Author's note
Dear readers, thank you for picking up this book I made. I want to remind those who are reading that this is a work of fiction, the students in the story are not real and any name similarities are coincidental. There were no explorations made into the Forbidden Forest for the purpose of this book. Instead the knowledge for this book was obtained from other books relating to the haunting Forbidden Forest found within Hogwarts. I hope that you enjoy the book and won't find it boring. You can send your support or constructive feedback by sending me an owl.

For those interested in how I came up with the idea for this book, I heard of teachers telling students not to venture into the Forbidden Forest and enforced these rules with punishment. I heard stories about the Forest, and so I decided I wanted to make a story that would hopefully be enjoyable for all of Hogwarts to enjoy. It doesn't matter what year you are, because even if you're older than me, this book should still be an enjoyable read.

The last thing I want to mention is that although the creatures I have mentioned in this book are very well real beasts you can find if you explore, some of these beasts are completely fictional and were created for the general purpose of this book.

Into the Forbidden Forest
A Promising Year
Jordan's eyes snapped opened, he swiftly got up, the blanket still around his shoulder. Parts of the blanket fell to the floor, as Jordan checked the time. "Oh snap-! MOM-!" Jordan shouted, his foot stepping over parts of the blanket and slipping and crashing down onto the floor, creating a loud thud. Jordan had no time to properly worry about that though, he hastily threw the blanket onto the bed, and quickly got out of his pajamas and put on a black t-shirt and some jeans. Jordan hastily put two white socks onto his feet, as he glanced at the room hastily. The room was no tidy, action figures of wizards and witches were scattered near the closet, the bed looked tidy expect that the blanket was messily thrown on it, only half of the blanket rested on the bed, the other half rested on the floor. Jordan's eyes rested on the shelf, there was his Chocolate Frog collection, a few pictures, and his toothbrush. Jordan ran over loudly to the shelf to grab the toothbrush before he left the room to enter the restroom. The restroom had a bathtub, a sink, and a toilet, candles lit up the bathroom instead of the normal light bulb. Jordan was not bothered by this fact at all and hastily brushed his teeth as footsteps could be heard approaching the restroom at a rapid pace. "Jordan! Quit with all of that noise right now! Hurry up before you're late!" A woman's voice said with a clear tone of urgency in it. "Okay mom!" Jordan replied back, brushing his teeth even quicker. Jordan ran down the stairs as quickly as possible, and was greeted by his annoyed mother. "What did I just tell you about making noise?!" She asked. "Right, right, but mom! I am going to be late to the Hogwarts Express at this rate!" Jordan replied hastily, rushing towards a table with a few chairs. As Jordan took the chair out from underneath the table, his mother replied. "Yes, but you can do that without all of the noise. Hurry up and eat, do you have your things packed?" Jordan's mother asked, as Jordan stuffed his mouth with food. Jordan nodded his head, making a few muffled sounds of agreement as he finished his food. "Okay, I'll wait for you!" Jordan's mother said. As Jordan rushed up the stairs, he could hear the incantation "Incendio." which was his mom as the sound of fire meeting wood filled in what would otherwise be silence. Jordan quickly grabbed his backpack and rushed to his mother who had put a bit of Floo Powder into the fire, Jordan watched the flames turn green. As Jordan approached the fire, stepping into it. He clearly and firmly said "Platform nine and three quarters." Jordan found himself in front of the Hogwarts Express. "Feels good to be back." Jordan said, he heard flames and turned around as his mother appeared. She was most-likely here to give her last goodbyes before Jordan would be living at Hogwarts for a few months. Jordan's mother stretched her arms out for a hug, and Jordan hugged her before pulling away, knowing that the Hogwarts Express was going to start moving and would leave any minute now. Jordan swiftly entered the Hogwarts Express, outside of the train, near the entrance where Jordan and his mother had just hugged each other goodbye, he heard his mom's voice. "Stay safe, okay?" She said as the train slowly began to move. "Don't worry mom, I will!" Jordan called back to his mother, but he felt like she didn't hear him. The train moved quicker, and it would soon lead them to Hogwarts. Jordan was ready to face whatever challenges his third year would have for him. Jordan looked around the Hogwarts Express, this always felt awkward. He brushed back some of his brown hair and looked into the reflection of the glass. His blue eyes, white skin, the tiny mole under his left eye, and a little bit of freckles. He needed to make this year different, he would make another friend right here on the Hogwarts Express for a change, there was no reason to go wait to actually go to Hogwarts this time around.

Jordan looked around, it was empty. Jordan would have to find a seat for himself, but he reminded himself that he wanted to make a few friends on the train for once. Jordan decided to look at the nearest compartment, it was full of children, no room for Jordan unfortunately. Jordan decided to look in the next compartment, same story as the first compartment. The third compartment was nearly empty, aside from a blond girl and a boy with ginger hair. Jordan decided to enter the compartment. "Hello... am I interrupting something?" Jordan asked. The blonde girl looked slightly older than Jordan, maybe she was in her fifth or fourth year at Hogwarts. She had light blue eyes that felt oddly calming to look at. The ginger-haired boy seemed a year younger than Jordan, perhaps he was in his second or first year at Hogwarts. "Hm?" The blonde girl replied, turning around to look at Jordan. "Oh, not at all. You can sit with us if you like." The girl said, gesturing to a nearby open seat. The blond boy remained silent, Jordan could imagine that he was probably shy. "My name is Sally, what's your name?" Sally asked Jordan. "Oh, my name is Jordan." Jordan said, extending his hand for a handshake, which Sally happily accepted. She seemed energetic. "...I'm Blake." Blake said, blankly looking at Jordan. "Oh well, nice to meet you Blake!" Jordan said, extending his hand, there was an awkward ten second pause before Blake finally shook Jordan's hands, but somehow even that felt odd. "Don't mind him, he is usually shy around new people." Sally said with a big smile on her face, to Jordan it seemed she could turn just about anything positive. Jordan looked outside of the compartment window, the outside looked empty, it probably would've had a lonely feeling to it as well. Meanwhile being here with Blake and Sally gave off a happy feeling. This would be his chance to make some friends on the Hogwarts Express.

The conversation now began!
Jordan decided to ask the most standard question that came to his head. "So what house are you guys in?" Jordan asked. "I am in Ravenclaw." Jordan decided to include, which got him a glare from Blake. "Excellent. Another Ravenclaw." Blake said, glaring at Jordan. Sally nudged Blake a little, Jordan was just confused. "Sorry about that!" Sally said, patting Blake's shoulder, which Blake scooted away in his seat muttering "...Don't touch me." Sally blankly looked at Blake for a few seconds before giving Jordan an apologetic smile. "Don't mind him, he doesn't have the best history with Ravenclaw." Sally said to Jordan, which Jordan nodded in understanding. "No offense taken." Jordan said. Blaked muttered something inaudible under his breath. Sally seemed to either not hear him or just simply not try to confront Blake about it. "Anyways, I am in Hufflepuff just like my friend Blake." Sally exclaimed excitedly. "...I can speak for myself...." Blake said, Jordan watched Sally open her mouth in an attempt to respond, but Blake continued before she could let out a word. "I don't need you constantly telling other people about me, that's only my business." Blake said. Jordan began to wonder if Blake was always like this. "Right, right. I forgot. I am sorry Blake, can you forgive me?" Sally asked, facing Blake. There was a weird 12 second pause. "...Fine." Blake said, Jordan felt awkward as another 10 second moment of silence occurred. "....I'm sorry as well..." Blake said quietly. There was another awkward silence, and Jordan felt the need to try and start conversation again, but then the compartment door opened to reveal a girl with long brown hair and green eyes enter the room. She wore a black jacket with two white stripes to each side, long black pants, and black shoes. A nearly completely black outfit. Jordan also noticed that she wore glasses as well. She looked around Jordan's age, so she might've also been in her third year. "Glad to have made it." The mysterious girl said out loud, as the engine could be heard and the train finally began moving. Everybody was looking at the new stranger, and the conversation would continue. All with Blake turning to look at the girl and giving her a look of disgust. "Great. It's you."
