Interacting with @Nora De Carie and @Lucian Mornstern

Backdated to first year.
On any other night, breaking curfew to head to the kitchens would have been a bad idea, but tonight, Qrow didn't see the point in worrying; they had already had detention tonight - bloody ‘Le ferret’ - and quite frankly they were rather done with playing by the rules; prefects were spoil sports anyways, and they lost their ‘cool privileges’ as soon as they made a tosser like Avery Leveret one of them.

They had only left to go and get drinks, but upon entering the kitchens - they had to tickle the pear on a painting to get in, and it started an argument between Lucian and Qrow very quickly with neither wanting to do such a weird task; Nora had called them both cowards, thus spurring on a new argument over who got to tickle the pear; it was a whole ordeal - they had been overwhelmed with so much choice, and the house elves were so sweet and ready to serve them regardless of the timing, that they had ended up leaving with a little bit of everything.

So here they were, their pockets overflowing with sweets and snacks, and a package of cartoned pumpkin juice under their right arm, somebody had taken a case of butterbeer, and Nora had collected a hefty amount of both muggle and wizarding crisps - the former Qrow was absolutely going to steal some of - in the dungeons with the newly named Apollo and Circe, on their way back to the Slytherin common room and playing 20 questions with the other two serpent students.

Unlike their companions, Qrow was still wide awake; it wasn't the first all nighters they had pulled and it was certainly not going to be the last. It was however, their first with company and while Lucian Mornstern was - for lack of a better description - a blood-purist twat, he was growing on them; not unlike mould…
Nora was always fun; Qrows fondness had only grown for her since the spring ball and while the metamorph was unsure what the girl thought of them, they regarded her as a close friend (probably their best-friend if they were pushing it) and it was nice to hang around her again; even nicer to be by her side breaking rules and getting up to mischief.
If they were being honest, it was nice to have such talkative friends in their own house; Mahlioz was great for when they needed some quiet, but she wasn't the best when it came to an extended conversation.

It was very early in the morning; so early that it would be surprising to see any prefects awake, even seeing a teacher this early would be odd. The portraits were not happy to have the bright light emitting from Qrows wand shoved in their faces, and the meaner ones that lined the walls if the dungeons were quite verbal about the fact.

Needless to say, if the redhead knew how to curse a portrait, they would…

"So,” they started, glaring at a portrait of an old Slytherin head of house with greasy black hair as they passed, “What's your favourite subject? I like potions!” At that, the portrait stopped glaring and left, “oh, and astronomy and Defence Against The Dark Arts too!”
