First of all, this is how it starts:
“Yeah I know. You guys are going to read about how I died in agony, and you’re going to be like, ‘Wow! That sounds cool, Magnus! Can I die in agony too?’
No. Just no.
Don’t go jumping off any rooftops. Don’t run into the highway or set yourself on fire. It doesn’t work that way. You will not end up where I ended up.
Besides, you wouldn’t want to deal with my situation. Unless you’ve got some crazy desire to see undead warriors hacking one another to pieces, swords flying up giants’ noses, and dark elves in snappy outfits, you shouldn’t even think about finding the wolf-headed doors.
My name is Magnus Chase. I’m sixteen years old. This is the story of how my life went downhill after I got myself killed.”
The chapter names!!
It’s so addicting, I read the first book in 5 days! (Note that it’s over 500 pages and has 72 chapters)
The diversity!!! I mean: The main character is a formerly homeless, pansexual atheist. He’s friends with a 5’5”, fashionable dwarf of color; a deaf elf from a world where everything should be perfect (and he’s not); a Muslim Valkyrie who dreams of flying; and a gender fluid person who loves pottery, who also used to be homeless, and who the mc has a huuuge crush on and it’s so cute. And those are just like the main main characters
Fierrochase is like the cutest ship in the world!!! Or should I say nine worlds? I mean, try to tell me that this picture is NOT adorable:

You can’t, can you
The fact that at the end of the series Magnus and Alex turned Uncle Randolph’s mansion, which they had no use for, into a home for homeless people to stay as long or as little as they like, because they both know what it’s like to be homeless.
Literally everything about it.

Honestly, why do people judge? People need to learn to accept. To look past race, gender, age, sexuality, and appearances. To be open-minded. To give people a chance. To rid their hearts of hate and learn to love others for who they are. That is my wish.

v Ummm... who is your least favorite book/fictional character?
For me it’s Umbridge from Harry Potter, Octavian from Heroes of Olympus, and Alderman from Magnus Chase
