Mari was in her first year at Hogwarts and she was very excited (even if she didn't show it)!FIRST YEAR SELECTION CEREMONY
The train ride to Hogwarts went... well! Incredibly well!
When Mari arrived at Hogwarts, inside she was "screaming" with happiness but on the outside always keeping her posture (but anyone who saw Mari noticed that she was very happy)!
Mair was simply FASCINATED by Hogwarts! Every detail was perfect Mari's thought
When the ceremony began, Mari was one of the first (around the tenth) to be called to find out which was her house...
Hm... what a difficult decision- SLYTHERIN obviously!- said the sorting hat before it was even on top of mari's head!
What a surprise-said Mari laughing at the irony very softly
Mari had been the first Slytherin at the ceremony so it was a "party" for all Slytherins!
As soon as Mari went to the Slytherin table, they clapped and praised her!
Time passed and shortly before the middle of the ceremony another girl arrives at Slytherin, her name was Mellani, Mari already knew her by sight on the platform, she had long wavy brown hair and brown eyes.
The sorting hat was a little undecided with the decision but ended up placing her in Slytherin, Mari didn't quite understand Mellani's facial expression, it seems that she was sad, but at the same time... she showed that she was happy. .. Mellani sat across from Mari.

When the ceremony ended / the party started, Mari was already very hungry (it seems that she hadn't eaten for 1 year), and started talking to Mellani, in the middle of the conversation Mellani told Mari that she was Muggle-born, Mari was amazed and without reaction, because he didn't remember anyone being a Slytherin Muggle born... but soon afterwards he "returned to normal"... and they continued talking

Mellani sat with the Sorting Hat on her head, wondering where she would go. When the hat chose Slytherin, Mellani was overcome with surprise. She had heard that Slytherin was one of the most evil houses, and she didn't remember being evil to anyone. She had just been helping people and being kind.
However, she forced a smile as she went and sat on the Slytherin table. She had never seen so much food in her life. She wondered what to eat and looked around at all the other Slytherins. They didn't look evil... Maybe it was just a stereotype... She shrugged, trying not to think about it.
That was when she heard a voice. When she turned her head towards the voice, she realized that another girl was talking to her. "Hey! I'm Mellani Miller, nice to meet you!", she said extending her hand for a handshake. That was not so bad... Maybe this "Mari" could be her friend!
Mellani slowly starting choosing some food and eating it. It was some of the most delicious food she had had in a long time. She wondered which servants must have made so much and where they might have found the energy to make the food. She could never make such food, even if she spent hours on it. Or was this also some kind of magical trick?

Mari observed the girl, she didn't seem to feel very comfortable, she wouldn't want to go to Slytherin, Mari thought, from what she knew, Slytherin was kind of "the house of villains" for a lot of people , so even though Mari doesn't understand, a lot of people may feel “attacked” for being placed there. Wow, this food is really wonderful, but it's kind of weird to think it's magic...., I thought Mari completely changed her mind, and deliberately gave a smile, something she didn't do very often
After the girl greets her, Mari reaches out and shakes the girl's hand "Sorry for the question, but is everything okay? I don't know, it seems like you're a little sad..." Said Mari , for the girl, trying not to be too direct, she was loving being there, it really was a dream come true, even though she had the... difficult personality that Mari had, she didn't like seeing someone who was like that, at least in her opinion Mari, not enjoying this special day.
"This food is really good, right" Mari said a little seriously, seconds later, unconsciously breaking that tense atmosphere, she continued, also wondering how the hell someone could do this, or how this would be done in Magic .
