"You'd be surprised. Those whom are muggle born tend to be on her good side," she said, thinking of how intrigued Maya Galim was with Ben Eckenrode. Ben was muggle born and was so new to all things magical. It was how and why both Bloom and Ben became good friends-- she really showed him around the Wizarding World's perspective at Hogwarts.

Bloom shrugged the thought out of her mind and looked at Corvus. It seemed as though he was still a bit peeved about this whole situation and Bloom couldn't help but to think of it as her fault. It was her idea, for the most part, to go on such a restricted adventure. No one in their generational lifetime was able to get into the area as of yet. How could she have thought that she would be able to make it in?

Scrubbing her way through the layers of owl poop, Bloom let go of the scrub brush and stood up. "Let's play a game," she said, coming up with an adventurous way to get through this detention. "We can play either 'Would you Rather' or 'Truth or Dare'. It's up to you," she said, thinking of something fun and exciting to do while going about with their scrubbing. Bloom wondered if he would be in on the fun. Bloom was such a preteen. There was something about Corvus that she couldn't understand and playing games was always a fun way to get to know someone.

"What do you think?" she asked.

They could play one or the other? He would vote for neither, given the choice. His predominant personality traits were 'shy' and 'reserved,' and those two games were for people with far less scruples than his own. While scrubbing, he considered how to properly respond without offending her in some fashion.

He supposed that of the two, 'would you rather' would be better. While far from considering himself creative, it was something he could at least attempt to make work. He could learn as he went, as it were. Digging the brush into the floor a bit more firmly, he took a moment to sit back on his heels and take a deep breath.

"Let's go with 'Would you Rather.' I.... don't have the personality for Truth or Dare." This was the most adventurous he'd ever been, and it had turned out precisely how he'd expected it to. Scratching a cheek, he panned his eyes over to her, then began to scrub once more. At the very least, some of the floor might be remotely less dirty than before they'd started.

Not that he expected the professor to care. He pushed the line of thought aside - it wouldn't do him any good to dwell on it.

Games were typically a hit or miss for certain people. Bloom was not the type of person to really read the room. Her overactive imagination always had an idea and she was always quick to act on it. Scrubbing the owl droppings she began to think of a very cute and silly "Would you Rather" scenario. In a way, she was glad that Corvus chose the prior... Having to play the other game would have gotten Bloom a bit nervous as it was typically a game that shared too much information. Why she offered to play, she had no idea.

"Would you rather... spend the day with Professor Galim or spend the day getting poked by a stick?" From what Bloom could tell, Corvus was not a fan of Galim. In fact, no one was. No one knew who she was or why she was even teaching students when she obliviously didn't like kids, let alone people. She was mysterious and that was all Bloom knew.

Bloom was still very intrigued to see what he would pick. That was the point of the game, right? Wondering what someone would choose and their decisions brings out who they are and what they are thinking.

How did you pick between one and the same? That was the question at hand, so far as he was concerned. "Same thing." He mutters, digging bristle into scat with a firmness that was making his back muscles ache. Sitting back to rest a moment, feeling in his arm and shoulder the same ache that accompanies too much writing too quickly, he finds himself frowning for a moment.

Dwelling on the Professor wasn't going to improve his mood any, game or not. Not that he could ever blame Bloom for trying to keep them busy in ways other than their detention mandated scrubbing.

"Mm... stick." He replies after some more thought. "Stick can't smirk down it's nose at you." He shrugs, then shakes his head as he settles back in to continue cleaning. It was going to take yet more time to formulate a response to her question. Though, he supposed it was more a question in response to her question.

It wasn't a game he was familiar with, but it didn't make sense to have only one person interrogating, so it would stand to reason he was to interrogate next. "Would you rather," he begins, the words slow as he visibly considered what to ask, and to his complete and utter lack of surprise, he couldn't come up with anything immediately. "...carry around a screaming Mandrake on Christmas or... look like a Goblin for the Yule Ball?"

Awful. He regretted it immediately.

Shocked at his answer, Bloom's eyebrows popped up. "It is so much easier to ignore a human than a stick poking at you!" she reasoned, trying to show Corvus some sort of reality check of which option is better. Typically, both parts of the game are unrealistic, but depending on the person's perspective, there's always one side that is deemed 'better' than the other.

It was now his turn. What would he ask about? He said the beginning so slowly that it made her heart pound ever so slightly. Options were endless and he was taking his time telling the options to her. When he finally said them, she couldn't help but to give a side smile.

"Wow... Way too good," she said, thinking about each option. It was either no one would be around her for Christmas because she would be with a Mandrake or no one would want to dance with her because she would look like a hideous goblin. Out of the two, it seemed that the goblin, although atrocious, was the most viable option as it wouldn't hurt others around her.

Scrubbing the owl poop that was in front of her, she began to think of two choices that he would choose from. What could she ask him? She then thought of the perfect choices.

"Would you rather eat a can of worms or drink blood?" she asked. She kind of wanted to go the gross route rather than the embarrassing way.
