First Year Carriage
Jade listened intently to the conversation around her. "Yea, Auroras are commonly known for catching Dark Wizards and witches. I think whoever attacked Mr Gills house might have waited till he was out of the house on purpose" Jade added, looking out the window Jade could see some beautiful fields, it was getting close to sunset. Jade decided that maybe she should change the subject seeing as this one was starting to slow down and was getting a bit depressing. Jade racked her mind and came across Quidditch and flying, Jade had never been allowed to fly. Her parents seemed to think something horrible was going to happen if she did. "Do any of you play Quidditch? Well, I suppose you wouldn't know what it is Lilac, no offence. Quidditch is a game played on brooms, the flying brooms from fairy tales. basically there are four balls, the main one is the quaffle, there are three people on each team who try to get it through the other teams hoops, kinda like soccer, or football. Then there are the bludgers, they just fly around trying to knock people off their brooms, there are two of them and two beaters hit them away from their teammates and towards the other team with big baseball bat like things. The last ball is a tinny gold ball called the golden snitch, it flys around and is very hard to see. a seeker trys to catch it, there is one seeker on each team, when the golden snitch is caught the game is over and the team that caught it gets an additional 150 points. I hope that wasn't too confusing....." Jade trailed off at the end realising how confusing that would probably have been for the others. well, now you've done it, you've made a fool of yourseflf infront of these girls, well done me. Jade thought to herself. "Either way Quidditch is a very fun and popular sport in the wizarding world"
