I walk in and notice the only spot towards the front tagt was free was next to Olivia. I walk over to her desk and sit down
I roll my eyes ”wow real mature Olivia also I am not a slacker” I say as I sit down setting my stuff down not as neat as her but still very neat.

I had just said good bye to esme my friend before coming to class. I take out all my things along with a note book and sketchbook.
Placing my notebook up further on my desk and my sketchbook infront of me. I open up my sketchbook and take an out a pencil.
As I think about what to draw I suddenly get an idea and start sketching me and Esmes outfits for the BaiKim ball that we discussed last time we hung out together. I sketch I detail taking in every detail we talked about in my own little world forgetting I’m sitting next to Olivia in class. Then suddenly professor mcgonagall calls on me to answer a question. “Ms duke?” Mcgonagall says expectantly. I look around confused remembering I’m in class and realizing I was lost in my thoughts. “Sorry professor what was it that you said?” I say politely as I set my pencil down glaring at Olivia next to me hopping she doesn’t say anything to embarrass me.

“She asked the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf, if you were listening instead of daydreaming” Olivia said while taking notes. “Anyone knows an animagus changes by choice and can change back and still remember what happened where as a werewolf can’t” Olivia couldn’t help herself. She was a very kind person but when it came to working hard she wanted to be on top. Olivia immediately went quiet after getting a hard glare from mcgonagall “sorry professor” She said red faced embarrassed and slumping in her seat a little bit. “I-uh-I‘ll be quiet and just uh let her answer next time. Wouldn’t want her to not have a fair chance at trying now.” Olivia then went back to just writing her notes and listening. Her plan to embarrass Aliana had backfired on her self and ended up her the one embarrassed. It was clearly arrogance was not a good look for Olivia nor was jealousy. She leaned over and whispered to Aliana “my answer to the question was right though.” Olivia whispered with a bit of arrogance in her voice as she wasn’t listening to the lesson much anymore but rather trying to show off her intelligence.

I leaned in closer to Olivia, making sure our conversation remained discreet amidst the bustling classroom. The air was filled with a mix of anticipation and curiosity as Professor McGonagall began her lecture on advanced Transfiguration spells. Olivia's remark had caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but find her observation amusing. I chuckled softly in response to Olivia's whispered comment. "Well, Olivia, your answer may be right, but it seems like Professor McGonagall prefers a quieter approach to learning. Let's try to keep it low-key and avoid the spotlight for now," I whispered back with a subtle smile, trying to tease her as she just did to me.

And with that we were now starting a project on the difference between Animagus and a werewolf. We must complete a project on it and present it not only to Professor but the entire class. Everyone gets excited thinking we will be able to choose our own partners when Professor McGonagall starts listing off names.

“Amehith and Sandra
Kathrine and brook…” etc etc. I zone out not fully paying attention till I hear her say

“Aliana and Olivia”
My jaw drops I Donte Anna work with that I hate her! I think to myself
“No professor there must be a mistake? We aren’t working together are we?” I ask confused and pissed off.

Olivia took a drink of her water bottle then coughed almost choking. "I'll take anyone else! ANYONE but her! Olivia whined a bit and was just as unhappy as Aliana was. Olivia groaned as Professor mcgonagall made it very clear that this was set in stone. "great. Just great! Now i'm going to be the only one doing any actual work on this assignment and of course you'll probably take all the credit!" Olivia rolled her eyes and was complaining severly about this. "We have nothing in common anyways, How could we ever possibly work together if we dont even have the same ideas or opinions!?" Olivia said packing up her school bag very annoyed and huffing every moment or so. She had accepted her fate but wasn't thrilled about it as i'm sure Aliana felt the same. She put her quill ink and her notes and book all neatly in her bag as class came to an end. "when do you want to meet to start? and i'd assume we're meeting in the library!" Olivia said as if that last part wasn't an obvious. "i can do any day this week!" Olivia might as well try to be nice as she couldnt avoid this

I huff and puff as well as I put my things in my bag. I sigh watching Olivia's dramatic reaction to their assigned partnership. "Well, I'm not exactly thrilled about this either, but complaining won't change anything," i retorted calmly. I adjusted my bag and replied, "Fine, let's go to the library now we don’t have anymore classes today. We might as well make the best of this situation." i, with a hint of sarcasm, added, "And who knows, maybe our differing ideas and opinions could bring some creativity to the project. But let's keep the melodrama to a minimum, shall we?" i shot a subtle, amused glance at Olivia before heading towards the library, secretly hoping that the collaboration might turn out better than expected.
As me and Olivia walked towards the library, i couldn't help but reflect on how different me and her were. While i was known for her calm level-headed nature, Olivia was notorious for her dramatic flair. It was no surprise that i had reservations about working with her. However, i was determined to approach this partnership with an open mind. i believed that every situation had the potential for growth and learning, even if it seemed challenging at first. Perhaps, i thought, their contrasting personalities could actually complement each other and lead to a successful collaboration.

Olivia sighed and decided to make the best of the situation “we got off on the wrong foot I think. You know? Your actually really nice and your style is cool as well as your hair.” Olivia said as she took a deep breath and tried to be genuinely nice. “Maybe we have a lot more in common then we think. I mean we’re both smart, competitive, nice. I think if we really did try maybe we could be friends if it’s not too much of a stretch” Olivia said walking with Aliana to the library trying her hardest to get along. She figured if the two were working together they might as well try and get along. She figured it would make the project go a lot smoother and easier. “Like a fun fact about me is my favorite place to go is Weasleys Wizard Wheezes in diagon alley. It’s a comforting place to go I feel like. What about you? What’s a fun fact about you?” Olivia tried to get to know Aliana a little better. Maybe they had something in common. Olivia kept walking as she played with her sleeves of her sweater and listening to Aliana
