Tracey has a secret that she doesn't want to reveal to anyone at Hogwarts currently. And so far, she hasn't revealed it yet....
Tracey decided to take a walk and visit the great lake since she hasn't visited it yet and the only time she saw it was on the day of the Sorting Ceremony and that was at night and she was mostly looking at the castle amazed with how it looked.
Leaving the Ravenclaw common Tracey went down the stairs to the ground floor. She left the castle and made her way over to the Great Lake.
Walking through the grounds looking at all the nature around her made Tracey very happy. She loved the environment and anything to do with nature.
Once near the Great Lake, Tracey went closer to the lake to get a closer look at it. But while she was walking closer to the lake, somehow, Tracey tripped over air and fell right into the lake! Good thing she knows how to swim.
Tracey returned back to the surface of the water and hopped that no one had saw her, but she saw a fellow Ravenclaw walking over to her and just hopped that she didn't see her fall in, or that she wouldn't make fun of her.

Even on her best days, Renelle was not terribly fond of the well-known sport known as swimming, by any means. It was an opinion she had possessed for as long as she could remember, and the recent events of the Fall Ball had certainly not helped change this- she would not go as far as to say the evening had caused permanent scarring or anything if the sort, but it did give her a greater aversion to getting anywhere near bodies of water.

But today, she seemed to have decided to put this behind. After all, she couldn’t go about the rest of her life feeling nervous about water, and today was as good of a day as any to attempt to change this. The day’s classes had just ended, and a walk by the Great Lake felt like a nice idea.

Heading down onto the grounds, Renelle took a deep breath, taking in the crisp, fresh air. Winter could be too cold for her liking, but this was certainly a welcome change after the stuffiness of the castle.

However, it appeared that a peaceful walk was not meant to be for the Ravenclaw. Approached the lake, a most peculiar sight caught her eye- a dark-haired girl about her own age, standing near the edge of the lake. As Renelle watched, the girl seemingly tripped over air, falling straight into the depths of the water.

She may have gasped. For a second, she was frozen in place, torn between backing up and rushing forward, to check if the girl was okay. Another second later, though, the girls emerged back at the surface, dripping wet but otherwise looking fine. So she could swim, it seemed.

Before she knew it, though, her feet were carrying her to the direction of the girl. It kind of surprised her, but she supposed her traumatic experience at the Fall Ball had made her more empathetic toward drowning victims. It was not fun.

“Um, hey.” Her voice sounded a tad uncertain and nervous. “Are you all right?”

Still in the water, Tracey saw her fellow housemate in front of her. At this point, Tracey knew that her fellow housemate had seen her fall into the lake. Just then Tracey realized that Renelle was in front of her. Tracey hadn't really talked to Renelle before, but she has seen her before sometimes in the common room.
"Uh, yeah, I-I'm fine. Just tripped over nothing a fell into the lake," Tracey says answering Renelle's question.
Tracey didn't want to be in the water anymore, so she lifted herself up and got out of the lake. Once on land, she walked over to an oak tree that was close to the lake and looked down at the lake as if it was a mirror. She then saw her hair turn from black to a red color. Tracey gasped and thought,
"Oh no! Renelle will definitely see my hair and will know that I'm a metamorph! This can't be happening! What if she makes fun of me? What if she tells her friends and the whole school finds out about it?"
Tracey couldn't stop those negative thoughts from appearing in her head, but this is the very first time her ability has been showed, and Tracey had no idea what to expect from it.
