Scott was curious about one's before-said words, wondering the meaning in studying art. No, it wasn't exactly like the name implied. Yes, one could go reading about anatomy, learning every muscle in human's body and try redrawing it, but that wasn't Ophelia's style. She preferred practising such things in the means of drawing and sketching until one felt like it. The passion drove her into trying as many things as possible, to broaden one's horizons in art.
Slim shoulders shrugged in response, blue vision shifted around the room as one was thinking how to answer to such a question.
"Um, sharpening for me would be being able to draw humans even more comfortably, in richer poses or something, I guess."
Everyone had different views of art, Ophelia viewed it as a method to express herself in her own way, she could draw anything she wanted to, there were no limitations in art and that made heart feel more free. Drawing was also a great way to pass time, to relax or when an idea shot in one's mind, hands pulled out her black notebook and a pencil while the thought was still fresh.
The boy appeared to be keen on drawing but expressed opinion of being a less-skilled artist, making Ophelia wonder if he wanted to learn, to improve, but just didn't know how to.
"Is there anything particular you wish to know how to draw?"
It was just a regular question really, a tad of curiosity, but perhaps one could help the Gryffindor if she felt like it.

"Well, now it's obviously dragons!" Scott laughed, and gestured towards where her notebook was. "Like I said: the one thing I cannot draw. Well, that's flattering myself but still..."
Ophelia had taken out her notebook again, and a pen with it. Scott stretched his neck over to catch a look, to see if she was drawing something new.
"But maybe..." he mused, "It's harder to draw them if you don't love them as much as you do. I bet that's part of it, at least. Like with flying: I don't dislike it because I'm bad, it's the other way around. Or at least that's what I think... Are there dragons easier to draw? If you're practising human anatomy, who do you like to draw? Maybe you make up people. I usually make up things, it's easier." He chuckled, "In drawing, I mean."
He drew his eyes resistantly from the paper and toward the shelves again. Maybe he should turn in a drawing of a slug with his assignment, but he decided that wasn't a very good idea.
"We should have art classes," he sighed, "or something else fun. I bet, if we did, I'd be done with all of my homework by now..."

The boy's laugh always sent a dash of positive aura into the air, everything around him appeared brighter somehow as one listened to his many piled questions, not sure which one to answer first.
"Hmm."
A moment of silence crawled between the pair as one thought of her answer for a brief second.
"I guess I make them up sometimes, yeah."
A short pause.
"Now I'm thinking of finding a sucker who could stay still for an hour so I can draw something new."
She hadn't done a portrait of someone in a while, the last person being her father. She even had a drawing of her mother tucked somewhere, drawn with lines from what the memory of a 4-year-old girl had of the woman's appearance. She was quite proud of that work, capturing Anastasia Silverton's gentle grace and astonishing beauty. Oh, how one missed the parent, a framed picture of the mother was hidden in a drawer next to Ophelia's bed in her dorm. She would look at it sometimes, before going to bed.
Besides her parents, she would sometimes draw strangers she saw in the streets if enough time was given. It gave her what one could call knowledge, perhaps, of body types and different facial features. With that, she could sometimes make up a face of her own, imagination never seemed to be a problem when it came to this young wizard.
Shaking her head lightly, she focused her mind back to the topic.
Yes, she could draw someone new but she wasn't sure who to pick the first place.
Perhaps she should put some thought into it after all? Putting away her notebook, she slowly flicked her hair back with a gentle touch, baby blue focusing on Scott for a brief moment.
"I need to get going now. Good luck with your dragon art...and whatever you came here for in the first place."
A soft smile painted on pale face before figure turned and began leaving slowly.
