Dear Mama and Papa,
I couldn't begin to describe the world at which I'm a part of. Everything that we were told and more has been revealed to me and I am in such awe.
I can't lie and say that I don't miss you. I miss everyone terribly and I miss our home a lot. It's weird not having Eoghan and Cillian waking me up with their morning bickering over where their going on their adventures, and Agatha offering to help me with my hair. I'm thinking I might need to cut it if I can't figure out how to put it up into a ponytail by myself. It gets pretty hard to manage when I'm in the greenhouses. I miss your food Papa, and I miss your stories Mama, but I have been finding ways to remind me of home. I hung up the tapestry from my room at home on my wall in our dorm room.
I'm having a hard time finding people who are like me though. As far as I'm aware, there aren't a lot of muggle-borns in my year and I'm trying to branch out like you taught me Papa but it's hard. I know you both want me to spend more time talking to people, but I just feel so at home with the plants. But I have met a couple people outside of my sorted house who aren't muggle born and they're amazing! They have so much to teach me about this world and I think that they're going to be some of my greatest friends.
I wish that you all could share this world with me. It's hard to think that every day when I wake up in my dorm room, that I won't be dragged downstairs by my brothers, or having a laugh with my sisters. Its... it's hard and I only want to come home to see you all just to be reminded that I didn't leave anyone behind.
I promise that once I figure out how to take photos I will send you as many as I can.

Dearest Siobhan,
We are overjoyed to have gotten your letter about your first week at Hogwarts! It has been very quiet without you here, I think your brothers are feeling the emptiness of their little sister, Eoghand and Declan have been requesting your favorite foods and even though Cillian has been his usual self, I know that he's been slowly taking your books off the shelf to read at night. Agatha and Kaitlyn also miss you terribly, they have taken up residence in your room and refuse to sleep anywhere else. I've had to move several of their belongings into your room but your room is still your room.
I'm happy to know that you are trying to make friends. I know it's hard but I'm sure you will find other students who are just as unfamiliar with your new world as you. Don't give up. Perhaps try looking for people in the places you like to go. Like the library, or in the gardens. There are people who enjoy the same activities as you do. Maybe you could join a club? There are options and you are more than capable of finding those people. You will find some of your life long friends at this school and all it takes is the first extension of your hand.
I'm so sorry it took us a while to get back to you leanbh bláth. We did have some trouble fitting everything we wanted to say in the letter but we eventually made it too long! We couldn't find an envelope big enough to fit the length of the paper. Kaitlyn also did not want to send Beadaí back to you. She is rather attached to this little owl, so please if you can, continue to send him to visit us.
We did send a little care package for you, and Agatha has agreed to give you her blue sweater if you promise to find a photo of the castle, you know how she is with history. Eoghan and Declan have also asked me to include their requests for "some magical prank object." I will not tell you how to spend your money, but please leanbh bláth do not send them something that will destroy anything.
Kaitlyn would love some candy like the ones we saw in the candy shop at Diagon Alley if that is not too much trouble, but I have already told her that you have your hands full. Truthfully she would be completely happy to see the owl again.
We love you and miss you very much. We hope you are doing well in school and that you have made some friends. We know you have it in you. We will see you for Christmas on the Platform!
