Exiting out of his very last class of the day, Jeremy Arroyo didn't go to the Slytherin Common room to do his homework. Instead, the young boy made his way to the library, which felt like his second home. Jeremy has been in the library almost everyday since he arrived at Hogwarts.

The young boy walked into the quiet library and walked around, looking at all the sections and all the books he passed by trying to see if any book would catch his eye, but nothing had caught his eye, yet. Jeremy then reached the Restricted Section and looked at it, then turned around not wanting to get into any trouble.

The young boy then made his way to the back of the library and saw a section full of books that he has seem in the muggle world. He happily walked over to the shelf and looked at all the books, seeing if any of the books will catch the young Slytherin's eye. Looking at the bottom of the shelf, a book had caught Jeremy's eye. He bent down and grabbed the book. He looked at the back of the book and read the summary, then skimmed through the book.

"This book seems interesting," Jeremy thinks while he looked at the book.

Once again, Sere's steps brought herself right in front of the wide-open dark-brown oak entrance, the library. Sere has just finished her last class for today, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, and they were discussed about the Ghosts. The discussion made Sere suddenly wanted to read a mystery novel. Ghosts are definitely related to mystery, right? I'm not start out wanting something random, amn't I? No no no. I'm sure that the sudden desire inside my brain arise over a still-definable logical relationship. Her monologue seemed full of denial.

Sere never visited library this late in the afternoon. At this time, usually she would leave the library and return to the dorm -put down all the books- and start studying. Typical of a studious. But today, still with her textbook in her arms, Sere stepped into the library, following what she wants. I will really just look for one book. It won't interfere my study.

While still trying to convincing herself that what she's doing is the right thing -not just an excuse of a lazy bum-, the British-Korean girl walking through the library which -although very familiar to her eyes- looked a little different in the late afternoon. The fireplace appears to emit brighter ray when the sun starts to set, providing a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The library turns out to be more beautiful.

Sere puts her textbook on one of the reading table and moves straight to a shelf that her steps could easily remember: the Fantasy Section. Sere is sure that the mystery books are on the same section.

Now she is right at the corner of the shelf, staring into the slightly-gloomy fantasy aisle. Sere realized that she's not the one searching for something in this section when she found the silhouette of a student bending his knee down. His bright green eyes lit up while skimming on a book in his hand.

Sere stepped silently, approached the boy, bent her body right behind him, and whispered, "Looking for some mysteries?"

No, she has no intention to surprise the boy, of course.

While reading the book summary, out of the corner of his eye, Jeremy saw a girl walk behind him and he heard her whisper to him. He smiled and nodded his head then turned around and showed the book that he was already holding to her.

"You bet! I love mysteries. This book here is a mystery novel that takes place in a fantasy setting. There's another book here, want it?" Jeremy says to the girl.

Jeremy wasn't surprised by the girl at all. In fact, he didn't really get surprised easily if someone walked up to him. He knew that from elementary school since on Halloween one time his friends tried to scare him, but he ended up scaring them instead. But, Jeremy knew that the girl didn't have any intentions of scaring him.

"Oh! I'm Jeremy, by the way. What's your name?" Jeremy says introducing himself to the girl.

He looked closer at the girl and noticed that she was wearing red and black robes, meaning that she was in the gryffindor house. Jeremy wasn't sure what the other houses were like and really wanted to know, so he asked,
"What's Gryffindor like? I'm a Slytherin and the whole common room is green. Not to mention the common room is in the dungeons, I think under the lake, but I'm not sure,"

Still bent over, Sere took the book from the green-eyed boy' hand, "A combination of mystery and fantasy? Interesting." Sere reads the blurb at the back of the book while moving to crouched next to the boy who introduced himself as Jeremy.

"I'm Sere, Sere Nade. First Year of Gryffindor," Sere returned the book in her hand to Jeremy, "You found a very interesting book. Then, I will follow your recommendation." Sere looked at the bottom shelf and found the 'another book' that Jeremy stated before. A mystery book that is very suitable for hampering her study, even though Sere herself is reluctant to admit this.

"Ah, you're right," Sere looked back on Jeremy's green-accent robe, "As I said earlier, I'm a Gryffindor." The obsidian-eyed girl began to skimming through Jeremy's recommended mystery-fantasy book that caught her attention as she continued, "I think Gryffindor is on the right place. It's not too far up -although it's still tiring to go up and down that far to the fifth floor every day- and it's not too underground either," Sere holds the novel in her arms, "I once heard about Slytherin from one of the First Years. Your house is indeed pretty cold because it is placed underground, but the ambitions you are all have is really heating it up. Not to mention that the kitchen is closest to your house... making it easier for you guys to sneak out and stealing some foods when you're hungry in the middle of the night."

Sere opened her mouth, about to ask more about Jeremy, but a lot of footsteps approached the shelves in a sudden, and Sere heard some whispers from students who are putting their books back on the shelves.

Ah, dinner time is nearly come? How could I forget that I entered this library very close to the dinner? Sere cleared her throat, "Nice to meet you, Jeremy. I am finding a good mystery, thanks to you," Sere got up, "I still have to borrow this book, and I heard that the dinner is coming. I will talk to you later. Again... thank you." Sere shook the book in her right hand as she waved and walked away from the Slytherin boy.

It's too bad that Sere is in a hurry and they couldn't talk much. It would be very interesting to talk about riddles, conspiracies and mysteries with people who apparently has the same interest as her. Sere takes her textbooks and is about to walk over to the librarian's desk to borrow the book. I hope I'll meet him again another time. Does he also often visit the library? Ah, I forgot to ask him about that!

Sere turned back towards the fantasy shelf and about to ask Jeremy about it, but then she shook her head and immediately turned back and focused on what she's initially want to do: borrowing the book. Maybe Jeremy had left the library, or maybe he is busy on browsing another shelves. I will find him on my next visit. I still have some probabilities to meet him again, right?
