Dancing Without Music
Lallie sat in the middle of the ballroom looking up at the ceiling. She had finally finished her homework for the day and was just relaxing not knowing what to do. She liked the ballroom, it was so great and spacious. Not to mention when she was the only one in here she could dance with no judgment.
She was a good dancer, at least she thought she was, it's just that Lallie didn't really have a rhythm to her movements. People are expected to move smoothly along with music, but Lallie practically always danced as if there was no music. She felt when you dance you should move as the music, not with it. When Lallie tried to explain this to others they didn't really understand, she didn't expect them to, so she just kept dancing with their confused stares.
She pushed herself off the floor and went to the gramophone set near one of the room's corners. She looked at a couple of the discs and settled on a classical piece by a composer she had probably heard about, but forgot the name of. The music started and she spun her head on her neck letting the music grab ahold of her. She danced over to the middle of the ballroom in a loose style spinning her body around her feet. When she got to the middle she stopped for a moment then started making more strict movements.

Dancing Without Music
Sylvie had just left the rehearsal room after writing and singing parts of a song she was writing. Suddenly, she heard music coming from nearby. She turned around, clearly confused. "Wait... I was just in the rehearsal room, so it can't be coming from there," she thought as she focused, trying to find where the music was coming from. "Wait, isn't the ballroom on this floor? That must be where the music's coming from."
Sylvie decided to go to the ballroom to watch. She had been in there a few times, sometimes someone was in there, and sometimes it was empty. Sylvie would leave if it was empty, since she just liked to watch people dance. She'd never tried dancing before, but she thought it was beautiful how people could do so many different moves to music. She never tried when she was young because their was to much going on to do something as playful and fun as dancing. When she grew up, she had always wanted to try, but was afraid she'd make a fool of herself. Maybe one day she would try dancing.
Sylvie opened the door quietly, trying not to disturb the person inside. She heard the music more clearly now. It was classical, which wasn't something she listened to often. She preferred music such as pop, rap, and sometimes k-pop even though she never told anyone that out of slight embarrassment. Sylvie leaned against the wall, putting one of her feet against it and crossing her arms. This might've looked intimidating if she wasn't so short. She smiled as she watched the girl dance. The girls long ginger hair flowed behind her as she did so. Sylvie noticed that her dance moves didn't always go with the music, but she didn't mind. After all, dancing was an art form and every piece of art is unique and different.
After the girl finished, Sylvie clapped smiling warmly. "Nice job, that was really good."

Dancing Without Music
Lallie was so entranced in dancing that she didn't notice the girl entering the ballroom, or staying there her entire performance. She certainly wouldn't have been as open with her dancing if she knew someone was there. That was another problem with her dancing, she tended to close her eyes when she was dancing. She usually didn't notice anyone watching her unless they were talking directly to her which led to a lot of bumping into people while dancing.
When the song stopped she expected to hear silence, but instead, she heard the sound of clapping and the warm voice of a young girl. She spun around and jerked in surprise of the sight of a girl that looked around her age smiling and clapping. She turned as red as her house's colors. She got so embarrassed when people watched her dance. Even if the girl complimented her it made her feel self-conscious. She always was so bad with believing she was good at things.
"Uh, t-thanks," she said rubbing the back of her neck with her arm. This girl's compliment seemed genuine enough, but she still felt that the girl was just saying that because of social etiquette. "I uh didn't realize anyone else was in here. Sorry if I was keeping you from using this space."

Sylvie eyes-widened and she laughed nervously, pushing off the wall with her foot, trying to act cool and succeeding for the most part. The only way you could tell how anxious she currently was was if you looked deep into her eyes. She hadn't meant to startle the girl. Sylvie held her head high and seemed to be full of confidence. "Your welcome. Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She said as she walked up to the girl, she tucked her blonde hair behind her ears, even though it looked bad, so it would be out of her face. Sylvie noticed the girls face was very red, and felt a bit of guilt. She knew the feeling the other girl was having all to well.
"I wasn't planning on dancing, after all I've never danced before and I am probably very uncoordinated, unlike you." She said smiling, and putting her hands behind her back. She probably was very uncoordinated, which is one of the reasons she never tried. "I come here sometimes though to watch others dance. Sometimes I leave without them even noticing, and sometimes I decide to say hello like now. I'm sorry if you would've preferred me to just leave..." Sylvie said fiddling with a piece of her hair.
