An Unforeseen Situation
“Stop it Puffy! Why must you do this every bloody week, I’m absolutely tired of it,” Jay exclaimed at a corridor pillar, looking up at a dark corner. It was an odd sight for any strangers passing by the corridor, one might have thought the green haired lad was barmy. This however, was a common recurrence for the Gryffindor insomniac. For days, Silly Puff would crawl away from the safe space of the Gryffindor dormitories and seek open corners in areas such as the castle corridors to weave webs. There have even been many troubled instances in which the arachnid had created thick webs in a Professor's desk. Those were certainly the detentions that Jay was less proud of.
Once again, Silly Puff had run off for two whole weeks and if it hadn't been for the fact that Jay caught a glimpse of black webs wrapped around the pillar, he wouldn't have ever found his pet again. He held out his hand towards the arachnid, with much sass, the spider jumped onto his hand and onto the floor. In the blink of an eye, Silly Puff quickly crawled away causing the sixth year to curse rather loudly.
Jay Victoria could never catch a break, could he? At this point, Jay didn't bother chasing after his pet in broad daylight. He proceeded to walk down the corridors, keeping his eye on Silly Puffs whereabouts who kept a steady pace a few meters away.
A crowd of first years making their way out of a class had caught his eye, he didn’t want Silly Puff to accidentally get crushed by them but unfortunately, the spider had her own plans.
Silly Puff, did the one thing she adored- jumping onto people, specifically jumping on an unsuspecting girl's face in this instance. If it had been any other day, Jay might have watched the chaos unfold in amusement but at the moment he just wanted peace. In a hurry, the sixth year reached out at the panicking girl and scooped up the spider with one hand whilst using the other to steady her shoulders. Rather than immediately cursing at his pet, Jay asked the girl, “Are you alright?”
There was absolutely no way Jay was going to deal with another detention because of a first year running off to a Professor accusing him of so called terrorizing them.

@Jay VictoriaBoston yawned. This had to be one of the most boring lessons she was forced to endure, and she noticed other students had thought so too. To her left, a student was already sleeping. Boston shook her head. No matter how tired or bored she was, she found sleeping rude. She wanted the professor to know that she was listening, otherwise they were just wasting their breath.
At this thought, she had straightened her back and told herself 3 more minutes. 3 more minutes until she could leave this class.
Those 3 minutes went by so slow, but eventually she was packing her bags slowly and stiffly. She felt like she had been sitting forever. The rest of the class spilled out of the doors and Boston followed a few feet behind them, blinking the tiredness out of her eyes. She felt like she was dreaming. Those 3 hours of sleep from playing dnd all night were catching up on her. She reached up the sleeve of her robe and pinched her arm, wincing. She needed to wake up, this feeling was uncomfortable.
She barely took noticed of a green haired student ahead of her, he looked quite taller than her. She didn't see his face. She just saw the green. That is, of course, until the student was suddenly hurrying towards her. Boston froze. What in Lord's name-? She turned her head to where the student was facing and came face to face with a big spider. It landed on her and suddenly she felt awake. Her heart lurched and she took a few step backs, waving her hands in a panic. "Jesus- mary and joseph getitoffgetitoff!" She usually was ok with bugs. But random big spiders were not her strong suit, especially not when they jumped on her.
Thats when the spider was scooped off of her and Boston finally saw the face of her savior. She caught her breath and stared for a moment, her brain processing what had just happened. She then realized she was asked a question. "Uh? oh- yeah! Yeah I'm ok" It was hard to focus when all her brain was thinking was he's kinda... Momentarily, she shook the thought away. "Thank you, by the way. Is that spider yours? That's so cool- scary but cool" She gave him a shaky smile (still shaking from the mini heart attack) She didn't want the student to walk away just yet.

An Unforeseen Situation
Habib was walking out of class with the throng of first years, when due to a series of bumps and and falls his books had fallen. He waited out the tide then went in to get his books, gathering them up and due to him tripping over his boots the book slid inbetween the legs of 2 people and ended up behind them. He saw there was some sort of altercation a head of him. There was some tall guy, although tall was a relative term considering Habib's stature and a girl who looked to be a first year. Habib debated the merits of just pushing through them. But no, for one he didn't want to be a dick, and 2 the guy looked a lot taller and could probably deck him. So he settled for diplomacy. He smoothed his clothes and said "Hello there, friends. How are you 2 doing. Ravenclaw, Gryffindor. So lovely to meet you. I would stay and chat more, really would but. My book is between you so if you cou-" Habib paused his rambling as he noticed the spider in the boy's hands. He grinned "Oh! A black webber spider, been fascinated by those. Interesting little buggers. Where'd you get it, I didn't know the menagerie sold them. Or did you get it in knockturn. Are they even legal in this country." Habib paused to breathe, noticed he was rambling, and blushed. "Ah apologies where are my manners, my name is Habib Acropolis"
