I really hoped that some people would show up soon, but I just stood near the huge doors waiting, ready to greet the guests. That’s what hosts do right? Greet people as they walk in, tell them to have a merry Christmas, something like that. I fixed up the skirt of my dress, trying to look as good as I possibly could. That would be pretty easy considering my choice of clothing, a big wintery dress and skating heels, I think I look very nice.
I brought food and drinks, some balloons, a banner that said “Merry Christmas!” on it, I think that’s all I need right? You just need food and people to have a party don’t you? Why doenst this feel right? I thought. Ah, that’s right. People, we still need those. I stood there, still, waiting for the first of the guests to arrive, hopefully any second now I thought, tapping my fingers on my skirt.

The Christmas Party Invitation had said to dress in formal winter-colored clothes. Cassian wasn't exactly sure what that meant, so he enlisted the help of Eloise, his older sister. Eloise ended up charming his dress robes to be a silvery color that seemed to slightly glow with moonlight. Cassian found it to be a bit much, but Eloise had been so excited about it he couldn't say no.
"It's perfect!" Eloise had said, "It looks just like a snowy mountain top at midnight!" Cassian thought that was extremely specific and a bit odd, but he figured out of the two of them, she definitely understood fashion better.
Cassian entered the Small Hall and took in the red and green balloons, as well as the big banner proudly exclaiming holiday wishes. Cassian thought it looked very festive and just the right amount of decor. As he entered he was immediately greeted by the silver-haired first year.
"Delainie! Hi, Merry Christmas! Or uh, Happy Christmas, I mean," Cassian winced. His old American habits still followed him every day.
"I don't think we've ever officially met, but thanks for the invitation! By the way, you kill it on the Quidditch pitch. This is a great party too," Cassian wasn't sure what to say so he just found the words spilling out of his mouth uncontrollably. Blast it all, he thought, thinking this was the last party Delainie would ever invite him to.

Merry Christmas!
Topaz was super excited as for her she was new and it was her first time! But she was kind of shy at times, she also had no one to go with but that didn't let it stop her from going. So, with the help of her mother- Evelynn November Topaz got dressed up. Her mother was a fashion designer and she had great sense of taste for fashion. Topaz wore a beatifully crotchet green and red dress as for the christmas theme some dangilly earrings of her mothers, gold heels, a christmas necklace, and other kinds of accessorys.
Evelynn says " Wow!" " You look great i guess my taste of fashion really paid off"! Topaz laughs " Yes mother you have excellent tastes of fashion. " I look amazing" exclaims Topaz. With the help of her mother Topaz was ready in no time. So she guessed that she would arrive early. Who dosen't love a christmas party am i right? Topaz thanked her mother and twirled around so happily. She said "it was going to be the best christmas party ever".
She headed to the small room with her balloons and food. Topaz checked the time it seemed that only 2 people had arrived. She knew none of them and as soon as she set the items and spotted them butterflies were in her stomach. As i said she was kind of shy and not to much of a talkative person. She wanted to go meet them but she didnt know what to say. She headed over to them and had said " Hi! My name is Topaz Novemeber. I am a first year here at Hogwarts!" Esme walks into the scene, hoping Aliana would arrive soon, tardiness would not be accepted, so if she was late they'd have to have a talk. Despite this, she expected to be here before Ali, after all, she tried to be punctual, it's embarrassing to be late.
She wore a Hanfu, it was her favorite thing to wear to formal events, it also felt like a special thing to wear while everyone else wore their western dresses and ball gowns, she'd wear something a bit more indicative of herself. The beautiful garment was as blue as a rushing waterfall, and as it pored to the sleeves and lower parts of the dress, it faded to a clean and pale white, this garm was perfect in that it encompassed all appropriate colors for this party, finally she had white eyeshadow and a mix of blue and white on her fingernails.
She tried to scope out the host of this calm party, she owed an offering to Delanie for being allowed to attend, so she began to make her way around the party to her position. "Hello, Delainie, thank you for inviting me, and I must say, you have done well, the decorations are well placed, and you're hair is beautiful." she presents Del with two nicely sized chocolate frogs, holding them in both hands clearly presented as a gift. "I couldn't wrap them, but I hope these will be acceptable."

Ali had just finished getting ready wasn’t even out the door yet and it was 5:10 teh party started 10 minutes ago.
“Crap”
Ali thought to herself as she rushed around fixing her hair and makeup along with grabbing her bag as she runs around her dorm room.
She almost falls while running around as she’s in heels. She grabs her bag before running out the door knowing it will take her at least 5 minutes to get to the party. She speed walks as fast as she can to the party room. She glances in nervously as she sees quite a few people arrived already there the spots esme. By gods she’s gorgeous Ali thinks to herself as she almost trips on her dress gojng down teh stairs. Ali is wearing teh exact same Color as esme but different style dresses. Ali is dressed a light blue dress long in the back shorter in the front, with intricate lace all over the dress giving it that elegant yet casual look. She had 4 inch heels that match her dress perfectly along with white eyeshadow and a mix of blue and white on her fingernails exactly like esme. They are matching perfectly just like Ali had hoped although Esmes even more gorgeous then she could’ve ever imagined. She recovers from her almost fall down the steps then sees esme talking to delanie, the host of this party. Ali rushes her way over to them hugging esme tightly and excitedly. “Hi es!” Ali says hugging her and kissing her cheek a big smile on her face as she admires how beautiful she looks. Hoping esme will forget about that fact that Ali was late by 15 minutes she grabs esmes hand and turns to face delanie. “Hi del! Thank you so much for inviting us to your party! I’m sure it will be so much fun! the decorations and food look amazing!” Ali says enthusiasticly and excitedly as she has a bugs mile on her face holding esmes hand who she is now much taller than with her heels on.

Christmas Party
The green haired Gryffindor awkwardly paused outside of the great hall as they realized there hadn’t been much people arriving yet. It could even be considered that Jay was rather early, a shocker for those who knew them. They always arrived either at the peak of the event or right before, and unless something chaotic was going to happen within the next five minutes then this occasion would be considered uncharacteristic of Jay Victoria.
They decided to wear a new outfit they revived from Joseph Victoria himself as a birthday gift, it was rather surprising to find the large package on their bed on all hallows eve. Jay absolutely adored it, it was an outfit fit for any formal occasion along with a formal winter robe that will most likely be used a lot for the season. Between Christmas and New Years, a lot of families sure do love to fill the days with events. It was sickening for Jay.
However, this little holiday party was different. It was much more relaxed than an event such as the fall ball. In all honestly, Jay was surprised that they received an invitation to this event- more so at the fact that a first year organized it. Eleven year old Jay could not fathom organizing a party, it was blasphemous how cursed every event that took place on the Hogwarts campus ended with some sort of chaos.
Chaos. The magic word. What was wrong with a little fun? Jay certainly wasn’t planning on terrorizing these underclassmen, they simply invited a few extra friends. Those friends could faintly be heard rolling on the tile floors in the corridors far away. That was something to worry about later.
Without much further ado, Jay walked through to the small hall. They waved at the host before immediately running off to the snack tables. “Silly Puff, look at all of these marvelous treats!” They said, pulling the annoyed arachnid out of their robe pocket to show the foods.
Unfortunately, Silly Puffy Jumper, jumped straight into a bowl of pudding.

Esme noticed Aliana coming to her flank, she looked at Aliana all around, finally focusing on her face, she wanted to melt, Aliana was so beautiful, from the way she held herself to the clothes she wore, even the fact that the heels gave her extra height, it was all a perfect combination, making Esme want to cuddle Aliana, but in the midst of all this pride for her partner, there was one burning disappointment, Aliana was late, only by a little bit, but it was still not acceptable, Esme really cared about the way Aliana was showing herself indirectly, and coming into the party late certainly didn't show face.
Esme dipped her head to Delainie, respectfully excusing herself before leading Aliana to a secluded part, not far from the action but making sure nobody was within 6 ft or more of the two of them. "Aliana, you came late... you can't just come in 15 minutes late, yes I counted because it really does matter." She shook her head. A disappointed, sharp frown on her face. "My mother taught me something important, if you're on time, you're late, but in this case you aren't even "on time" late, you're just completely late." She sighs and takes a moment to pause, then when she has paused for about 10 seconds she went back to speaking. "By not showing up on time, you are showing how much you care not only to me, but also to Delainie. You must be more thoughtful next time, okay?" She tried to say all this in a calm tone, but she was clearly very unhappy with Aliana's actions, now the real test for Ali is if she takes this seriously or not, and with baited breath, Esme waited for a response.

"Speech"
Elisa walked straight towards the Small Hall without even paying attention to her surroundings, as she finally reached the Small Hall, something in her made her stop, she had started overthinking again while her anxiety engulfed her, after a couple more minutes of battling her thoughts, Elisa finally took a step forward and entered the Small Hall, 'The Party Host has put some hard work in this party' she thought while looking around the Party, there were a couple of people surrounding a girl who seemed to be the party host and a green haired boy near the snack table with something that looked like a spider.
Elisa slowly walked towards the host, deciding that it would be appropriate for her to first greet the host, she finally went to the host and said
"Hi, Merry Christmas, I don't think we have met before I am Elisa Shakestra, a first-year", after a couple of minutes she excused herself and left the crowd, ' Gosh! Crowds are so uncomfortable' she thought before going over to get herself a snack from the snack table, she was planning to get a pudding but then she saw a spider in one and a green-haired boy standing near it, the clumsiness of the spider made her smile, Elisa slowly went forward to get a bowl of pudding and then looked at the spider
"Quite an excited spider, I see, looks like he loves sweets" she said while smiling at the spider since she was young Elisa loved animals, especially the type of animals that others avoided like snakes, spiders and rats, they just simply looked adorable to her especially the one in front of her, she slowly moved her hand near the spider
"He is adorable, whats his name?" she asked but this time facing the boy next to her with a bright smile.

Christmas Party
To say Juniper was nervous would have been an understatement. She could have sworn she had a herd of Hippogriffs flying around in her stomach. She had been very hesitant to attend this party. She preferred the comfort of her own books and dorm room but alas she was here to appease her father who expected her to be a proper pureblooded social butterfly. Peeking through the door way, juniper took in the party, and her stomach churned, she was running a little behind. The room was filling up with students chatting and laughing and Juniper already felt like a lone merperson in a sea of strangers. Looking at the decorations helped calm her nerves a bit, they were so happy and gave off a light vibe, plus there was food which was always on Junipers mind. Taking a deep breath in Juniper entered the room and almost immediately headed to a vacant room corner and took her place as an introverted wallflower. She knew she should go thank the hostess for the invite, but Juniper couldn’t bring herself to leave the safety of her corner just yet. She was wearing a green dress that flowed down to her ankles and little black pumps, with a pearl necklace and her long red hair placed up in a bun. She looked quite pretty and elegant. She closely took in her surroundings, watching the interactions occur, taking mental notes, hoping to learn something from the others who seemed so comfortable around each other.
