Finished Weeds with bestie pv Reyna Evergreen

I had decided to force myself this October to do the errand. Weeds. Pulling weeds. Why had I decided to do it? Well one, it was technically a social event. Reyna could look on the bright side. And it would earn her a house point! A reward which her house would desperately need. She was also a Hufflepuff and she was a kind person in general. So that was why she had found herself out and about pulling weeds this October morning.
She had a bag with her and began to pull weeds. Later on, she saw another figure enter the Grounds. LINDA! Her bestie of course. Reyna decided that she would take a short break for a little while and go up to her friend. At this point, Linda had started pulling weeds. Dragging her bag full of weeds with her I tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey bestie! Need a bag to put those weeds?" I asked.
I smiled and she also smiled. I knew it would be a fun day even if we had to pull weeds. We continued to pull the weeds together sharing a bag. I looked around at the Grounds. Slowly, by slowly we were helping clean up the place. I smiled. I didn't regret coming here anymore. It was fun just as I had convinced myself it would be.

I smiled as Linda said yes happy that I could do this with a friend. We continued pulling at the weeds occasionally chatting about a few things here and there. Linda then asked me how I had been and that she missed me. I smiled once again.
"Awww. I missed you too! I've been great just busy with classes and all. How are you?" I asked. Later on, we stood up to admire our work. Some of the Grounds had been cleared, actually most of it. Linda then asked if what we had was enough and if we could continue to walk and spend time together even if we were done.
I grinned. "I think we've done our job! It should be sufficient. And yes, I'd love to take a walk!! We could walk to the Great Lake and catch up. Wait I have a better idea! I baked some sweets a few days back for a club meeting and I decided to leave them in my dorm for a while. We could bring our kitties and have a picnic!" I said grinning at my great idea.
I hoped Linda would say yes because I wanted to hang out with her. She was my bestie and we hadn't seen each other for a little while. Now, we could spend the day together and have fun. That would truly be one of the best days ever.

"Okay!!! This is going to be great!" I grinned.
I pulled at the last weeds on the ground enjoying the fresh air and the silence with my best friend. It wasn't easy and it required a lot of strength to pull out. Luckily, there were four hands here instead of two. And plus many others spread out across the Grounds. The roots went pretty deep which was why it was hard to pull them out.
I then stood up. We were basically done now. I was really excited for the picnic now.
"Well, I guess we're basically done now right? And yes we can meet in 15 minutes near the entrance hall and then we can go to the Great Lake together!" I smiled at her.

I grinned. I couldn't wait for the picnic to start. I stepped back and admired our work. I nodded my head and waved at her. "See you in 15 minutes!" I yelled and raced to my dorm room to get my cat and the food. I decided I would also change my clothes as they were dirty from our hard work.
