I Just Don't Get It
Mariela rushed into the library as soon as the professor of Charms dismissed the class. Mariela was very confused about a spell they had just learned. It was the simplest of spells to learn. So simple that even the worst person at doing charms in the class was able to do the spell correctly and on their first try. But for whatever reason, Mariela just couldn't seem to get the spell right. Sure she wasn't the best one at charms and it always took her a few tries but she always was able to do the spell they learned before the professor dismissed the class. Why couldn't get it this time she didn't know. She just didn't get it. So she decided to do what every stereotypical Ravenclaw student did...
She went to the library to figure it out.
First, she started with a small stack of books about the spell and how she could complete it better. Once she realized she couldn't get it, she tried looking for different books but ended up getting distracted by another book that had just the most interesting information about another charm. One thing led to another and in the end, Mariela was buried in a pile of books. Anybody walking by could've just assumed somebody had been too lazy to put their books away but if you looked closer, you could see Mariela's small form in between all of those books. She was so concentrated on a book that she didn't realize poking their head in to check on her.

I Just Don't Get It
Dianne Lovett was sitting in the library writing her potions essay, which was quite difficult as she couldn't keep her concentration. It was an easy assignment, which made it so boring. When she dreamt of going to Hogwarts she didn't think she would be writing a full page on the properties of eye of Newt. There were a ton of things she would rather be doing at this very moment.
Dianne was never good at sitting still, even when she was younger her parents (playfully) threatened her with a body bind curse whenever they were out in public. She shook her head. She had to finish this essay. She dipped her dry quill in the ink bottle and began to write again, only this time writing turned to doodling, time passed and Dianne began to drift off, closing her eyes briefly. She startled awake and looked around hoping no one noticed.
She stood up and started gathering her things, maybe she should go take a nap before attempting the paper again. She was about to leave when she spotted a mound of books. Even Dianne knew better than to leave books out. She picked up a book and discovered a girl hidden amongst the mess.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize someone was in here."

Mariela had been so deeply interested in her book about an amazing growing plant that she didn't hear the girl talking to her until she spoke again. She looked up a bit startled and frowned a bit what she said. How could she not have seen her? Mariela looked around her self and sighed softly to herself, realizing that she was pretty much buried in books. "Oh um no um- It's my fault. I'm sorry. I was trying to look for a book that could help me with a spell I'm having trouble on but then I got side tracked and I started looking at other books and uh... nevermind. I'm sorry. I'll pick all of the books don't worry," she said as she stood up and was about to pick up the books but accidentally ended up dropping a few. She sighed a bit and leaned down to pick up the books.
"Sorry. I'm a bit clumsy sometimes," she said with a small chuckle as she started to pick up the books she had dropped. She felt embarrassed that their introduction had started off this bad. "I'm Mariela by the way," she said as she realized that she hadn't introduced herself to the girl.
