Euphrasia Millie had been extremely excited to start a year at Hogwarts. After all, it was the famous Hogwarts, and offered a fantastic curriculum. But, the nerdy Gryffindor had never expected an amazing library along with it. It had every magical book Euphrasia could think of! There were even some muggle books. At least the library was inclusive.

However, excitement had completely overcome the girl, and she was seen spending almost all of her time inside the library, just looking at all the amazing books. If she kept up like this, Euphrasia would have read almost all of the library by the time the end of the school year came around. However, Euphrasia was a quick reader, if she skipped a few pages.

It was just after classes, right when all the students were let out to go to their common rooms, or to go and get some sunshine, or to even attend more classes. Euphrasia, and a few other students, were already inside the library, it seems as Euphrasia had ran to the library. The rumors were indeed, true. However, Euphrasia had not only run, she had sprinted and fell twice. But the Gryffindor girl was pleased she had made it to the library before anyone else.

When she had looked around the library, which had plenty of people in it, she continued to the next shelf.

"Huh. Reminds me of dad," She had thought aloud, pulling a book off of the shelf. The title was, 'Famous Wizarding Figures.'

"It's before 1950. I wonder who's in it," Euphrasia had subconsciously said aloud. It was a recipe for disaster in the quiet library.

Min-seo walked into the library for the fifth time that day, her heels clicking softly through the library. She might have composed herself at the moment, but she was extremely stressed. Homework homework homework. She had many books and papers in her hands and she walked over to the study desks. She quietly plopped down in a chair, before she looked through her books. She forgot one. God dang it. SHe let out a long sigh, getting more aggravated. She got up. She loved the library so much, but she didn't really have the mentality to love it fully at the moment. She was sure that there were more copies of the book that she could find, but that took up time, and at the moment, Min-seo NEEDED TO WORK ON THESE OR SHE WASN'T GOING TO FINISH! Her heels clicked on the hardwood floor once again as she scanned the shelves for the book. She kept on looking while people were staring at the fuming girl. She ignored them (for once in her life) and found the book she was looking for, and returned to her seat. She opened her book and started to read it. But of course, her relief wouldn't last. She heard a girl that was close talk quite loudly. Min-seo rolled her eyes. She usually wouldn't let this faze her, but today was an exception. She tried to keep working, but the girl wouldn't shut up. She closed her book and glared at the girl who was dressed in Griffyndor robes. She stood up and walked over to her. "Excuse me, would you mind keeping your voice down? This is a library, for one, and plus, some of us are studying and need quiet." she said, trying not to sound rude.

Euphrasia snapped her head up when she heard someone else's voice ring through her ears. She had, at first, ignored the girl. However, when the anger finally boiled through her bloods, making her veins set on fire, she turned around snappishly.

"Oh, I'm sorry I was disturbing your quiet time." Euphrasia snapped. The girl's fierce tone was directed straight towards the girl who had tried to defy her.

The girl's strong violet eyes were filled with rage. The only person who could tell her off so rudely, was her mother. Or any of the professors. But Euphrasia would not take orders from some Snakehead girl in her Slytherin robes.

Euphrasia slid the book that was in her hand in her bag, and continued to angrily search through the shelf, letting her American accent slip in. She was fueled with rage. But everything about it was so stupid. She was simply told to quiet down, but Euphrasia hated being told what to do. Everything about the scenario was stupid but the eleven year old was not recognizing it.

Euphrasia tugged on her long black hair and muttered something under her breath. Anybody could tell it was rage. She continued saying the same thing over and over again, until her voice could have been clearly heard.

"Snakehead Slytherin's are so annoying." She snapped aloud.

Min-seo looked at the girl. Her usually soft golden-brown eyes turned hard as she looked at her. When Min was mad, she was terrifying. Min scoffed. My quiet time? This is a library. It' supposed to be quiet here, not randomly speaking about things out loud may I mention." she said. She didn't even ask her to be quiet rudely. The other girl was just being uptight. Min-seo rarely got mad at people, but this girl was so disrespectful. Min-seo had a thing with respect. It was just her thing, passed from her parents. In South Korea, they highly valued respect. It didn't seem so for whoever this American girl was. Min-seo scoffed and went back to her seat, trying to get work done, but it was impossible. She was fuming. She ran a hand through her black hair. Having this mentality wasn't going to get her anywhere. She took a few deep breaths and continued to work, slightly calmed down after that incident. She couldn't let that silly discussion faze her. It was just a girl being stubborn. But then she heard words that made her even more enraged. Min-seo slammed her book down on the table and looked back at the rude girl. "You're one of those people that judge Slytherins just on the bad traits that some of them did, aren't you? Lovely." She said sarcastically. She went back to the desk and packed up her things. "If you want to scream at me, go ahead, but at least NOT in the library," she said as she stormed out of the library.

Euphrasia scoffed at the girls reaction. While the Gryffindor girl was blunt and arrogant, the Slytherin girl had just made her anger boil up. It felt like her head was on fire. Rage, spewing through her violet eyes, but they looked more red now. A lot less like a beautiful purple-pink, but more like blood, and violence.

But Euphrasia wasn't a violent person. She had a confident personality, and it was hard to let someone pierce through her skin like that. But she definitely hated being told she was wrong. Euphrasia's only pet peeve.

Maybe there was a difference between pride and confidence. Or maybe Euphrasia just had a high, snappish ego. Either way, Euphrasia wasn't going to let some mean, ugly, stupid Slytherin get in her way. But she couldn't help but think of the other way things might've turned out.

If Euphrasia had just apologized and introduced herself, things might've turned out differently, and the Gryffindor girl might've made a brand new friend. Instead, Euphrasia's ego got in the way and she became nasty and cold.

Euphrasia tempted the idea to run to the girl and apologized, but she thought against it. She didn't want to be seen as soft and weak, but she also didn't want to seem like an angry, overemotional, judgmental baby.

Huffing, Euphrasia checked out her books and left the library. This event would be etched into her mind for forever.
