Classes were done for the week, leading into the weekend with no tests to fret over. The sky was overcast, accompanied by a chilly breeze, creating the perfect ambiance to wrap oneself in scarves and winter robes, evoking a sense of coziness.
The day had been going so exceptionally well, so that Arianna found herself drifting into a light doze during her last class. Perhaps it was due to her strategic positioning behind fellow students that provided a shield from the professor's sharp gaze. It was looking to be a pretty delightful day.
Humming, she sat in the corner of the library, white hair spilling into her eyes as she poured over Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed. It had been a gift from Lord Swann, for her birthday. It had been amazing, being one of the few gifted presents from her father. She flipped another page, only looking up when another girl sat down at her table.
Pale blond hair, glinting green eyes, expensive looking clothes.
“Havenmore. Is it?” She let out a low hum, slowly swaying back and forth.
To say Arianna was pleased about meeting with the Lilliana girl would be a massive understatement. Friday afternoons were not meant to be spent studying dull things, or were they meant to be spent in the company of people that weren't friends. Yet, here Arianna was, doing both of those things for the family name.
The message had been clear enough. Meet the Havenmore heir in the library. At least she was in the comforting library, surrounded by a wide expanse of books. Thus in the spirits of attempting to look nice, Arianna had dressed herself with a simple black dress, and boots she had found.
“Swann.” A slender hand extended along with a curt nod. “Arianna Swann.”
