Alex sighed as he looked around the huge castle. He'd already explored outside, pity it was so cold. He opened the doors to a new room. He smiled slightly, knowing he would love this place. In the corner was a big grand piano, and scattered around the room were multiple instruments like guitars, violins, etcetera. He calmly walked into the room and sat down on the piano stool. This was probably one of his favorite rooms he'd entered so far. He stood back up and grabbed the guitar. Alex didn't play it often, but he may as well, for the song he was going to sing was easy to play on the guitar. If only he had someone who know how to play better than him. He sighed and strummed the strings and started to play.

Miko had heard some singing in here, sounding like a familiar voice too. The song was not in a familiar language but the song sounded beautiful even though he couldn't understand a word from it. Quietly he walked in and immediately saw who the music was coming from. None other than Alex, the boy he had met at the Great Lake. Wow, and here the boy was thinking the only think wrong with the Ravenclaw was that he didn't seem to sing nor play any instrument but here he was, singing his heart out and playing a piano.
When the Hufflepuff walked in, Cheong didn't seem to notice so he went over to the wall near the piano but not next to it and leaned his back on it. Limof listened closely to how the other sung, in a high voice but smooth and beautiful which was quite similar to Miko except his voice normally when singing when he didn't alter it was a bit lower than his normal voice but it gave a lot of expression when the voice was showed.
The lad was in a daze while Alex was singing, his eyes sparkled as he nodded his head to the beat. It was a nice song with good piano music being played with it, Miko likes it that's for sure.

Alex smiled and kept singing. He'd consider himself a pretty good singer from the feedback he got, not the best obviously (He was still young of course).

Alex kept on singing until the song and Miko just kept listening and nodding his head to the beat all up until it ended. Once the song ended, all he did was clap and smile and he turned to face the Ravenclaw boy. Alex said that whatever he sung was bad and the Huffle just laughed for a good minute and a half.
"Good joke, mate. Alex that was awesome, I loved it!" The lad complimented Cheong, of course he did.
If he had not made it clear the previous time Miko was actually really fond of the other boy. He was great after all, he made Limof smile all the time just thinking about him and it drove him crazy when Alex would put himself down. It was like the Raven didn't see how much potential he had, or how cute he was or even how kind and helpful he was. From this point it was officially the Hufflepuff's job to make it known that Alex Cheong is the best Ravenclaw there is, no doubt about it.
Now there was one question left.
"Who are you singing about? Anyone, in particular?"
Of course Miko wasn't getting his hopes high, or maybe he was but that was besides the point. All that mattered was the answer to the question at the moment.

Miko laughed as he told Miko it wasn't good. What? Did he do something wrong? He only was telling the truth, though. He didn't like his voice, but he loved to sing. Miko stopped laughing after a bit and Alex tilted his head with a small chuckle. He said it was amazing and that saying it was bad was a joke. Alex shook his head with a pout on his lips. "I wasn't joking, but thank you. I bet you're way better than me at this sort of thing." he said with a small smile. Alex hadn't seen the other boy since they'd met at the lake and played football together with a pinecone and invented cookie powa, which was superior to EVERYTHING. Alex really liked the other boy, but he knew that he didn't like him back. Alex thought he was perfect, unlike himself. Miko asked if the song was about in anyone in particular. Alex got all flustered again. Shoot shoot shoot shooooooooottt. Think Alex think. What should you say now? You obviously can't say the truth, he'd think you were a creep. He stuttered. "U-um, uh, w-well, yes." he said the last part quietly, a blush creeping up his face. Shoot.

Nodding, Miko accepted Alex's reply. He decided that he wouldn't argue about how good Alex was at singing because he knew that the Ravenclaw was great. "I suppose I could be but there is always room for improvement, right?" A generous smile crept across his face as he pulled back his black hair, gently as he watched Alex become flustered. It was cute, Miko remembered when being flustered was his main emotion now he got everyone else flustered, some day he would have to teach Cheong how to do the same, eh?
"Who is this lucky guy? Is he cute? Kind? Make you laugh?" The Limof child smirked as he waited for Alex's reply. Ah, how naive, Miko hasn't even noticed that it's him! Very adorable, and neither did the other, I mean honestly it is always difficult for him to wrap his head around the fact that someone actually envies him which Alex should understand seeing as both have a negative eleven self image so, you know all the good stuff.
Being the guy he is, the Hufflepuff already had his guitar in the locker in the back, ready for a moment like this. Of course he never sung to just anyone, only people who he really cared about like Rowan, his family and soon to be Alex! Miko was already thinking of a song to play for Alex, like scrolling through many records in his brain, he had learned hundreds of songs over the years and his practice still went on even if he didn't have all the time in the world to practice.

Alex nodded. ”True, true, we are young still, after all.” he said in thought. He did this a lot, where he’d just think for a while, a slight pout on his face as he thought about what had been said. He turned to Alex with a raised eyebrow. ”How do you know it’s a boy, hmmmmm?” he said jokingly. ”Nah I’m kidding, of course it’s a boy. Yes, he does do all that. And no. More. Questions.” he said, bopping Miko’s nose, a blush still prominent on his face. That’s another thing he did. Boop people. He did it to EVERYONE. It got on people’s nerves sometimes, like his older brother, who Alex could barely reach his nose, and he would grab Alex and swing him around in circles super fast or tickle him. Alex hates being tickled. Especially on his neck. Whoever did that to him must be very close and then, only then, will Alex be okay with it (somewhat, it just means he won’t kill you.) Alex sighed and sat back down, quite tired from being surprised and all. An idea suddenly flashed in his head. He looked at Miko with a sparkle in his eyes. ”Could you sing? I want to hear you.”

The question seemed to make Miko perk up immediately, he even forgot the boop. "Me? Sing for you? Sure." He decided to play it cool instead of freakin out like he normally would have. The Hufflepuff swung around and practically skipped over to the locker holding his guitar, then unlocking it. The guitar strap went around his neck and Miko pulled a stool to the middle of the room where some light was shining down on him like a spotlight, then sitting on the stool.
Miko thought of one song at the moment, Inner Demons. It was a good song and it summed up how he used to feel before Hogwarts. Strumming a note, the lad finally began.

"They say don't let them in...close your eyes and clear your thoughts again, but when I'm alone they show up on their own. 'Cause Inner Demons fight their battles with fire, Inner Demons don't play by the rules..." So on and so forth, you probably don't want to read all the lyrics and I don't want to type them so just listen to the song. Miko sang the best he could which is considered like adult level singing in his countertenor voice for this certain song.
Once he finished singing, the Hufflepuff let out a large sigh and got up, puttin away the guitar and slamming the door shut after it was in. Miko moved the stool back where he found it and bowed. "What do you think?"

Alex sat down while crossing his legs. ”Yay! Thank you!” he said with a small clap and his eyes shining. He saw Miko head over to the guitar thing, practically skipping there. He held back a giggle as Miko came back while smiling brightly. Alex waited patiently for Miko to sit down on the stool. This was going to be great. He hadn’t heard someone else sing in a while. His brother would sing once in awhile, but he preferred rapping over singing. Alex was the exact opposite. He couldn’t rap to save his life. Alex brought his knees to his chest as Miko began singing. It wasn’t a song that Alex was familiar with, but he swayed along to the beat, listening to the words. It was quite a sad song, it reminded him of his father in a way actually. His dad was quite depressed, but Alex knew he tried to hide it from his two children. Alex barely saw him, partly because he was back at his manor in China. Alex smiled sadly, still swaying back and forth, and when he wasn’t focusing, he felt like he was falling, and he was, he fell on his side. God dang it. He pushed himself up and looked at Miko with a big smile. ”That was amazing!” he said.
