"Isn't very helpful?" Zach wondered what that meant. All he knew was magic was indeed very useful. It was practical. Then he nodded at Hannah's answer about the owl as the way wizards communicate with each other.

"Outsider?" Zach thought for some seconds. He actually didn't feel like an outsider. Or was he actually an outsider? He tried to recall. The only time he had a hard time living in the Muggle World was telling stories about school at his mom. But luckily, she was understanding enough to hear his babble about Hogwarts so he didn't feel left out. "Actually, no. My mother seemed to accept all my stories about Hogwarts, except the fact that I started duelling. She disagreed with me about doing it since it's not safe. Well, she's not completely wrong." He stopped for a moment then continued, "But I keep doing duelling. In secret." The boy lowered his voice, "My mom doesn't know about it."

"Ooh yeah! You mentioned about cellphone before. But I don't have many phone numbers either. Just my mom, grandpa, grandma, and some friends in church that I rarely talk to." The boy nodded.

"I can visit your house?" Zach was excited. He wanted to learn more about the Wizarding household. But he wondered if his mom allowed him to go far. "I will ask my mom. I hope she allows me to join you for Christmas. And... Ball? It's my second time hearing about the ball. Is it the culture of Wizards to hold the ball? Like a party? Do wizards like party?"

Zach imagined what would happen if he could join Hannah for Christmas. Maybe he could bring his phone so he could add Hannah's number. And about the ball, he actually was not sure if he would enjoy it. But the first thing he must do was ask his mom's permission.

Zach looked at the book in front of him, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. His mind was wandering. He calculated how many hours or days he could spend to finish this book. He was excited to see what's inside. He just hoped he could some material for his club. Some plants that had medical properties and and safe. "'Safe' was the most important," thought the boy that kept duelling as his interest.

The boy looked at Hannah and asked, "So, do you have any plan after this?"

Zach seemed pretty honest about his answers, and Hannah liked that. She also observed his body language and it seemed like he was pretty comfortable. She was too.

"Well, that's nice! Oh, cool. My parents know about Quidditch even though they weren't too supportive, but he was a beater here at Hogwarts, so he couldn't complain. I agree, it's not completely safe but it's all about having fun, isn't it?" she asked. She heard him talking about cellphones.

"That's nice! I don't have many phone numbers, because, well, most witches don't have phones and I rarely use it, so.. there isn't a big point of having it." she told him.

She heard him ask about balls, and she nodded. There had been a few balls at Hogwarts, and Hannah preferred the balls at the school, since she had all of her friends. "Okay! So, we have many spare rooms at home and I'm sure my parents will allow it!" "And, I guess you can say it that way.. Well it's kind of a tradition, wizards love balls. I don't, but still, I manage to have some fun." then Hannah had a thought: Mental note: convince mom and dad to let Zach join us at the ball, and tell them that he's a pure-blood.

"Plans? Not really. I think I might read a bit and study, or go to the Great Lake or something. How about you?" she asked.

Zach sometimes had this thought, what if he was born in a magical family? It looked like it would make his life easier. He felt a little bit envious of Hannah when he told him about his father being a beater in his school years. Then she responded to the talk about the cell phone. He was thinking to bring some Muggle things that might wizards might not have. His coming over would be like a private Muggle Studies for Hannah.

Wizards love balls. Zach seldom saw Muggle arranging a ball unless it was a special occasion like a wedding. He was a competitive ballroom dancer but he couldn't call his competition a ball. So it should be a very interesting experience for him. "Uh-uh," The boy nodded. "Maybe you can tell me further what should I prepare before I go to your house. Well, not now. Maybe when the ball is nearing," he said. The chance of him forgetting about what he should prepare is very high. He wouldn't risk that.

"Study?" One thing he learnt about Hannah. She's studious. Who is studying in the Sunday morning? "Uh... I think I also don't have anything today. So I will read these books of yours. I will stay here with you if you don't mind," he said. Well, he might learn more about Hannah if they were there together.
