey's second pet. The first pet was a bunny, but she didn't remember much of her bunny, since she was young when the bunny died.
