Finished Is this love? pv Klynn Seacrown Closed

Klynn was never one to go outside as often as others would have liked. Far from it. He was far more content to stay in the background on such occasions, or inside when he could avoid it. Now, however, was not one such time.
One of his dormmates believed it would be good to force Klynn to go outside.

So, here he is, walking in the courtyard trying to remain as unnoticed as possible by being close to the wall. However, luck was not on his side as his wand, which he had been inspecting, was suddenly shot out of his hand by non other than his biggest enemy: nature. A sudden gust of wind had swept it out of his loose grip and further out into the courtyard.

While releasing a sigh of annoyance, Klynn went to where his wand had gone, while trying to avoid that feeling where it feels everyone is judging your walk. He quickly picked up his wand, giving it a once-over, and stashed it in his robes. Deciding he had been outside for long enough, he stood up and turned around to re-enter the castle.

However, as he took a step, he accidently walked right into someone else, in turn knocking them both over. He rubbed his head before looking straight ahead to see he had accidently bumped into a girl from Ravenclaw. A first year like him he guessed, before looking a bit closer.

He recalled her from the Sorting ceremony: Tracey Bailey, he believed.

While trying to explore the courtyard, she felt someone bump into her causing both herself and whoever had bumped into her, to fall down. Tracey just sat there confused. She wasn't expecting to actually meet someone in the courtyard, or more like be bumped into. She thought that the courtyard was empty, but apparently it wasn't. Tracey looked at who had bumped into her and saw a Slytherin first year boy.
"What was his name again?" Tracey asked herself.
She had seen him before, during the Sorting ceremony, and she was quite sure that she had also seen him in one of her classes, but she couldn't remember what his name was. Tracey then heard him speak and she shook her head before saying,
"N-no, i-it's not your fault. I-I did-didn't think that someone else was here. U-uh, we-we've met before, right?"
Tracey was sure she had made it awkward, but she was confused if she had actually met the boy before or not. Tracey then decided to get up, since she didn't want to just sit on the floor of the courtyard. Tracey then extended her hand to the boy, she wasn't sure if the boy was going to take her hand or not, but she still wanted to be polite, since it was kinda her fault that they were both on the ground to being with.

Klynn looked up to see the girl offering him a hand up, which he took right away. He got off the ground and dusted himself off. Then he decided to reply to her question.

"Not in person, or rather, not properly introduced. I definitely recall seeing you at the Sorting ceremony, but I'm unsure after that. So, why don't we start like that, it's only fair after we knocked each other over."

Klynn pointed to himself and gave a quick bow of his head. "My name is Klynn Seacrown, a pleasure. Now would be when you introduce yourself."

Klynn, despite his blunt and, potentially rude, tone, didn't mean to come off that way. He simply spoke monotonously which came off as harsh. In truth, he did want to make friends, he just wanted to: a) not make friends with a ridiculously popular person, and b) go back inside. His rush, coupled with his natural tone, may have made him come off as rude.

Regardless, he didn't apologies, nor did he try speaking a bit softer. Instead, he simply looked her dead in the eyes with his amber-coloured eyes and waited for her to introduce herself. Then, he could go about his day, being a background character and staying inside.

Tracey watched the Slytherin boy take her hand and she helped him up. Once he was standing, she let go of his hand and heard him speak. She also heard him introduce himself.
"Ah, his name is Klynn. Why do I feel like I've heard that name before? Actually, I think it's cause he might've been in one of my classes, I'm not sure tho," Tracey thought.

Tracey didn't think Klynn sounded rude, she just wondered if he was what people call monoton. She hadn't meet someone who spoke monotonously, so this was new to her. But, she also wondered if she'd become friends with the boy. She had a feeling that Klynn was going to go back inside after she introduced herself to the boy, and really hopped that he didn't, but she didn't want to say anything, since she didn't want to come off as weird or anything like that.
"If Klynn does walk back inside of the castle, I might not be able to see him again, but I also don't want to stop him from going back inside of the castle, since he doesn't seem to like the castle very much," Tracey thought trying to figure out what to do.

Upon her sentence, littered with stutters, Klynn grew annoyed. Not because of anything Tracey did, no, but because he was led to believe his own demeanor caused others to be unnerved around him.

He let out a silent sigh as he looked back at the girl.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Tracey. If you'll excuse me, I'll take my leave."

He turned to enter the castle once more and leave the girl to her own devices. However, as he was about to leave, he noticed something about his vision. He closed his left eye, the world was seen through an almost unnoticeable hue of orange. He repeated by closing his right eye, no hue.

He left, coloured-contact lense had fallen out during the collision. He quickly turned around and began scanning the area for his contact lense. Sure, he didn't need them for sight, but he felt they made him look more friendly than his natural cold, blue eyes.

As he kept looking, he peaked over his shoulder to look at the girl once more.

"Can I have some help looking for an amber-coloured contact lense? Last time I lost one, my mother was mad enough I thought she'd blast me away with Depulso. I can't risk losing it."

He looked traumatised upon mentioning his mother's anger. He then snapped his head back to the girl. His, now, mismatched blue and amber eyes
watching her wile she answered.

"Well?"

The time has come for the two to part ways, or so Tracey thought. Klynn even said that he was going to leave, Tracey was sad that they couldn't talk more, but then again realized that not everyone likes nature, and guessed that Klynn didn't like nature at all, since he was leaving.

She saw Klynn turn around, most likely to enter the castle, but then she saw him stop. Now, she's confused. She wasn't sure why the boy had stopped and also didn't want to.
"Maybe he forgot something, or when we bumped into each other something must've fallen. But, I didn't see anything at all," Tracey thought.
She was about to ask if anything was wrong, when she saw Klynn turn around she knew what he was looking for. As a metamorphmagi, she knew very well that changes to the eye or hair can be made with strong emotions while one can't control it that well, but Tracey knew that Klynn probably was wearing contacts and he had lost his left eye contact. And when he spoke, she got her answer right away.
"Sure! Though, I-I think your eyes look cool like that," Tracey says.
She wasn't sure if he'd take the compliment in a good or bad way, but she had just stated the truth. After she had spoken, she began looking for Klynn's contact lense that he had lost. Tracey was glad that she has good eye sight, since she found the lense and said,
"I-I think I found it,"

Klynn looked all over the ground trying to find his lost contact before he hears Tracey found it. He looks over and saw the amber lense in her hand. He pulls out a case and takes the contact, seeing it's going to need a clean later, and places it into the case before putting it back in his pocket.

He looks back at Tracey, with his now heterochromatic eyes, and offers a slightly (almost unnoticeable) look. "Thanks. These things are very hard to get from what my parents tell me. That and it's not every day someone tries to help me find them."

Klynn gives a small smile and turns away to start walking away. He stops a few steps away and turns his head back to the girl.

"Also, yes. We may bump into each other again. But, if we do, I'm going to help you work on that stutter. I can't have you sounding nervous when you're around me, otherwise I may get the idea you're uncomfortable around me."

He turns back around and lifts his hand in a goodbye motion before finally making his way back into the castle. Who knows, maybe that girl will end up breaking down his harsh shell after all.

Tracey picked up the lense, since she knew it'd be easier to give it to Klynn and waited for him to come over to where she was and take it. She saw him take out a case which she knew was for the lense, since it was dirty and would need a cleaning before Klynn would wear it. Tracey saw Klynn look at her and she was trying to see if he had shown any emotion, but she didn't really see any emotion from him. She then heard him speak. She nodded her head before saying,
"I-I'm pretty sure they cost a lot of money. I-I guess you-your glad I was nice enough to help you find them. No-normally people wouldn't help anyone find something, b-but I like to help,"
After she had said that, she saw Klynn offer her a small smile, and she smiled back. She then saw him turn around to walk away, but before he had walked closer to the doors of the castle, she saw him turn around and heard him speak. She nodded her head again before saying,
"I-I'm not uncomfortable. I-I'm just shy. V-very shy. B-but I-I''l try my best to stop my stuttering! Tho, it might not be easy, but I could give it a try!"
After Tracey had said that, she saw Klynn turn around and also saw him wave goodbye to her. She waved goodbye back and started fighting with her head, since her inner self was telling her to stop Klynn from going, but she didn't want to. She gave up and was about to say something, but then realized that Klynn had disappeared.
"Looks like I'm too late. He already went inside of the castle," Tracey thought.

It's been a few days since Klynn last saw that stuttering girl and now he's back where they met: the courtyard. He was walking around reading a book on Defence Against the Dark Arts and was therefore not paying attention as to where he was going. To that point, he found himself in a familiar situation as a few days ago: bumping into somebody else. However, almost as if expecting that to happen, he quickly grabbed the person's hand and stops them from falling (barely).

He sighed as he said, "Twice in a week, just my luck. Sorry about that."

He looked at the person he bumped into and saw a familiar face: Tracey Bailey. He was shocked to see that it was the person he had bumped into a few days ago; what were the chances? He did notice that she changed her hair, so she did look slightly different to when he saw her last.

"Oh, hello again. Did you dye your hair?"

He looked at her as he waited for her response, and while waiting, he couldn't help but pay attention to her a bit more than last time. He felt weird for doing so as he never really paid much attention to others without a reason, and yet, he couldn't seem to find one for her.
