Physical Description: Winter has shoulder-length, dirty blond hair, with the ends dyed neon green. They have grey eyes. They are about 4'6". While in the muggle world, they wear graphic t-shirts, ripped jeans, and sneakers.
Mental Description: Winter is very introverted, but still enjoys making friends and hanging out with those close to them. They are a bit stand-offish when they first meet people, but over time, they will warm up, and become a loyal and close friend. They enjoy reading, sitting by the lake, learning, and hanging out. Most of their time is spent in the woods hiking or sitting on the tree line.
History/Background Story: Winter Sol is a muggle-born, born in Northampton, England, on the night of March 28, 2012, to her parents Henry and Eileen. They have two younger siblings: Aaron and WIll, both of whom Winter is very close to. They spent their entire life in the city of Northampton before receiving their letter to Hogwarts. Growing up, Winter did not have many friends, but those they did have they kept close. They had enjoyed their muggle primary school immensely, despite the struggles in social interactions. They tried hard in both their academic and social life, ultimately exceeding in one and failing at the other. They were awkward, avoided eye contact, and were extremely blunt at times, warding kids away. Despite this, Winter would try nevertheless. Without friends at school, Winter relied on their two brothers for company, leading to their extremely close bond. The three were often seen hanging out or playing games of tag with each other by the neighborhood park. Winter's parents also maintained a close bond with Winter, the whole family going for walks through the neighborhood together. Winter also had a deep connection with nature, loving to take long hikes on family vacations or even going to zoos to just see what nature had to offer. Despite the love they had received at home, Winter had always felt different. Once they received their Hogwarts letter, Winter was elated, an explanation at last of all the strange things that had happened around them, why they were always different from others. Winter's parents were shocked, of course, by the news, but were ultimately happy for their child and the possibilities their future may hold.
First Incident of Magic: Winter's first incidence of magic happened at the age of 3. They were swinging on the swing set on the neighborhood swing set. Their parents were sitting over at a nearby bench keeping an eye on Winter and their siblings. Winter, mid-swing, caught sight of a flower blooming. Winter ended up causing themselves to float down back to the ground safely, down in front of the flower. Luckily, their parents had not noticed what had happened.
