Delilah stepped out of class this afternoon feeling as happy as ever. It was raining ! She loved the rain – its cool touch, the earthy scent it brought. She changed into comfy and warm clothes in her dorm, and as she entered the common room. Her attention was diverted by the hushed conversation of younger students who were speaking of some secret passage in the dungeons or something along the lines. She couldn't quite catch their words.

But oh, how exiting it would be to have a secret passage, a place only she knows about !

With her heart racing and a cheeky smile, Delilah walked into the dungeons, her footsteps making echoes in the dimly lit halls.

Delilah's blond curls, slightly damp from the rain, clung together in a messy dance. The annoying stray coat, refusing to stay put, draped itself haphazardly over her shoulders. She frowned, irritation evident in her eyes, as the wet strands tickled her face.

The dungeons, normally spooky, felt different, like they held a secret. Delilah used her wand to light up the way, going through the twists and turns. She felt a mix of excitement and a bit of fear. The sound of raindrops on the stone walls made a musical beat, going along with her adventure.

The once foreboding dungeons now seemed alive with mystery, but fear lingered in Delilah's eyes. Her wand lit the path, yet each echo of her footsteps magnified her apprehension.

Out of the shadows, a silhouette emerged, startling Delilah. Reacting swiftly, she instinctively tossed her wand at the mysterious figure, fear in her eyes as she screamed at the top of her lungs. The wand sailed through the air, a streak of light in the dimness, aimed at the unknown presence.

She walked in moon Dust, and Stars were sprinkled in her Hair...

Hogwarts was everything he'd dreamed of and a little more. The dwindling lights at sunset dancing through the halls, the sounds of life echoing through the castle like feeble songs, the food that made his head turn, the classes. It was exhilarating to be so young and so full of life, to experience it all. And what a loss it would have been if he didn't explore Hogwarts, despite the strongly spoken rules against it all!

His steps were light as he made his way to the dungeons, his heart fluttering. Dean had many hopes for this new adventure of his: he'd heard the gentle whispers of rumours, of a secret passage carved through the stone, of candy and the faint smell of caramel. He wasn't sure of that last bit, of course, but one who did not try did not live. Looking around, a smile dancing on his lips, he felt a rush run through his veins. He hadn't been to the dungeons many times since his first night here. He didn't ever need to. His potions classes weren't held here and his common room was far, very far.

The light dimmed into a dark canvas as he made his way down, down, down. Everything grew quiet and he could hear nothing but the beat of his steps on the wet floors. It smelled like old things and decomposition, which made his skin crawl, but he powered through, his quest a lighting beacon in his mind. His eyes scanned over every wall and every nook, looking for a tell of something not-quite-right, but as he made his way deeper, he only found mice and mold crawling all around him.

After a little while, he felt defeated. Perhaps it'd been nothing more than rumours, or perhaps he just wasn't suited for the task. As he turned on his heels, he felt something amiss- there was noise, new noise, that was not there when he'd gotten through the stairs. He smiled, his hope restored and his feet shuffled rapidly towards the source of the sounds, his hand tight on his wand. As he rounded a corner, he felt his heart swell, ready to tackle a monster, a troll, a fairy, a...wand?

Dean groaned as a wooden thing hit him square in the face, right across the cheek, and he stared down as it flailed on the floor, a little dot of light emanating from him. Dumbfounded, Dean's eyes ran upwards, to a blonde thing, frightened and eyes wide, hand in the air. He paused, assessing the situation, before bursting into a fit of laughter. His hand went to his stomach, to ease the growing ache of his muscles and he doubled over, grabbing the girl's wand and holding it out for her to take. "Really? Your wand? Are there not better ways to like, attack someone, than just throwing your wand at them? Like, I don't know, a spell?" he giggled, an eyebrow cocked, a little defyingly. He assessed her colours for an instant and snorted. "You're in Gryffindor? Isn't your thing bravoury and all of that? Though I do have to give it to ya, throwing your wand is something. You hit me good too! Could have plucked an eye out, though."
