The gentle breeze of Autumn was slowly turning to Winter the further the days moved closer to December. Now being the month of November Quidditch season has begun along with many other sports.

The gentle frigid breeze gently lifted the dead leaves off of the cold frigid dirt ground. The dead leaves danced a silent dance in the gentle wind moving around the students that were outdoors during this frigid Sunday afternoon.

The gentle chatter of happy going students echoed around the courtyard. Many students stood around huddled in their groups gossiping and talking about the events that transpired a few days ago during the Quidditch matches. Some students seemed to chatter about classes. After all, it was nearing the winter break rather quickly.

Sitting on a nearby gray marbled bench rested Helena. The young girl seemed rather lost in thought she was hunched over holding her head in between her hands. Her cold sea blue gaze seemed lost in thought staring at the dead leaves that seemed to scurry around her feet.

Maybe it was just the thought of heading home for winter break that made Helena’s stomach uneasy to the point she rather take the backlash and stay at Hogwarts during the break, but she also knew better if she had done that her father would be infuriated for sure. After all, the young girl had already embarrassed the Rose family enough. It was only a month ago that she received the Howler that blasted Howler really ruined everything for her.

Helena could not help but be more upset with herself than anything. If it was not for that Howler maybe just maybe a certain ravenette haired girl would still be in her life. But why did that really matter to Helena? She had other friends who seemed to care about her, but why was it that she felt more heartbroken over losing Remedy that made her life miserable?

Helena sighed quietly to herself. Her eyes seemed hollow and cold. She knew she was not the same way that day, but faking it was the best way to handle the situation. Faking the best of both worlds she supposed.

Helena sat up stretching her arms leaning backwards slightly. Her icy cold steel blue eyes scanned the area and many students seemed to be rather happy. But why? Helena had no idea it was something Helena felt uncertain with. How to be truly happy was the question and the answer was something Helena wished she knew.

Leaning backwards slightly Helena went back to her thoughts watching the soft cream white clouds sluggishly pass by the sun hid slightly behind a small little puffball of a cloud as if it was playing a game of hide and seek. Getting lost in the scenery Helena was just enjoying the nature around her even though her thoughts seemed to be torturing her slowly. It made no sense to Helena why, but she really wished to find anything to distract herself really. Anything to take away the pain and guilt that she felt that was building inside of her.

The golden haired girl closed her eyes softly as her golden sun ray hair cascaded down her shoulders caressing her soft ivory pale heart shaped face. The collar of her dark honey turtleneck rested comfortably on her neck while the tannish khaki sweatpants seemed to keep her warm during this frigid afternoon.

Helena felt a bit comfortable and at peace even though things seemed to weigh heavily on her shoulder. She didn't quite understand why exactly, but she figured it will eventually reveal itself later down the road.

As I make my way towards the bench where I usually sketch, the gentle breeze carries the scent of blooming flowers, adding a touch of serenity to the atmosphere. The park is alive with the vibrant colors of nature, and the sun casts a warm golden glow upon everything it touches.

Amidst this picturesque scene, my eyes are drawn to a girl who stands out from the rest. She appears to be lost in her own world, completely absorbed in her thoughts.

Her eyes, a mesmerizing shade of ocean blue, flicker with a mix of curiosity and contemplation. Strands of honeydew blonde hair dance in the wind, framing her delicate face, which bears a hint of a smile that suggests a secret she holds close. Her youthful features, mirroring my own age, are adorned with a touch of innocence, yet there is an air of wisdom that seems to surpass her years.

I find myself captivated by her presence, intrigued by the enigmatic aura that surrounds her. It is as if she possesses a hidden depth, a well of emotions waiting to be discovered. I wonder what thoughts occupy her mind, what dreams she nurtures, and what stories she carries within her soul.

As I approach the bench, my footsteps echoing softly on the cobblestone path, I can't help but steal glances in her direction. She remains oblivious to the world around her, her gaze fixed on a distant point, perhaps lost in the labyrinth of her own imagination. I am drawn to her vulnerability, her ability to detach from reality and immerse herself in a realm of her own creation. With each step, my curiosity grows, and a desire to know her story takes hold of me. I wonder if she, too, seeks solace in this tranquil park, seeking refuge from the chaos of the outside world. Perhaps she finds inspiration in the beauty that surrounds us, just as I do. Or maybe, like me, she seeks an escape through art, using her own unique medium to express the emotions that reside within her.

As I finally make it to the bench, I thought about introducing myself and maybe making a new friend. With a friendly and sweet tone, I greet the girl, saying, "Hey there! I'm Aliana, nice to meet you." Politely, I extend my free hand for a handshake, leaving my other hand occupied with my art supplies.

The gentle breeze from the wind caressed Helena;s face as a few loose strands of her golden ray hair seemed to dance slightly. The young girl was lost in her own little world as she seemed lost in her own world.

The young girl seemed lost in her own world as she held her head in the palm of her hands. As the world seemed to keep moving around her she felt rather lost though that was what one would expect with the situations she has had to handle so far in her first year of Hogwarts.

A sweet tone fluttered around Helena. Glancing up the young girl gazed softly at a young girl that stood in front of her was a young first year girl with copper like hair. Helena examined the young girl quietly as the young girl spoke.

Snapping out of her daze slightly. Helena sat up a bit straighter holding her head up slightly offering a feign smile towards the young girl. Helena had to admit Aliana as she said seemed rather kind.

Taking the young girl's hand softly in hers, Helena shook it softly once before retracting her hand scooting over slightly to let the young girl sit beside her.

“My name is Helena. Helena Rose pleasure is all mine Aliana.”

Helena spoke softly in her poise elegant tone of voice as she gazed softly towards the newcomer that was near her. Helena continued to gaze softly at Aliana taking in her appearance the young girl noticed she had what looked like some art supplies with her.

The golden ray haired girl continued to gaze softly at Aliana thinking of something to say or what would be the best thing to say is what she was thinking honestly. Helena was not very well with strangers and sense winter break was coming shortly the young girl felt her nerves racking fairly high.

Shaking off a bit of her nerves the young girl continued to try and smile for the newcomer. Helena did not wish to be rude or anything and Aliana seemed rather nice to the young girl.

“Please sit. What brings you outside on this nice day?”

Helena spoke softly towards Aliana gesturing for the young girl to join her. She was curious. Though it was fairly nice it was still rather frigid outside. The wind would whip around as jack frost was nipping at poor folks noses, but Helena did not mind one bit; she quite enjoyed the cool weather that was for sure.

The gentle chilly wind caressing her cheeks tinting them slightly pink while the sun's rays tried their best to rain down upon the courtyard to warm up the grounds was highly welcomed but was a difficult thing to manage for the large star that rested high in the sky.

Helena waited patiently for the young girl to join her as she relaxed in the frigid outdoors.
