Oopsie Doodles Part 1 PV

Lilyanabell Lumen was, to be frank, really quite terrible at Potions. So when by some miracle it seemed as if the Forgetfulness Potion had been brewed correctly, she grinned widely. Right before it exploded a little bit in her face. Now things were back to normal again... oh well, a few seconds of success. The rest of the few minutes remaining in the class had been spent putting whatever wasn't making that odd popping noise in a vial, and cleaning the rest of it. She turned in her potion along with the other students and left quickly, wondering if she would ever manage to successfully brew anything in that class.

It got pretty frustrating, sometimes. Ever since the first Potions lesson, she'd somehow managed to make an explosion or eruption out of every single recipe. Not a single charm hadn't backfired on her or ended in some temporary yet shameful disaster. Her English writing skills weren't good enough yet to pass any assignment without copious amounts of help, and to be perfectly honest her speech was possibly worse. Of course none of this was exactly all her fault, though she supposed she was at least partially to blame for all of it. She shoved that thought out of her mind.

Lunch was over, and so were all the classes for today. As usual, the cripple began the tedious process of climbing up the stairs and desperately hoping that nobody would try to bump into her. Being stable on moving staircases when you're supporting yourself with crutches is no easy task. She let out a small and breathless, "thank Merlin..." when she reached the top of the stairs, but all of a sudden she froze. Where was she going? What was she doing? Without her knowledge, a drop or two of the content of that wayward potion had found their way into her mouth, and now they were taking effect.

She looked around blankly for a moment, before her gaze slid down to her clothes. "Wha' am I wearing?" her voice inquired of herself in a semi-hysterical giggle, "i' is so long and swishy!" Whatever part of her poor mind that was desperately clinging on to reality slipped away, and the resulting fit of giggles that followed was admittedly rather frightening. She continued to utter nonsense as once again the crutches made a hollow echo in the hall, and she headed off in a completely random direction. That lead her ultimately, to a tower.

She stood there for quite a long time before some other student noticed her in passing with a puzzled expression. "What are you doing there? Jumping into the lake?" and they went along their way. Unfortunately for them, Lily did not think that such a suggestion was foolish. Why not go swimming? That actually sounded kind of fun. So without so much as a second thought, or to be perfectly honest without a first thought, she climbed onto the windowsill, and fell out. SMACK! went her body against numerous structures multiple times, until finally SPLASH! and her form temporarily disappeared under the frigid waters.
