Good feeling
Cecilia was suprised by the boy’s words, mostly amazed. His tone was just as gentle as always, but it was filled with a rigid feeling. Cecilia has never been the person who would appriciate himself for helping someone, he would always thought that it was nothing. And he always thought that people he helped would be just fine even without his helps. Not only him, there are people who thought that way too.
Until Oliver said those words, he felt like he was trully appriciated, it was like he had no choice but understand value of himself to other. He was assured, assurance was something he has been giving people a lot, something he was rarely given as strong and affirmative as Oliver’s.
“Thanks Oliver, no one had ever said that to me” Cecilia said and grinned out loud “It mean a lot!”
Unconsiously, he opened his eyes in the secured feeling he got from Oliver, his eyes directed at Oliver’s voice direction. But at that moment, the professor, Mr. Barnaby cleared his throat, distracted the peers from their broom and focus on him and his lesson. Cecilia silenced himself and started to focus on the proffesor on how to mount a broom. Trying to ignore the warm feeling that was building up in his chest and replace the thought about that metaphor with the instrution on how to take off and landing

“Well, they should say it more,” Oliver whispered to Cecilia after the teacher had started talking again. Then, he settled down the listen. His conscience pricked a little that he had been talking when the teacher was instructing, but for some reason, he felt like getting those few extra words of encouragement to Cecilia was worth it.
However, Oliver was beginning to notice that Cecilia didn’t really look directly at anyone. Oliver quickly put the pieces together, along with Cecilia’s beautiful silvery eyes, realizing quietly that his new friend was blind. There was a blind horse on the ranch, so Oliver knew that it was only a somewhat hindrance to a fulfilled life. It was a part of Oliver’s firm belief that anyone could be a complete person with enough effort and willpower. Cecilia was hardly an exception to that rule. If anything, Oliver admired him even more for doing what he did with the added stumbling block of sight. Or, the lack of it.
There was a strange warmth flooding throughout Oliver. It was somewhat the same way Oliver felt about his family, but also a lot different. Oliver assumed that this was just a very strong friendship in the making. Hadn’t he heard that friends were some of the best family you could get?

Cecilia only smiled at Oliver’s supportive words, the whisper was small and sounds like wind’s whistle, but he could still hear it clearly. In fact, he loves people who talk like whispering since his hearing was better than most others. People usually talk too loud to his liking, some were just unbearable, but he had never spoke up for himself because it was just too impolite to ask people to lowerred their voice. But with Oliver, his voice was perfect for Cecilia’s sensitive hearing.
He felt a bit warmth on his cheeks with light pink blush but then immidiately returned his focus to the professor as he cleared his throat loudly like he was reminding the unfocused students, not specifically at him and Oliver, but was enough for him to be startled and focused entirely on the lecture.
After a very clear explanation and instruction, Professor Barnaby let the students started practicing with their broom. Cecilia thought of choosing a spot which would be a little far away from the students.
First, he wouldn’t embarrased himself in front of other if he fell from his broom. Second and most importantly, he wouldn’t accidentally crash on other while practicing with his broom.
“Hey Oliver, I’ll be practicing over there, okay?” He said, mostly just to inform Oliver of where he were going to be. He knew that Oliver probably didn’t need to be told where he was going to be But since people often tell Cecilia where they are and will be, it was just natural for him to inform them in return

Oliver was a little discouraged that his new friend was choosing to practice away from him, but he supposed it made sense to. One didn’t want any accidental casualties while riding brooms due to a blind Hufflepuff driving head first into some unsuspecting eleven year old and snapping their neck. He nodded his head to Cecilia, then, after reconsidering, hummed ‘uh-huh’ to express his acknowledgment.
Oliver was used to going about things alone, so it wouldn’t hurt him at all to do it again. He stepped over onto his broom, gripping it with his knees like he was supposed to. However, before he took off, he paused to look at Cecilia. He was intrigued as to how someone used to operating by touch and hearing would operate up in the air, where their was nothing to touch but the wind, and the air rushed by like water, drowning out all other noise. Oliver had never had his feet leave the ground, well, in the sense of being suspended with no visible means of support. He was sort of nervous. He didn’t have enough trust in magic yet to be comfortable with unsupported flight on a stick with twigs strapped to the end. His stomach was beginning to writhe at the thought.
But, he couldn’t be a coward. That wouldn’t be befitting, both to his family, and his House, he supposed. He didn’t know much about his House of Slytherin, except that they had a somewhat sour reputation, but were known for being ambitious. He needed to be ambitious. Strive for greatness. Ride the broom.

Good feeling
Cecilia could hear a slight dampen tone in Oliver’s humming sound, he’d be more than happy to practice with him, but had no way to practice without harming both of them accidentally. He gave Oliver a sorry smile and went to his isolated spot.
He stood there quietly for a short moment, revised all the things that professor had said and took deep breaths. Cecilia wanted to have Oliver here to support and guide him through this, although he doesn't want to be a useless blind boy like other like to stereotyped him all the time, he wasn't helpless. But it was just really scary for him, he could stand on a flat surface and still fell over his own leg, then how could he ride a broom where he couldn’t feel anything but the wind? Besides, the only thing that could make him feels like he was in control of his own body was hearing and feeling the ground beneath his foot and his surrounding using a cane. But he could feel nothing but a broom and wind while he was in the air, even though it was just a few feets away from the ground.
Cecilia shook his head a little and told himself not to be weak and risk Oliver’s safety, also waste his time. Cecilia stood with a ready pose and used up all of his courage and confidant to take a small leap…
“Ouch!” He yelped after the broom which just flew about 2 feets from the ground started shaking slightly and dropped dead, caused him to fall on the ground. Nothing serious but a few scratchs happened, and probably one of his ankles was hurt a little bit. Just remind him to read an article about how to fall without injuries later

Oliver almost yelped in reply as his body immediately jerked towards the falling form of the broom. He had never felt his heart jump so violently in his chest for such a small incident. He was used to seeing his brothers and cousins getting bucked and dumped off of horses’ back, getting kicked and trampled, and one couldn’t allow oneself to panic, otherwise, you’d be no help at all if they were seriously injured. But, his rising concern seemed to disregard all of that, and he ran over to the place where Cecilia had crashed. It wasn’t that violent of a fall, and Oliver had no idea why he was so concerned. But he ran over, kneeling by Cecilia’s side.
“Are you alright?” he said, looking up and down for obvious injuries. Maybe a slight swelling or a bone a little out of place. Such a very slight fall shouldn’t cause much injury, but, just to be careful. The teacher began walking over to check up on Cecilia as well. Hogwarts took student injuries very seriously.
Oliver had left his own broom on the grass behind him. Honestly, he would rather be doing a lot else other than actually taking the leap of faith off of the ground. And now that Cecilia had fallen, a student who had already been the first to summon up his broom, proving his talent, he was even more reluctant.

“Yeah! I’m alright” Cecilia said as he heard Oliver asked worrily before he reached him. Even if it was normal people who were listening to Oliver’s voice when he asked, they would know immediately that he was worried, seriously worried. Cecilia’s face was a little bit pink in embarrassment as he grabbed Oliver’s hand to stand up. Somehow, he was more sure than ever that Oliver’s hand was already there to help him up. A part of him felt embarrassed and guilty that he had let other to worry about him, but more than that, he was happy to feel the pure worry that Oliver had gave him.
The professor was coming toward Cecilia place to check on him, he asked Cecilia a bunch of questions and examined to see if he was injured, which Cecilia was appreciated. His ankle wasn’t in much pain so he didn’t tell the professor nor Oliver, since he didn’t want to make a scene or make Oliver more worry than he had already expressed
“Sorry, I interrupted your practice” Cecilia said and smiled sorrily with Oliver when the teacher had continued guiding other students. He didn’t know why, but the fear inside him was seems to be repressed. The fear he felt when he fell, the fear he felt even before he decided to leap was gone.
After a moment of thinking, he decided:
“Oliver, I’ll try again, but can you…” Cecilia stopped a little bit “I mean… can you stay here?”

Oliver helped Cecilia up with a strong hand, and stood back as the professor quizzed Cecilia for any pain. The teacher seemed to find him well, and Cecilia insisted that he was fine, but Oliver was unsure. He kept his eye on Cecilia’s facial expression, to look for any signs of pain to prove him lying. Oliver had his suspicions, but without ground to stand on, he would keep quiet.
“Honestly, I don’t want to practice. You’re doing me a favor. I’ll stay as long as you’d like.” He was happy to do whatever someone might ask, but he was a bit more enthusiastic for Cecilia. Oliver had been needing so much help, and asking so much of people in these past few days, that it felt great to have someone ask for his help. Oliver just wanted to do things other than homework, that was all he asked. He also didn’t want to leave the ground, but that was besides the point.
Oliver smiled brightly. He could tell when people were good or bad, and he could tell already that Cecilia was a wonderful person. Talented, and persevering as well. He was so admirable. Oliver found it incredibly inspiring, and he was so glad that he could do anything to help his new friend out. It was good to surround yourself with good influences, good for the mind and the soul.

Good feeling
He had worried that Oliver would say no, which would be absolutely reasonable for him to refuse. After all, Cecilia has wasted Oliver’s time too much.
Cecilia picked up the broom and carefully cleaned its bristle. He was ready to try again, it was scary, flying it is. Scarier than anything he had done in his life, it was a short moment in the air and Cecilia was terrified. He couldn’t feel anything but the broom and the morning blow surrounded his senses . Maybe it was why he couldn’t fly, he was afraid, he didn’t have enough faith in himself nor the broom.
He just needed someone to assure him that he wasn’t alone in an empty space, he needed to have faith in other if he couldn’t trust himself, that person he trusted was Oliver Cavallo.
“I’ll try again” He warned Oliver, just to make sure that he was standing in safe range. Cecilia posed a ready position, tried his best to duplicate the teacher’s instruction and relaxed his body and mind with a deep breath, collected all the courage he had, Cecilia took a leap off the ground.
“Whoa!!” he yelped excitingly, Cecilia then was in the air, nothing but air and wind surrounded his senses, but then, he was afraid of nothing, he had Oliver there watching him, even felt a great excitement that he had never experienced before. He was freed of all his common senses, freed of all the noises that he could hear from afar, not that he couldn’t hear them, he ignored them
"Oliver! I did it!!"
