The Gryffindor Table 2018-2019
The book! Lily remembered that book very well, it was the book She had given Jane for Christmas. She didn’t expect them to keep it or even read it at that. As Jay stood up and Signaled for Lily to fallow Lily smiled up at Jay And stood , following them to the doors. Coming up close behind them, she grabbed Jay’s hand and ran. Dragging Jay behind her, she pushed the wood doors open and sprinted down the halls.
“Keep up Jane!” Lily shouted as she attempted to drag Jane down the corridors. The corridors of the school weren’t the cleanest but they weren’t filthy, they had small patches of moss or some type of interesting Feces. The tiled flour eather had dirt or water that had leaked from up above. As Lily tightened her grip on Jay’s ice like hand she started to slow as they came up to a window that showed the water. It was the most beautiful thing Lily had ever seen, maybe even better than the Thestrals. Pushing Jay In front of the window she pointed to the explosion of colors radiating from the sun. What If Jane didn’t like Sunsets, what if they would get mad that she dragged them down the corridors.

The Gryffindor Table 2018-2019
"GRYFFINDOR!"
Joshua snapped out of his trance, he had been staring at his fumbling hands since he first sat on the small wooden stool. The houses didn't mean much to Josh. Only what they stood for. Ravenclaw: for the witty and wise, Hufflepuff: for the kind and loyal, Slytherin: for the ambitious and cunning, and Gryffindor: for the brave and unyielding. His mother had been a Gryffindor herself. She always spoke of her time at Hogwarts, the things she had learned. He looked forwards to Defense Against the Dark Arts, most. He wanted to learn about the spells he could use against dangerous beasts. He tended to like danger and adventure. It's the only thing that really made him happiest.
As Joshua sat the table, his expression distant and straightforward, he sat there so, silently eating the food that had appeared. Many of the newcomers were socializing and introducing themselves. Talking about how excited they were, but Joshua simply listened. Making friends with strangers and starting conversations was never really his thing. So he looked around at the other tables, but quickly turned back around when a Slytherin glared at him from across the room. He sat his head in his hand and messed with his food for a while, contemplating what the rest of his year would be like.

GRYFFINDOR!
Fenix smiled widely. Wow! Some pretty great wizards have come from Gryffindor!, he thinks as he now realizes that he has to find somewhere to sit down...
His tummy was all knotted up as he slowly walked towards the Gryffindor table and sits next to another first year he'd seen be sorted just before him.
As he took in the site of all the food laid before him, his tummy knots melted. The site of the juicy roasted meats, savory pastries, and bright puddings reminded him of holidays at the farm and his stomach was able to settle down so he could eat.
After loading his plate up with comfort, his mind was calm enough to take in his fellow Gryffindor students. One girl mentioned that her parents were Hufflepuffs and Fenix could relate until she had said she was glad she wasn't sorted into the same house. Fenix loved his dad, who was a Hufflepuff, and he was actually a bit sad that he couldn't share that with his father. But he was happy in Gryffindor just the same. He thought about all the many great wizards that have been in Gryffindor House and became a bit excited that he shared that with them. He looked at the blonde haired boy next to him who sat with his face in his hand.
"Hello, what about you? Did you expect to get sorted into Gryffindor?"

Ah yes..I see.. GRYFFINDOOR!
I jump a tad, startled by the sudden screech from the sorting hat...
Oh wait..i’m in Gryffindoor?
Unexpected but I’m still happy!
I skip over to the house table and look around myself, most people seem to be socializing already. I don’t know why I am so timid right now, normally this is not how I am. Most likely from the huge groups of people.
I would hate to intrude on any of their conversations.
“Ah, I can wait a second.”
I hum quietly to myself as I play with the hem of my sleeve. I never expected myself to get into the Gryffindoor house..well..to be honest, in Hogwarts at all.
I don’t know why but my confidence for it was always low. Gosh I can’t wait to make friends and graduate with them in the future!
I lift my head up and turn my gaze to the new house-mate sitting beside me,((can be anyone who chooses to sit by her))
Yes! This is my chance to get to know someone!
“Hi! My names Yejhun! Sorry to be a nuisance,I’m just looking forward to making some friends here.” I flash a genuine smile at them.

"Hmm... Mhm... GRYFFINDOR!"
Bicard's heart nearly leaped out of her chest with the hat's announcement and a wide smile stretched across her face. Quickly, one of the assistant teachers took her hand and lead her to the Gryffindor, patting her back in congratulation along the way.
She actually didn't care about which house she would be sorted into. Ever since getting her letter, she had been afraid that there had been a mistake or some kind of prank. While on the train, she had worried that maybe they would realize she didn't belong and send her home. Waiting in line to wear that hat, she was sure it would laugh and declare she wasn't fit for any house.
Now all of the doubt was gone. She was invited to be here, she wasn't turned back at the gates of the school, and she belonged within these walls. Belonged to a house that held more than her father and their pets.
Bicard felt her face heat up and quickly bowed her head so no one would see the tears she was blinking back. She's never felt so relieved or so happy.
@Yejhun Castro
Soon, her thoughts were interrupted by another student introducing herself, and Bicard quickly looked in the direction that voice came from, "I-I, Uh" Deep breath, "I'm Bicard. It's- It's nice to meet you!" The excitement was clear in her voice.

@Bicard Geimnu
My face surely lit up in a smile.
"Bicard ey? Unique name! Welcome to the Gryffindor house! I honestly couldn't believe it when I was sorted. But I wouldn't change it for anything!"
I put away my notebook and turned to properly face her. She seemed a bit shy, so maybe I could help with that.
" I-i'm sorry I scared you bud! I can get hyper when it comes to new people. If at any point you feel uncomfortable let me know." I let out a small laugh to lighten the mood, since Bicard seemed somewhat tense. I can't believe I was actually talking to someone now, I was all scared a bit ago for nothing! She seems nice..I hope she is. I decide to start up a subject.
" So what do you enjoy doing for fun if you don't mind me asking? I enjoy writing and drawing, creativity comes at me best whenever i'm alone sometimes. Silence can really do wonders. Oh boy i'm rambling, haha, sorry! So anyways how about you?" After my ramble I had asked her curiously.
I felt bad for talking a lot, it seems to happen sometimes.

"Thanks! You're n- You have a pretty name too!" Gryffindor, the house of the bold and adventurous. She almost giggled, knowing her dad would agree.
"It's okay, I'm j- I'm a little nervous, that's all." One hand slid into her pocket to feel her wand for a moment. Her wand, not one she borrowed from her dad, one that chose her. To say she was overwhelmed by everything was an understatement. Now she was talking to someone entirely new that wanted to be her friend!
"It's fine, I don't mind, really! I like reading and doing 3d puzzles. Oh-! A-and fishing, but I don't think we can do that here. Also card and board games! Bicard's head tilted a bit, "What do you write about- if you're okay with me asking?" She also wished she could see Yejhun's drawings, but Bicard tried not to think about that.
Now it was time to be like her dad. So much had changed despite everything, she was going to enjoy and work with what she had instead of hoping for more. Starting from here Bicard was determined to enjoy what she could with her new friend, instead of thinking about what she was missing out on.

The Gryffindor Table 2018-2019
Ruka didn't think he'd ever felt this strangely at home at such a foreign place after just a short time, but as he sat down at the Gryffindor table, surrounded by kids in red and gold colours, he immediately felt comfortable. He shook hands with a couple of older kids and nodded at a few he'd been standing with as they had waited to get sorted into their houses.
It didn't take much time for the rest of the first years to get sorted, and before too long, Ruka found himself staring at a feast unlike any he'd seen before. There were plates and bowls full of potatoes, meats and sauces; veggies in dozens of different varieties, stews and soups and puddings left and right. It was a stark contrast to the cheap sandwiches and occasional strawberry ice cream his dad usually managed to afford, and his stomach was too full far too soon.
He smiled as he licked his fingers off gravy and potato skins, looking all around the Great Hall; flying candles and ghosts drifting through walls and shivering students were everywhere. Never had he expected to end up in a place like this, not even after the discovery of his strange powers, and yet here he was.
Yes, he thought as he took a sip of pumpkin juice. He could definitely get used to this.

The Gryffindor Table 2018-2019
Julian made her way to the Gryffindor table. I must look confident, must look as proper and prim as the purebloods. With a gulp she sat down. She immediately felt a sense of peace, a sense of home. This was where she belonged. She stared at the mouthwatering feast before her. There was so much food! Meat, sauces, veggies, even pastries and breads. The food looked liked it belonged on a cooking show, not in front of her. It looked too good to eat... almost. With a huge grin, Julian piled food onto her plate.
"So good..." she murmured, then flushed and quickly glanced around the table. Please, please tell me no one noticed that. With a sigh, she continued eating. Her spirits quickly lifted in this magical school.
She took a moment to look around herself. Red and gold robes surrounded her. With a deep breath, she decided it couldn't hurt to try to make a friend. After all, this was a new start for her. She glanced around. There was a girl and a boy near her.
She took a deep breath. "Hello, I'm Julian." she introduced herself.

The Gryffindor Table 2018-2019
Ogla looked up. She was sitting between two students but definitely wasn't speaking to them. She had her elbows resting on the table, her fingers netted together, and her chin resting on her hands. She was staring off into space with a frown, thinking about something, but then she came back to reality. Realizing she had been daydreaming, Ogla's face heated a bit but then she just looked down at her food.
She had grabbed anything healthy. Being a non-starving vegan was hard sometimes, and maybe she'd have to start asking for specially cooked meals, but she didn't want to seem conceited, she was just reasonably picky about what she ate. Right now all she had own her plate was some broccoli, rice and beans, a slice of rye bread, and a cup of juice. The only thing she was really eating, or picking at, was the broccoli, and the juice was half down. Sighing, Ogla placed her hands into her lap and looked to the side, considering leaving.
Looking to the side, Ogla noticed some girl a little ways down the table, and she heard her greet some other kids. Bored, Ogla took her food and sat next to her. “Hey, you seem nice enough. I'm Ogla, you?”
