No Way Out
“We can go out that door and then look for a way out in the dark corridor.” Andrea suggested. Quinn nodded and poked her head outside the door. The hallway was creepy and dimly lit. Quinn turned to Andrea.
"It's creepy out here, I'm gonna go farther." Quinn crept out into the hallway again then turned to the right. A hall of portraits stared at her. Literaly. Quinn kept walking and saw a weird greenish light, turning to the left Quinn saw a bubbling potion. Transfixed she walked straight into a spiderweb.
"EEK!" She screeched and backed out. This is worse then the time I got lost on my first day of second grade. Quinn thought. A strange portrait beconed to her. Quinn looked around nervously, she didn't want to lose her was back to the bathroom. Quinn scurried toward the portraite. It soundlessly pointed toward the left fork in the hallway. Quinn smiled in a wasy she hoped was thankful and headed that way. Left, straight, dead end, right, straight. Quinn tried to keep her turns in her head. Quinn saw a door. It was a huge heavy oak door, underneath it Quinn could see light. I've found something! I have to go back and tell Andrea. Quinn turned around to go back but saw only wall.
"Uh oh..." Quinn said. Quinn turned back to the door but it was gone.
"Oh no!" Quinn cried. She raced around trying to find something that looked familar. Then her head hit something and she passed out.
