Linda woke up early this day. It was Saturday and her homework as usual was already done. She looked at her kitten, who was laying in her own warm bed, and smiled. Lila Moon always could be a reason for Linda to smile. Even now.

After some time of reading, Linda caught herself on been totally distracted and not focusing on a book in front of her at all. So she decided to walk around the castle with Lila.

Linda put a sweatshirt on Lila Moon and changed into trousers with sweatshirt as well. After making her hairstyle without caring much how it looked, she took a ball and treats and went out of the room with Lila in her hands.

It wasn't too crowded today, so once they were outside the room, she let her kitten run close to her. They were walking in most of the places in the castle, going to different floors. At the end they came closer to the Small Hall. That's where Linda let her kitten play with ball. They came to the Small Hall and Linda looked at the fireplace. How quickly and suddenly this year changed from happiness to getting bad news. She noticed that Lila was enjoying playing with ball coming closer to Linda and a little bit more far away. However, she still caught herself on the thoughts she tried her best to escape from.

She got distracted by her kitten's sound and seeing her coming back without her ball. Linda looked carefully and felt like something made her kitten sad. So she looked around to see where was the ball and found it laying closer to a girl with pygmy puff.

It was no secret to most of the human population that a lot of fears were irrational. There were way too many types of phobias to count, from Acrophobia (fears of heights) to some of the more eccentric ones, such as Anthrophobia, fear of water. No matter how much Renelle studied them, she simply could not fantom what it was about these brightly coloured blooms that made them terrifying in the slightest.

But maybe she wasn’t meant to, for that was the base of this sort of thing- they were not meant to make sense. And at any rate, it wasn’t like all these different things that various people found scary affected her life in any way, which was why she had never really taught about them. Until today, that is.

It started out like any other Saturday- Renelle had decided to ignore the heaps of homework that seemed to stare at her ominously despite being stuffed deep inside her bag, without the slightest hint of getting a breath of fresh air anytime soon. Instead of being productive, she was wandering around the seemingly endless halls of the castle, without much purpose or a destination in mind.

It made sense, with her just starting at Hogwarts a little more than a month earlier, that she would find herself a stranger to most parts of the school. She’d heard that there were some students of senior years who knew the place like the back of their hand, though she found it difficult to imagine herself ever achieving a similar level of familiarity.

She sighed, hand straining unconsciously toward a bulge in the pocket of her robes, where a quivering lump was clearly visible. Who knew, perhaps she would be able to know about every room Hogwarts had to offer by the end of the year. Unlikely, though.

Suddenly, the Ravenclaw stopped, looking around at her surroundings. It seemed that somehow, observed in her thoughts and musings, the girl had strayed to the Small Hall. She hadn’t been here much before, which made it difficult to fathom how her brain could have decided to bring her here.

But she was now, and literally anything sounded better than facing the terrifying monster known as homework. Heading pass the doors into the room, Renelle fished around in her pockets. He couldn’t hide forever- “Aha!” She cringed. In her triumph at kidnapping her poor pet, she might have voiced that a bit louder than was necessary.

Attempting discretion, she inched toward the portrait-lined walls of the place, several of whom were glaring at her with judgmental expressions. Carefully, she lifted the pink Pygmy puff known as Jeff out of his little hiding place. “Finally getting a bit of fresh air, you are.” She muttered down at him, attempting the same condemnatory look as her dear portrait friends, but falling short by several hundred metres. “I know we’re vampires, but it’s healthy once in a while.”

Or maybe not, for this was the calm before the storm. Renelle would soon find out that a Pygmy puff, a ball, and a cat playing with said ball all in the same place… Was a very bad idea indeed.

Linda couldn't even imagine that suddenly in her second year in Hogwarts a kitten playing with ball could be leading to misunderstanding and irrational fear. This was still a nice day even when she noticed a first year girl with her pygmy puff.

Something that isn't that rare in this big castle as well as well as in the wizarding world. Pygmy puff that girl was holding was not something unusual or anything that would suggest that trouble could happen. So, not finding anything that would resent danger, Linda kept looking at her kitten playing with the ball. It was coming closer to the girl and Lila was quickly bringing it back closer to Linda. Nothing out of ordinary. Or so it seemed.

Second year was keeping enjoying this harmless playing of her small kitten as it was going any other day. Ball was going away and Lila was bringing it back.

However, at some point of this happy enjoying time something happened that Linda could never thought it could be real.
She looked around and couldn't understand what was going on. Could it be because of her kitten? But Lila didn't touch neither girl nor her pygmy puff.

Linda looked at them while taking her kitten to her hands. She looked confused and definitely didn't expect what was about to come.
