Theater Arts Club- Meeting 1 Members Only

Sonya looked at the entrance of the room as a latecomer arrived. "Hello! Welcome!" she greeted. She couldn't remember the name of this person. They looked familiar, probably from auditions. She looked around at everyone there. There was a sufficient amount of people at the meeting at the moment. Although she knew that this wasn't everyone in the club, or at least everyone who had gone to auditions, she figured it was a good time to start the first preforming activity. She wanted to have them start by having them work creatively to make their own scene. This would also help Sonya see how everyone was at coming up with their own materials. Although there were a couple original works at auditions, most were just preformed by the actor, not created. She now wanted to see the whole of everyones abilities as storytellers. She hoped everyone would enjoy preforming together.

"Alright everyone. I think now is a good time to start our first activity," Sonya began, "We're going to start with you and a partner creating a scene with two people having lunch together. Take that as you will. You can prepare a script to go off of or improv the scene. You can chose your partner or if you aren't familiar with anyone here, come to me and I'll partner you up with someone. Let's get started!" Sonya smiled as she looked around at everyone and waited to see if anyone needed to be partnered up or had any questions.
