Appearance: Phelan has ocean blue eyes and chocolate brown hair. His skin is pale. He is tall for his age, and skinny, causing him to be a little clumsy. His hair is either absurdly messy or neat, there is no in between.

Personality: Most people would not exactly say Phelan is likable. He is aloof and makes little to no effort to start up conversation with those he doesn’t know. When he does talk to you, he tends to be a little intense, at worst, rude. Despite this, he cares deeply about his loved ones and once you have his trust, you have it forever.

History: Phelan was born on January 22, 2011, on a stormy night in Athenry, Ireland. Though he was born in Athenry, he spent his first seven years in Galway. The Emile family moved to Athenry after his mother’s great aunt passed away, when they inherited her big country house. He grew up very wealthy. He is the oldest of five children, and he has four younger sisters, Cecile (8), Nicolette (9), Aine (2), and Elodie (6). As a young child he spent most of his time with his family and his best friend and neighbor, Matilde my PC . He officially met Matilde when they were eight at Irish dance class, even though they were already neighbors and their mothers were friends from school. The two didn’t like each other right away, but they eventually realized how much they had in common and have been inseparable ever since. He lived in Athenry until he was ten years old, when he moved to Paris. His mother, Aine Emile (nee Burke) was an Irish, muggleborn witch. She went to Hogwarts and was in Gryffindor house. She passed away when Phelan was eight years old. She was very sick for a long time as a result of being cursed in her teenage years (which he doesn’t know about). Phelan took his mother’s death very hard and it has affected him a lot. His father, something Emile, comes from a wealthy, french pureblood family. They don’t have the best relationship, probably because they are very similar. Phelan has a cat named Mumford. He showed up on the Emile’s doorstep, a tiny, scraggly kitten, the morning after his mother died. He named him Mumford in honor of his mother, for one of her favorite bands. Mumford hates nearly everyone, including Something Emile, except for Phelan, his sister Nicolette, Matilde, and a few other random individuals with seemingly no connection. Phelan was not allowed to take him to Beauxbaton because his father was afraid he’d terrorize the other students. He speaks French with a strong Irish accent and despite learning it most of his life, he is not very good at speaking it. He enjoys writing poetry even though he’s really embarrassed about it, plants, and the ocean. He is in house bellefeuille at Beauxbaton.

T H E SO’ F I O N N A G A N S

Matilde is most familiar with this, her maternal grandmother’s side of the family. Their farm is the ancestral home of this clan. The O’Fionnagans are Irish, through and through. Through they have never been conservative about bloodline, they would be considered pureblood for all intents and purposes. Red hair and green eyes are commonly occurring. They have a strong tradition of matriarchs, and more modernly, often make the choice to keep their last name and give it to their children. The Sight runs through the blood of the O’Fionnagans.

The Foleys are Irish muggles. Though Matilde has met very few members of her maternal grandfather’s side, she knows much about them from her grandfather’s many stories. The Darres hail from Norway, where most of them still live. They are very wealthy and also pureblood, and are more attentive to this fact than the O’Fionnagans. They are mostly blond with blue and brown eyes. There is an unusual number of seers in the Darre family.

Matilde has very little contact with her paternal grandfather’s side. This is mostly due to the poor relationship her father had with his dad. She knows that they are Irish, and as non-magic as it gets.

T H E SC A S S I D Y S

The Cassidys are Irish muggles. Although, the Cassidy family is partly the reason Matilde is a seer. Though she had no way of knowing that her father’s great-great-grandmother was a witch, and a seer. Her name was Bridget Isobell Gallagher. She fell in love with and married a muggle by the name of Cassidy. Eventually she gave birth to a son, but unfortunately, when the boy was only three years old, both Bridget and her husband contracted dragon pox and passed away. The boy went to live with his muggle uncle, who didn’t know that his sister in law was a witch. The boy never found out who he was, because he never exhibited magic. Even so, he passed on the seer gene to his ancestors, and eventually, Matilde

Matilde grew up on a small sheep farm on the edge of the town of Athenry, co. Galway, Ireland. She loves it more than anything else in the world. She knows each of the thirty-something sheep by name. Her farm is also home to an owl, dog, donkey, and a few chickens. She is often called “Tilly” or “Tills” by those close to her. Her full name is Matilde Sinead Foley O’Fionnagan. She has one brother, Martyn, who is a fifth year Ravenclaw at hogwarts. Her mother, Freja O’Fionnagan, is a pure blood and a seer. She was a Ravenclaw while at hogwarts. She runs the sheep farm that has been in their family for generations. Tilly’s father, Rian Foley is a muggle. He co-owns a school of Irish dancing in Galway with his sister, Tilly’s aunt. Tilly loves to dance and when she isn’t outside with her pets or practicing one of her many hobbies she spends a lot of time there. Most of her friends are from dance because she is homeschooled. Her closest friend is Phelan (Fin), a wizard born boy she met through Irish dancing. In the January before Tilly started her first year, he moved to France and now goes to Beauxbatons. She used to be close with her cousin, Eileen, who is two years older, but ever since Eileen went to Hogwarts, their relationship hasn’t been the same. Because she is a half-blood, Tilly’s upbringing has been pretty equally magical and non-magical. She sometimes finds it somewhat hard to fit into either world as a result.

Matilde’s magic first showed itself when she was four years old. Upon trying to reach a cup on a high shelf, she knocked it to the floor without touching it.

Interior You step through the front door into the main room. It is large, and seems to function as both a living room and dining room. Directly in front of you is a large stone fireplace. On the mantle is a small bowl of floo powder, and a painting of a girl with long red hair. If you were to flip over the painting, you would see the initials “A O” and unreadable numbers, likely a date. On the hearth, there is a ratty and faded, but still colorful old wool rug. You notice that the furniture is mismatched except for the chairs at the table, which are carved with quaint vines. The table is large, and could uncomfortably seat eight. On the wall to the left, there is an overfilled bookcase reaching almost to the ceiling. Beside it, a record player, the kind with the protruding trumpet-like device. You open the door beside the bookcase. Description here. The ladder leads to a loft bedroom. In the center is a full sized wood-framed bed with a many colored quilt and a knitted, purple, wool blanket. On one wall is a chalk-blue wardrobe. If you were to flip over the painting, you would see the initials “A O” and unreadable numbers, likely a date. On the hearth, there is a ratty and faded, but still colorful old wool rug.
