Lucie is very excited for today because they’ve somehow convinced their family to let them get another pet, so they’re dressed in their best casual outfit. ”Loren and Liam hurry up, by the time we get there the menagerie will be closed.” Lucie says while exaggerating quiet a bit.

Their siblings just roll their eyes fondly and walk through the entrance with their hyperactive sibling, Lucie greets the elderly woman with a joyful look on their face. “Hi Mrs. Anita! Do you remember me? I came with Silas when he got Ridley!” The older women smiles at Lucie fondly.

”Yes Lucielia, how could I forget the most excitable member of the Night-Cortez family.” The woman says with a sweet smile. Lucie’s sibling tell Lucie to lol for their pet while they speak to the Whittakers.

Lucie scans the owls with a careful eye before walking away from them, they have no interest in the birds despite their fascination with any and all animals. They contemplate getting a Pygmy Puff before deciding that it wouldn’t be a good idea to get such an eccentric animal, no offense to anyone who’s ever gotten a Pygmy Puff.

They stop in front of a cat’s cage, A cat would be interesting. But their mind was changed after the rude feline hissed at them, plus they already have a feline troublemaker at home and she’s already too much to handle.

They immediately walk past the snake enclosure, and head towards the rats. It would definitely be a change of pace but they won’t be able to get that one, their snake will each any and every type of prey, instead of humans and some others of course.

They almost admit defeat before they stop in their tracks, right in front of a peculiar bunny cage. In it is a bunny that can be described as unusual and mischievous, much like Lucie in many ways. Lucie looks at the black and white bunny while noticing two details. (1) She’s a female because of her larger size and (2) She seems to have taken an interest in Lucie as well. Lucie looks at the bunny’s oddly wise beady eyes and grins.

”Wanna go home with me girl? Lucie says to the intelligent creature, who almost in confirmation allows Lucie to boop her nose.

Lucie takes the bunny to their shocked siblings and the smiling owners, the man and woman don’t look shocked the slightest. After Lucie pays they are given a Sugar cookie from Mrs. Anita, they bid her a farewell and a thank you before exiting with their siblings.

”Out of every pet you could’ve gotten, you chose a bunny known for chewing on furniture and burrowing in beds?! Really Lucie? What do you even name something like that?” Liam says flabbergasted.

”She seems Mischievous but so….Punkie.” When Lucie says this, their sister erupts into laughter and their brother looks at them incredulously. Lucie looks down at the cage containing the mischievous Punkie, and smiles, this will certainly be an experience.
