@Cassandra Ironwoods as Ronnie
Summer. Finally, it was summer. School days were over, the sun was burning on her skin, people were happier, and another year at Hogwarts had passed. It was the first time Haley had not attended Summer Camp, but the anticipation of this summer was too big for her to be sad. After saying goodbye to her friends and the Scottish Highlands, it was time for a new adventure. Haley could not describe in words how much she was looking forward to the next few weeks and she was happier than she had ever been.

Back home, it was unpack suitcases, pack new suitcases, and there wasn't much time as the Rose family traveled on. Haley walked through the green flames, caught sight of the familiar ice-blue eyes and immediately dropped her suitcase. She, as well as the one across from her, sprinted at each other, laughing and shouting at the top of her lungs, "IAAAN!" The tall boy wrapped his cousin in his arms and spun in a circle with her. "Oh by Merlin, Hales! You've gotten so huge, your hair even longer, and somehow you look all grown up." The last part was rewarded with a punch to the pit of his stomach but Ian just kept laughing. "And yet you haven't changed a bit." Haley laughed out loud, at that moment everything felt perfect. She hugged her aunt and uncle in greeting, the rest of her cousins were unfortunately away for the vacations, but as long as she could finally see Ian again, she was happy.

Said cousin took Haley's suitcase to his room, where the guest bed was already set up for her. She would spend the next two weeks with the family before redeeming her birthday present. A surf camp on the American coast. But the best part was that Ronnie would also be attending the surf camp. After Haley arrived, it was already time to say goodbye to her parents. "Have a really great time honey! We'll see you again in four weeks!" Haley gave her dad and mom a tight hug before they traveled back to London.

She spent the rest of the time until afternoon with Ian and his parents in the garden, eating lunch together, quizzing Haley about school and especially about her boyfriend. They laughed a lot, kept up with each other, and were already having a memorable time together. In the afternoon, Ian grabbed the keys from the van and took Haley to the beach. There they met some of Ian's friends, some she knew from before, others were new. They all had their surfboards with them and wanted nothing more than to get out on the ocean. It had been ages since Haley last stood on a surfboard, but Ian and one of his best friends took extra time to give her some private lessons. She was incredibly happy about this attention and with some luck and practice all the sooner she could move up to the advanced course at Surf Camp.

Haley spent most of the first day barely able to get up on the board or crashing into the waves after a few seconds. But it wasn't demotivating, by the first break she already had incredible sore muscles in her stomach from laughing so hard. They all sat together on the beach, eating fruit, laughing, and most importantly, Haley was blindsided by quite a few questions from Ian's friends. "It's nice to finally meet you. Ian talks so much about his cousin, who is more like his little sister." "Is it true you broke your ex's nose?" "Tell us an embarrassing story about Ian!" and so on and so forth. The vacations were already starting to be so carefree, with so much joy, Haley didn't even want them to end.

After the group had gained enough strength, they all went out to the sea again. This time, Ian's best friend's little brother took care of Haley. He was her age, but the two did not know each other until today. She watched Ian and Pat, her two surf instructors, master the waves and hoped she would be just as good someday. "Don't worry, I'm a much better teacher. Soon you'll be much better than them." Haley couldn't help but laugh, shaking her head. "Liam, as much as I wish you were right, I doubt it." Haley and Liam paddled out to sea where the private surfing lesson continued.

The next few days always went the same, in the morning Haley went for a run, sometimes with Ian, sometimes without. They had breakfast and lunch together with Ian's parents, played some games or went for a walk. In the afternoons, the two went to the beach, where they met up with Ian's friends and Haley became more confident on the surfboard each day. In the evenings, they often still sat together on the beach, made a campfire, and lived life as it was really only known from the movies. They played silly games, laughed, told each other scary stories, but that only made them laugh even harder.

By the end of the week, Haley was able to get on the board and ride smaller waves on her own and she was more than ready for surf camp. But she was even more ready for Ronnie. She couldn't wait to finally see him again and the anticipation was hard to suppress. It was Friday and the camp would start on Saturday. Ian was doing a summer job at the camp and so she helped him with preparations on Friday and got to know the other coaches and owners of the Beach House. They were grateful for every helping hand and so Haley could make herself useful.

The surf camp was only a few meters from the beach, you had a perfect view of the sea. To the left and right of the Beach House were two large white tents built, stepped inside, a large room stretched out, which was comfortably furnished. There were several bunk beds and two bathrooms. Haley covered all the beds while Ian and Pat took care of waxing the surfboards. Two other instructors, Liz and Ashley went over the equipment, made a packet with all the necessities for each student and decorated the outdoor lounge. Louis, the owner of the Beach House then brought Haley into the kitchen to assist. Louis was already older, but in his head he remained incredibly young, a real surfer. He was funny, always in a good mood and also grateful for Haley's help.

Until the evening everything was prepared for the arrival the next day and as an ending and thank you Louis took care of a BBQ in the evening with campfire and music. They sat on the beach for a long time that evening, going over the plan for the next day and all getting to know each other a little better. They were all older than Haley, but like with Ian, she got along great with all of them. She kept hearing that the others thought she was older, but Haley had heard that all her life. Maybe it was Ian, maybe it was her parents' upbringing, or maybe she was just a mature kid. Haley requested to help with breakfast the next morning, which Louis only gratefully accepted. This way Haley could help and at the same time greet Ronnie right there when he arrived.

That night Haley could hardly sleep, she was so excited and could hardly wait for the next morning. After what felt like an eternity, her mind still managed to shut down and after what felt like 10 seconds, it was finally the next morning. Even though Haley had slept very little, she was fitter than ever. Before breakfast, Ian and she drove to the Beach House. Ian was preparing with Liz and Ashley for the arrival of the course participants. Ashley and Ian would pick up some participants at the airport together, while Liz would take care of those arriving via Floo powder. Haley, on the other hand, was in the kitchen, chopping fruit, setting a long table with all the food, doing some decorating, and chatting with Louis. Meanwhile, she was checking her watch every few minutes, getting more nervous by the minute, "Louis, when do you think they'll be back?" Louis just laughed, "Haley, it doesn't go faster just because you ask more often." Haley stuck her tongue out at him while the chilled water bottles and fresh orange juice were spread out on the long table.

"THE CAB SERVICE IS BACK!" Ian voice rang out across the beach to the Beach House. Eyes blazing, Haley turned and her green eyes searched until, after a few seconds, they could make out her target. She sprinted off and ran straight at Ronnie. Her long red hair was blowing in the wind, there was a big smile on her face and as soon as she was just in front of him, she took a big leap and wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. A little rough the two landed in the sand, but Haley didn't care. "By Merlin, I missed you so much!" she laughed into the pit of his neck and then gave him a kiss on the cheek. Before standing up, she took her boyfriend into another tight hug before intertwining her fingers with his and leading him to the Beach House.

After all the attendees arrived, they were greeted by Louis and his crew. Ian's gaze lay a bit critical of Ronnie every now and then, but only when Haley looked did he smirk and wink at her. After Louis greeted the troop of young people, he clapped his hands in delight. "Okay Guys. We have two big tents, you can put your stuff in the tents. The accommodations are mixed and you can split up however you want. Put your bags and backpacks on the beds and then we'll have breakfast together. Afterwards you have some time to settle in and make yourselves comfortable in the tents. After that, we'll move on to a big training session together. Depending on how that goes, we can get out on the water this afternoon."

After Louis finished there was a short applause and breakfast was opened. There was conversation across the table, getting to know each other but Haley's attention was especially on Ronnie. After they finished, everyone moved into the tents. Haley led Ronnie with her into the leftmost tent, swiftly climbing onto the top bunk on the right. "I'm sleeping on top!" she laughed, putting her bags down.

Ronnie could not remember when was the last time he took on his surfboard and riding the wave until day turned into dusk. It feels like eternity when in reality it is. Between attending at a magical; school located deep in the Amazon jungle. staying on top of his academic career in the said school, Duelling, and his school work, Ronnie had barely the time to do one of his favorite pastimes which is surfing.

And so, Ronnie made a promise to himself, once the school let out and summer rolled in, the Brazilian boy will take out his surfboard and ride the wave to his heart's content. Every day - once Summer rolled in - Ronnie would catch a ride with one of his friends or with whoever would go to the downtown beach of São Paulo.

It was one particular afternoon, a few hours before the end of the daylight, Ronnie was too immersed in himself and the wave that the ride on, he did not see someone waiting for him at the shore of the beach. When Ronnie looked up whilst curving through the wave, he did see his oldest sister raising her hand high up in the air waving at him.

The Duellist wave back but what he did not calculate was the big wave that chasing him. Ronnie lost his footing and crashed into the sea. It took a few bit moments until Ronnie come up to the water again. Once he emerged from the deep water, Ronnie swam a bit until his feet could feel the sand floor beneath him.

Dragging his surfboard to where his oldest sister stood Ronnie then stands before Alex. "What's up?"The Duellist asked his sister. His hair was still damped from the sea and his body glistened because of the water. Alex let out a small chuckle. "Glad I still could distract you,"It was what she replied.

Ronnie walks a bit with Alex falling into steps beside her youngest brother. The boy then bend down a bit to grab his beach towel and dried off. He stick the surfboard in a standing position and took a seat on the sand. Whereas Alex brushed her cream-colored work attire first before doing what her brother had done a few seconds ago.

"How was the wave, Dré?"The Magizoologist enquired to her brother. Ronnie took a quick glance once he detected there was a longing tone in his sister's voice. "I had a good run until you messed it up for me," Ronnie replied back and stuck his tongue out toward his sister. Alex let out a chuckle again.

The blue-grey eyes boy then averted his eyes from his sister to the calming wave that crashed into the shore. "I never had the chance to say thank you for all those years you teach me how to surf," The boy then leaned his half-dried hair onto his sister's blazer-covered shoulder. Alex then patted Ronnie's head lovingly.

"Even though nowadays I could not enjoy the wave as you do, I am glad you love it as I did," The oldest child of the Ramírez clan said. "You will be back into the sea soon, I'm sure" Ronnie replied to his sister. The two then watch the sunset while catching up with what's going on in their life.

Once the two were back at home, Ronnie cleaned himself up while Alex was somewhere around the house. Dinner comes and goes. Once it was done, Rnnie retreated to his room. There was a knock on the door. Ronnie then gave permission to whoever knocked on his bedroom door again. It was Alex and just like back at the beach, Ronnie asked his sister what was up.

Alex then grabbed one of Ronnie's duffle bags and throw it at him. "Pack your bag," Alex ordered. Looking at his sister confuse, still he complies."Where are we going?"The soon-to-be fifth-year questioned his sister. "We're going to America," Alex said as she parked herself on top one of the corner of Ronnie's bed.

"On what occasion?"He asked again. "I have a business to attend at MACUSA while you will attend surfing camp," Alex explained. Ronnie stopped for a brief second to make sure he heard it right. Upon seeing the look Ronnie gave to his oldest sister, Alex let out a small laugh. "I know you have been dying to go to one," Alex replied as she fall down to the bed after Ronnie tackle hug her as a way of saying thank you to his sister.

The travel that both Alex and Ronnie had to take from Brazil to America was exhausting and tedious. And finally, both of them arrived on American soil. The Ramírez siblings part ways when Alex had to go to the Beast department and Ronnie took the floor powder to where the surf camp will be held.

It did not take too long until Ronnie followed the flocks of youngsters who will attend the same camp as him. He then met a British-Thai mixed girl along the way named Cherine. Ronnie could feel someone run towards him when he was talking to Cherine. When Ronnie saw who ran up toward him, he had a smile that was so bright it could blind you.

"Hey, lo-oomph!"The impact of how hard Haley crashed into him brings both of them down to the sand. Ronnie let out a raspy laugh when he heard how much the redhead of his girlfriend misses her. "I miss you too," He said in return as he kissed the top of Haley's head. After the pair exchange hug and kisses, both of them stand straight up again.

Slowly the surf campers arrived and not before long someone - who Ronnie would safely to assume was the leader of the surf counselors - gave a brief speech about some details for the camp and what activities will entail for the first day. When the speech was over and breakfast had been done, his princess led him to the leftmost tent.

Haley swiftly climbed up and claimed the top bunk. Ronnie grinned at Haley's cute antics. "Fine by me. mi cariña my darling" He said as he put down his military-style duffle bag and claimed the lower bunk. Ronnie then wondered when Haley arrived. It seems she arrived before him or perhaps at the same time as him.

Regardless of what time his girlfriend arrived at the camp, the boy need to feed his curiosity."When did you arrive, mi amor? my love" He inquired his other half. Ronnie's blue-grey eyes then scanned the room. "This is a nice surprise, no?"He continued on. "I mean I thought when Alex said she had to go to America to attend her Ministry of Magic thing and I need to go with her, I will be bored out of my mind"He kept rambling out.

"But being here - especially with you - I know this summer will be the best summer ever" Ronnie uttered as he unpacked the stuff he brings with him.

@Cassandra Ironwoods as Ronnie
While Haley made herself comfortable on her bed and Ronnie occupied the lower bed for himself, she was beaming. She was glad Ronnie didn't see her like this. She always felt silly sitting there like that but she was like a naive girl in love. But it had felt like forever since she had last seen Ronnie. Since the last time she could hug him, kiss him, they could just talk. She knew this was going to be the best summer vacation ever. She could finally see Ronnie and besides, she could spend time with her family and especially with Ian.

After Ronnie asked her how long she had been here and scanned the room with his eyes, she hung upside down from her bed and grinned broadly at him. She could lose herself in his eyes every time. "So in America, I've been around a little longer. I've been staying with my aunt and uncle. Ian and I have been spending a lot of time, he and his friends have been taking me to the beach every day and brushing up on my surfing skills a bit." Haley beamed brightly as she recounted her time here and with Ian. "I'm glad to hear that the worry of a boring trip has passed." She continued to giggle and slowly a very slight blush was visible on her face as she was still hanging upside down. "Yeah, this is going to be the best summer." She agreed with a grin and her green eyes lit up.

At that moment, more surf participants came into the tent. "Hey Guys, I guess we're tent mates then." Were the two greeted. "It's our honor, may the fastest get the best seats." At Haley's words, the others exchanged brief glances before running to the beds, tossing their bags from afar to reserve the best bed. Haley laughed out loud at the spectacle and after a few minutes everyone had spread out. "Louis and the others are waiting for us on the beach in five minutes." The others left the tent and the both Lovebirds stayed behind.

Haley was still hanging upside down, but now did a skillful roll and landed on her two feet in front of Ronnie. She looked up into his eyes. "Dark hair again, then?" she remarked with a grin, running her fingers through his hair. "We should get ready." She added, but stopped there and continued looking into his eyes, at his perfect nose and full lips. Each time anew she was mesmerized by his beauty. Gently placing her hand on his jaw, she stood on tiptoe and placed a kiss on his lips, soft at first, before leaning in a little more.

"HALEY! TRAINING BEGINS!" Haley turned around in horror, redness written all over her face, and her shocked look quickly turned to annoyance. Her eyes turned to evil slits and she glared at Ian, who stood smiling broadly. "Screw off Ian!" she cursed at him. "Ah, ah, not so cocky dear." Admonishingly, he raised a finger, but before he could say anything further, she threw a ball lying beside the bed pointedly toward his head. He intercepted it and shook his head. "Nice try, on the beach in two minutes." Ian now looked at Ronnie, but said nothing more. Haley knew there hadn't been a chance to introduce the two yet, and she knew Ian could be very protective when it came to Haley and boys. Plus, she didn't know if Ronnie even knew that Ian was her cousin.

But she wasn't worried about that right now. She rummaged in her bag, took off her T-shirt and grabbed a towel. She was now wearing athletic shorts and bikini top. At the tent exit, she waited for Ronnie and extended her hand to him. She led him to the beach, where several surfboards already lay counted on the ground.

"As already announced we start with some basic exercises to get warm and see how your stance is." Louis explained everything else and Ian, Liz and Ashley split up among the course participants to help them and improve their executions. They practiced paddling on the board in dry runs, jumping up into the surf position on command and general facts about the surfboard, getting off correctly, foot positions and everything that went with it.

By noon time had passed quickly and the large group was divided into two, a beginner and an advanced group. Later, once they were on the water, the groups would split up further if necessary. But now it was time to have lunch together. The long table was full of fruit, yogurt and small appetizers, the perfect food for a warm summer day. During the meal there was a chance to get to know everyone a little better and they all talked, laughed and had a good time.

After lunch, there was some time to digest before finally hitting the water. With their boards under their arms, they all walked to the beach. "I can't wait!" Joyfully, Haley moved across the warm sand beneath her feet and the group split into the two groups, heading into the water with the boards. They all sat in a large semicircle on their boards in the water. In the middle Louis and Ian, Liz and Ashley took care of the other group. They explained the rest of the process and gave some instructions on how the rest of the training would go.

The two lovebirds was the first participants that occupied the room. Seeing the empty room, Ronnie used the opportunity to catch up with his girlfriend. The boy had asked his princess when she arrived at the land of Uncle Sam. While Ronnie fluffed up the pillow and kicked his duffle bag a bit under the bed, a mop of red hair hanging upside down from the bed above him.

Ronnie then sat down on his part of the bunkbed and replied to Haley's grin. His girlfriend's grin is contagious and it makes Ronnie want to kiss the hell out of her. Every day Ronnie wondered how he got so lucky to have Haley as his girlfriend. His princess then explained to him how long she had stayed in the USA and with whom she was lodging.

But when the name of 'Ian' comes out from Haley's lips, Ronnie frowns. He never heard the guy's name before and there was a tinge of jealousy in him. But the Brazillian boy nodded and smiled while listening to his girlfriend's ramble. As the two catch up, more surf campers come into the tent.

Haley said something that the Duellist did not understand but it seemed the new arrivals understood what she was saying as one raced against the other to claim the best spot of the beds. Seeing the little commotion the Castelobruxo's student let out a chuckle. "You are evil, my love,"The boy said in Portuguese while looking at Haley lovingly.

Then there was a small announcement sounding in the tent saying that their head camp counselor waiting for all of them on the beach in 5 short minutes. The second youngest of the Ramírez clan nodded his head. Ronnie bent down a bit to drag his bag out from under the bed that he shoved earlier.

By this point, his girlfriend already stands in front of him. Once Ronnie had found his surf shorts, he looked up to his girlfriend. Haley then commented about his hair that returned to his roots which is dark brown. Ronnie then runs his hand from the top of his head and rests at the back of his neck.

"Yeah,"He breathed out. "Blonde was not my color. Besides, both my dad and Venice said I looked like a punk with that hair"Ronnie explained. Haley then instructed them to get ready. The boy then makes a quick change. Once his casual outfit was discarded, Ronnie put on his surf shorts. His six-packs and a sliver part of his v-shaped waist were on display for everyone to see.

He was about to walk out of the tent but it seemed Haley was unmoving. "Everything alright, love?"He inquired since Haley just stood there in front of him. Slowly, his girlfriend put her hand on his jaw gingerly. Then she stood in her stood on tiptoe. Ronnie could feel Haley's soft lips against his sometimes chapped one.

Before Ronnie could deepen the kiss, a voice belonging to a guy interrupted the lovebird moment. "Damn it!"The boy cursed under his breath. He dislikes the guy's bad timing. It seems Haley knew the guy and they had a close relationship seeing how comfortable Haley throwing things at him.

Watching the scene unfold in front of him, Ronnie wondered if this guy was another Haley's ex-lover whom the Castelobruxo student did not know about. Pushing and shaking his brewing jealousy aside, he let his girlfriend lead him toward the meeting point.

Once the pair arrived at the beach, several surfboards already lay counted on the ground. Louis told the group what today's activities would entail. Before the large group could jump into the water, they had a brief training about balancing and their stance. At first, they will do it on the dry sand.

Since Ronnie could do it without any trouble, he has done what needed to be done in record time. The others, not so much. Some of them still trying to find their balance and footing. One of the girls that Ronnie had met earlier asked him to come over and help her with her dry runs.

Ronnie had explained and demonstrated how to do it but when it was Cherine;'s turn, the girl got up a tad bit faster than she should and as a result, she lost her footing, Before the girl could even hit the sand ground, with a lightning speed of a reflex Ronnie caught the girl.

"Woah, there!"Ronnie exclaimed. He did not realize that he put both of his hands on the girl's waist to keep her balance. Once he realized it, Ronnie quickly removed his hand hoping Haley did not misunderstand the situation. "Thank you, Verona!"The girl said with an unmistakable flirty smile and tone.

Ronnie nodded his head courtly before returning to his surfboard. Once the meal and small talk were over and the food had been digested, it was time to hit the water. The large group was split into two. Whilst Louis, Ian, Liz, and Ashley explained the rest of the process and gave some instructions on how the rest of the training would go, Ronnie let out a yawn.

He still could feel the exhaustion from the long trip that both she and his sister embarked on. "Are we bored you out, pretty boy?"One of them asked sarcastically. Covering his open mouth as another wave of yawn hit him, Ronnie shook his head. He did not mean to disrespect the instructors but Ronnie could feel one of them was targeting him.

"No, no. I am just tired from the trip I had to take to get here,"Ronnie tried to explain as his thick English-Portuguese accent seeped through. But it seems one of the instructors took that as a challenge. "If we bored you out that much, why don't you show us how it dome, then?"Said one of them.

Ronnie sighed since he knew there was no use putting up a fight with them. The Brazillian boy nodded his head. Laying down his whole body against the surfboard, Ronnie paddled a bit further from the large semi-circle. Ronnie straddled his board while waiting for the perfect wave to ride on.

Ronnie waited a bit as he alosngside the surfboard that he astride bobbed in the calm water before the wave came in. When a wave rose, Ronnie paddled a little bit then he jumped into the surf standing position on command. While riding the wave, Ronnie swerved left and right like a pro.

The Duellist had ben on and off into the sea and wave as long as he could remembered thanks to his oldest sister who had taught him in the first place. Though Ronnie knew he was a little advance from the rest of his peers, he needed to make himself not show off too much.

And so, Ronnie decided to deliberately crash himself into the water. The Brazillian boy knew that if he showed off too much the hazing would not stop there and he did not want his summer ruined before it could even begin.

@Cassandra Ironwoods as Ronnie
The dry exercises on the beach were easy for most of them and soon almost everyone was in a good groove and Louis noticed this too, nodding here and there with satisfaction. "I can see you're mostly an experienced group." Here and there he pulled back with the other trainers and conferred and Haley noticed Ian watching her and winking at her. She knew he had set something in motion, just not yet what. But before she could think more about it, she heard a too polite "Thank you, Verona!" Haley squinted over out of the corner of her eye and saw a girl who had obviously been held by the waist by Ronnie only seconds before. Her eyes formed into slits before she refocused on the workout and shook it off. Haley was not a jealous person. She trusted Ronnie but it hadn't escaped her notice that the girl was obviously flirting with him. She couldn't blame him but Haley probably needed to show again that Ronnie wasn't available for any flirting.

Time flew by and soon the group was in the water and Haley could hardly wait. Before the groups were split up, there were more instructions from Ashley as Ronnie yawned. Haley rolled her eyes as Ashley insinuated that he was bored. Before Haley could make a snippy comment, however, she noticed Ian's admonishing look and she swallowed it with another eye roll. But Haley didn't have to watch Ronnie's back, he could do that all by himself. And after he had to show Ashley what he could do, Haley had to smile. She knew he had what it took. He had grown up by the sea and knew how to surf, and he knew how to show it. So while Ronnie surfed the wave like a master and Haley was obviously admiring him, she grinned crookedly at Ashley and raised an eyebrow. Her look said, "Well, there you have it." Without saying a word. But her gaze quickly returned to her boyfriend, standing securely on the board and simply beautiful to look at. She would never be able to get enough of him and lost herself in the sight of him every time.

After Ronnie crashed into the water, and it was probably clear to everyone that this was planned, Ashley said nothing more and went ahead. And then what Ian had planned dissolved. The group was split down the middle, but unfortunately Ronnie was at the other end of the circle due to his surf show, so they weren't in the same group. Ian and Ashley took over Haley's group while Liz and Louis took care of the second group. The next few hours were spent training on the water. The first waves were climbed and the trainers adapted the training accordingly depending on the person. While Haley was waiting, Ian paddled up to her on his board. "Well, I guess your boyfriend doesn't really need a surf camp." He teased her and grinned. "I guess you're right." Haley agreed with a laugh. "Ashley can really take being countered, though. I like him. So far." Haley couldn't help but laugh. "Will any of my boyfriends ever have it easy?" Now Ian laughed too, "After your last one? Never." Of course Ian knew all about the past relationship. He knew all about Haley, after all, he was like a big brother to her. "But I can see that you're happy. And if you're happy, then I'm happy. "Haley, Your turn!" Ashley yelled annoyed and Haley padded over to her before turning back to Ian. "Love you Ian."

All that surfing was exhausting, but at the same time the time flew by. And soon everyone was back on the beach, the surfboards were cleaned up and stowed away again. "I hope you had fun on your first day. Over the next few days, we'll divide up the new group according to your ability and then we'll continue with the training. You now have time to shower and do whatever else you want until we have dinner together later." Louis said goodbye with these words and the others buzzed off to the tents and showers. Haley jogged over to Ronnie and wrapped one arm around his torso. "I watched you surfing, you cut a fine figure." She winked at him and walked with him to their tent. "I really need a shower now, how about you?" Haley grabbed a small bag of towel and shower stuff before heading to the shower facilities and rinsing the salt water out of her hair and off her body.

That evening there was a big barbecue with everyone and the crew prepared a cozy campfire. They all sat in a circle on the beach around the fire, chatting, getting to know each other and laughing. They played a few games to get to know each other and the sun slowly set on the horizon. "All that's missing now is the guitar." Joked one of the boys, his name was Nick and he was from the neighborhood. "Nothing easier than that" laughed Liz and jogged off. She came back with a guitar and held it up in the air. "I've got the remedy, but I can't play." The group laughed and Ian took the guitar from her. "Well, it's a bit too clichéd for me, but I know someone." He looked at Haley with a raised eyebrow. "Oh C'mon Ian." Haley rolled her eyes. "I just started playing guitar." Ian held the guitar out to her and she hesitated for a moment. "Oh come on Haley, your skills will be enough for surf camp romance." Nick called to her from the other side of the campfire. Haley shook her head with a laugh. "I'm not taking any complaints!" She released her hand from Ronnie's, which she had been holding the whole time, and picked up the guitar. "I don't take music requests either, because I'm not good enough for that."

Haley straightened the guitar and played a few notes. She could hardly play any songs, but she had been practicing one in particular lately because it was one of her father's favorites and she wanted to surprise him with it. "Well, let's try it." Haley said more to herself than to the others and looked briefly at Ronnie, who was sitting next to her, and smiled shyly. She remembered the last time she had sung in front of him at Christmas and smiled at the memory. She played the first few notes and began to surrender to the music. She closed her eyes for a moment, noticing the warm fire on her face, and began to sing. "There is a House in New Orleans." Haley continued to sing and play and at one point looked around the group. In a moment with just Melody of the guitar, she looked at the others with a big grin. "If you know the words, sing along!"

They all spent the rest of the evening laughing, most of them tried their hand at the guitar and Nick in particular put on an unforgettable performance. He couldn't play a bit of guitar, but put on a performance of Nothing Else Matters with such dedication that everyone laughed out loud and sang along with him. The evening wore on and at some point only the fire and the fairy lights lit up the beach. Louis had already said goodbye and announced breakfast for 9 o'clock, as he suspected that the group wouldn't be going to bed too early tonight.

"While we're on the subject of clichés, why don't we play spin the bottle to round off the evening?" Ashley suggested and Haley noticed her hopeful look towards Ian and Haley choked on her laughter. But it wasn't just that look that caught her eye. Miss Flirty's eyes also flashed in Ronnie's direction and Haley knew this was going to be an interesting situation. "If you insist Ash. But no kids version." Ian stood up and placed a bottle on a wooden board. "Let's get our surfing champion started today then, shall we Ash?" Ian winked at Ronnie and Ashley just glared at Ian.
