Peace and Silence (PV Elisa Shakestra)
With a sigh, he threw off the covers and swung his legs over the side of the bed. His feet hit the cold floor, causing him to shiver. It wasn't just the temperature of the room that made him shudder; the thought of facing another day filled with social interactions and magical lessons left him feeling anxious. As an introverted student, Zayvon found it challenging to navigate the bustling corridors and communal spaces of the castle.
He took a deep breath and forced himself out of his comfort zone. Grabbing his wand and cloak from the hook on the wall, he made his way out of the dormitory and into the crisp morning air. The Great Lake glimmered in the distance, its tranquil waters providing a sense of solace for Zayvon as he walked towards it.
As he strolled along the lakeshore, the sound of ripples breaking against the rocks soothed his frayed nerves. He watched a group of ducks paddling gracefully across the water, their quacks echoing through the stillness. This peaceful scene reminded him why he loved spending time near the lake – it was a place where he could escape the chaos of school life and simply exist without any expectations or demands.
For a moment, Zayvon forgot about his fear of being judged or overwhelmed. He closed his eyes, allowing the warmth of the sun and the gentle lapping of the waves to envelop him. In this serene environment, he felt like he belonged.Word count: 227
