Closed The story of the root ft. Leaf Shard

As she reached the bottom of the stairs, Hailey paused slightly, absently looking up the flight of stairs. Her heart was beating a little fast and she urged herself to remain as calm as possible. It wasn't by giving in to panic that she would get to the infirmary any faster.
Inhaling sharply, she grabs the railing and places her painless foot on the first step, hoists up the second and starts again.
It was then that she heard the sound of footsteps behind her. The blonde turns around to see who is there. Surely Leaf who is going up to her quarters. Where is the Ravenclaw common room again? Isn't it in one of the towers? Hopefully she doesn't get sick because of me. But sure, there isn't many ways to get there, silly me.

Hailey then meets Leaf's gaze and gives her a little embarrassed smile and leans against the railing to let her pass.
“After you,” she breathes, returning her gaze to the steps above them.
Too bad that this castle hasn't any elevator even for injured people or...
Wait, is there any disabled people at Hogwarts ? Surely, the school is inclusive so it surely is. But, Hailey is pretty sure she didn't see any. Weird.
