Madi clutched her little sister's hand as they walked over to the ice cream parlor. Their mother had said they could go while they looked through all the shops.
"What do you want, Analia? Ice cream, milkshake, popsicle, or a sundae?" Madi asked her sister once they arrived.
"Ice cream!" Ana exclaimed. "Ice cream it is." Madi giggled. She looked for what she wanted, and once she decided, she went up to order. She was honestly surprised that many of the flavors here were really similar to the ones back home.
"Hi! Can I have a two scoops ice-cream and a classic treat?" she asked, smiling brightly at the woman who worked there.
"Of course, dear! Your total is nine sickles." Madi counted the silver currency and handed it to her. She went back to get the ice cream and gave it to Madi.
"Let's go find a table, Ana." Madi said, and she walked over to an empty table with four seats and sat in one of the chair. Once Analia got into her chair, Madi handed her the classic treat ice cream. She knew Ana would like that one.
Ana began to lick her ice cream. "Is it good?" Madi asked her sister, who beamed brightly and nodded in response. Her face was covered in vanilla and chocolate, and Madi grabbed a napkin to wipe it away. She giggled and dove into her ice cream again. Madi licked her own and laughed at Ana.
