From one page to another, Elisa kept on reading without caring about her surroundings. but, her concentration was yet again interrupted this time by the chatter of a couple of students who walked past her, "How annoying? neither do they read nor let others do with their good-for-nothing talks" she mumbled in Parselmouth, Elisa had recently discovered that she may not have her parent's blood purist personality but she seriously did have their rude and arrogant personality due to which she had started using her ability of Parselmouth as a cover for her rude remarks so that no one would understand them.
The annoyed Slytherin girl, once again took up her book and started reading while putting on a grumpy face.

Linda overheard one girl's speech and at first she was surprised other students didn't react to it. Until she realized the girl spoke in parseltongue. Ah until this time I even forgot my uncle taught me to understand parsel. Linda thought about time her uncle was teaching her how to understand this language ever since she overheard him speaking with his snakes and wanted to be able to understand them.
Linda came closer to the Slytherin girl and looked at the same direction. I agree. Day is so peaceful and yet they disturb it. She was slightly annoyed too, though it wasn't in her character. However, a lot of things changed since summer and so Linda found herself interested in knowing this girl more. It could be fun to communicate so, even if she couldn't reply in parsel.

"You are a Parselmouth? How? Who have you descended it from??" she asked, Elisa was completely panicked, the last thing she would want would be rumors spreading about how rude she was, Elisa took a deep breath before saying
"See, I didn't mean to backbite those students, I hope you are not planning to get me in trouble for such a thing cause It won't end me up in trouble ", then she started to look around her surroundings, suddenly there was not even a single soul near them, ' Great! Until now people were filling this place but now that I'm in a sticky position, not even a single soul' she thought while sighing annoyedly, the silence between her and the red-haired girl was too much, Elisa yet again sighed and this time looked at the girl near her, she had finally decided to act mature and solve whatever problem the girl with the red hair had,
"Is there anything you would like to say? I can't afford to waste my time on some stupid conversation" she said sternly while putting on an emotionless face which was enough to turn the aura scary.

My uncle is a Parselmouth, so he helped me to learn. That's why I can understand this language. Also I don't care how and what you are saying about others. I'm not going to waste my time on trying to get you in trouble.
Linda sat down and took out her sketchbook. This was getting too annoying and now she needed to calm down before she started to be more rude. That would be quite uncharacteristic for her. But, no one could speak with her like that. After all, she was from a pureblood family. She couldn't let herself act inappropriate.
You are failing in trying to be scary. I am from a pureblood family and I don't care about how you act with others. We don't need to talk. I'll just sit and draw and you can read or whatever else you want to do.
Linda looked at the girl and smiled. What this younger girl hoped to achieve by this kind of behavior? Linda was here second year and saw different students. Coming from pureblood family also made her see different wizards and witches. So, this didn't scare her.

"Even if you did waste your time in getting me in trouble, I wouldn't even care about it because small detention or lecture isn't something that big ", she then looked down towards her book which was on her lap when she heard the girl speak about how she was a Pureblood and how she didn't care of how Elisa thought about others, 'Ohh, so the baby is now going to talk about how she is a pureblood and shouldn't be talked to like that thought Elisa and faced the girl yet again with a blank face and said calmly without showing her anger
"Let me tell you one thing, just because you're a pureblood wouldn't make me scared because I am a Pureblood, that too from an ancient Pureblood family which has had many members that hold positions in the ministry and let me tell you one thing the way you speak is not at all appropriate for a pureblood to speak like, this is my opinion, it's up to you to either take it as an opinion or an insult ", she then picked up her book from her lap and was about to go back to reading when she finally decided to speak some last words to shut the mouth of the girl near her "Now before you think of any more insults, let me tell you one thing you might be elder than me but I surely do have a lot of etiquettes practice and am known among for my manners, so hope that would be enough to certify you that what I told and acted was just like how a pureblood should act, be calm in any situation and don't show your anger at any cost even if your pissed off " she sighed , took a moment of silence before once again speaking up "Do you realize now why I wasn't scared of you when you told me that you were a pureblood? I hope you did", she then calmly took up her book and started reading her book again, Elisa was proud of herself for not ruining her image as a perfect pureblood because of her anger which wouldn't really be a great thing for her specially as the next in line after her father to carry on the Shakestra Legacy.

Why did you decide I will go to tell someone what you said? She looked at the girl and smiled in a calm and sad way. Well, at least she didn't need to pretend to be happy, so this was something nice. Perhaps.
Girl, can you please stop venturing your anger at me? I am happy for your family background, though I still don't know why you think I was trying to scare you or anything. Linda opened her sketchbook and started to sketch a snake as she remembered it from her time with her uncle.
She's insulting me and yet I am the one insulting. Linda said quietly sounding generally sad. So you see, you were pissed off with other students and now you venture it on me. I am happy you know that pureblood should stay calm in any situation. Now, I never insulted you, never tried to scare you and certainly didn't intend to act as someone who likes to get others in trouble. So, since you told me your family background and made sure to act more scary and insult me in every possible mistake you think I did, I guess you can be happy.
Linda sighed and finished her sketch. It was pretty though lonely snake and it was supposed to look angry and scary. But if one would look closer, they will see that snake is sad.
Linda thought how funny that the girl thought everyone in ministry knew her. Her father, who was working close to high position, never heard of her. Also, Linda knew as a fact that father of this girl couldn't be head of department, thus she couldn't be of any higher status as she tried to show. Linda decided she'll simply ignore the girl if she would continue her threats and insults. No matter what the girl's problem was, it made Linda remember about situations when someone was blamed for something they didn't do.

"I-I was not trying to insult you, I never meant to, what I t-told you was just to remind you about the pureblood manners because the way you spoke before gave me rude and pureblood pride vibes, I was just trying to correct you with the very same words my parents have been telling me since I was 5 about p-pureblood manners and I wasn't going to speak about my heritage or background, I haven't even told anyone I'm a pureblood but when you spoke about being a pureblood seemed to me like pride, it triggered me into telling you all that " she said while her mood fell, Elisa looked down while trying to hide her tears, the way the girl spoke reminded her of her father , he used to never speak to her properly and always misunderstood her words blamed her, She then looked at the Red haired girl in front of her, and spoke once again "I-I am s-sorry i-if it was too rude", this time the blonde girl couldn't control her tears anymore, her tears fell from her eyes like rain, after all inside the cold girl cover there was a sensitive soul,
"I seem pathetic, don't I? I bet after seeing me like this you have started to doubt whatever I have told you about being pureblood, I bet if Mother and Father see me like this they would remind me yet again how I'm a disgrace to the family and ain't worth to call myself a pureblood" she said, Elisa had finally broken down and told one of her biggest secrets of how her parents treat her to someone who she just met, but the young girl was too filled with emotions to notice that, Elisa slowly picked up her book and walked a bit away from the red-haired girl and sat down there and started crying while making sure no one could see her.

Linda stood up and came closer to the girl. She sat down near her and hugged. It's okay. Except for misunderstanding between us that made you talk in insulting and rude way, I can see that you are better than that. I am sorry for being rude and triggering you. I was like that because I didn't like your accusations. Linda spoke gently, discovering that all the rudeness was just a mask. I am sorry your family treats you like this. And you know, let's try to get to know each other from the beginning, now that we cleared misunderstanding between us. However, let me give you a kind advice. You can feel anything you want, but if you want to have friends here, try to not be rude. You will be misunderstood and get into a fight.
Linda sat down near the girl again, looked at her and smiled kindly. You can find something you like and become great in it. Then it will be something to feel proud of. However now, all of us can only bring our backgrounds which has nothing to do with our achievements. Here you will find a lot of different students, sometimes from other schools as well. You will be misunderstood and it's okay. And maybe try to not imply what you think another person will do. Linda paused for a while.
What book are you reading? She looked at it, trying to see the name. How did they even ended up like that? Linda was happy that they cleared misunderstanding between them, but still sad from whole experience that was till now.
