A freezing walk
Ariana walked along a gravel path around the grounds of Hogwarts. She had the idea to take a walk and clear her mind, along with a steaming cup of hot cocoa. Ariana didn't realize three things until she was halfway through her walk( and on the far side of the grounds). One, she was going to run out of cocoa, two, it was FrEeZiNg, and three it was getting dark. Ariana began to worry and turned around rushing back to the castle, until she tripped. Falling backwards in what seemed to be slow-motion, Ariana's hot cocoa flew out of her hands, and landed a few feet away from Ariana as she hit the ground. Groaning Ariana tried to sit up, and whimpered in pain. Holding her head, and feeling a sticky substance, Ariana gasped and quickly removed her hand to reveal a red fluid trickling down her hand. At the sight of the blood, Ariana realized how much pain she was in and came to the conclusion that she had hit her head on a rock. After getting up with a whole lot of effort, Ariana began to once again stumble towards the castle. This time though, she only managed to move a few feet before falling over.

A freezing walk
Sebastian wasn't really one for spending time outdoors if he could help it but he found that could make an exception at this time of year. There was a crisp chill in the air and he pulled the edges of his cloak closer to his body and let out a breath as he looked up at the sky which slowly started to darken around him.
After a few more minutes he checked the time and decided to start heading back towards the castle at a steady pace. If he started to head back now he'd be able to grab something to eat from the Great Hall before he went back to the common room. He went on at this pace for a while, giving the grounds a final look before he had to head in when he was startled by a sudden noise behind him. He quickly twisted around, reaching into his pocket to grab his wand, when he saw the girl who appeared to have just fallen back there.
"Hey are you okay over there? That looked like a pretty hard fall just now" He watched for a few seconds until the girl began to stumble and fell again. Yep it was a bad one, probably time to help her now. He made his way towards her and gave her a quick once over, noting the blood on the back of her head. Well that's wonderful, better make sure she doesn't have a concussion. He bent down and held an arm out toward her. Here, let me help you up. You need to get this checked out at the Hospital Wing."

Ariana hit her head again, and let out a sharp cry. " oh-oww" She sniffled, holding back tears. Ariana groaned in pain, and was going to sit up when a new voice was heard. Ariana looked up and noticed a boy her age walking over to her. " h-hey, and yeah i think i'm fine. " Ariana mumbled, pushing her self up and smiling weakly at the boy. " Th-thanks" She said, trying to flash her usually dazzling smile but instead it turned into a grimace when she reached for the boys extended hand.
After standing up with the help of the boy, she began to take another step forwards, and falling to her knees. Ariana yelped and swore under her breath. " bloody-" She began, but stopped herself from continuing. " You really don't have to help me. i'm seriously OK" Ariana said weakly, standing up. " i'm ariana by the way, in case your wondering. Ariana Jackson, first year hufflepuff" she smiled at the boy, " and you are?" Ariana asked him, brushing off the blood forming on her knees. Ariana took a deep breath and slowly placed her foot in front of her, taking a couple of shaky steps. Ariana smiled and turned around to look at the boy. " see i'm fi-" she was cut off, for she had tried to take another step and fell forward.

Sebastian carefully watched as the girl took his hand and shakily got to her feet. It was obvious she wasn't fine, despite he saying so, but at least she was able to speak clearly enough and seemed to understand the situation. He cautiously took a few steps back as the girl let go of his hand to give her some space to gain her bearings.
Only to watch her fall back onto her knees. Yeah you really don't need my help here do you? He gave a small snort of laughter as he heard her stop herself from swearing out loud."You've just fallen onto the ground three times and your head's bleeding, you're allowed to swear if nothing else, I'm a good Slytherin I won't tattle." "Oh and my name's Sebastian Boyd, first year, nice to meet you, Ariana. Hopefully, it'll be even nicer when you're inside and not bleeding out."
Looks like she was going to try to walk again. If nothing else she was doing a good job of demonstrating those Hufflepuff traits in that rhyme he'd read a few days ago. Those patients Hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil. He moved his gaze down to look at her feet as she took a few more steps freely, if she was going to insist on walking he could at least try to figure out whether her ankle was sprained or not.
She stumbled through a few more before he noticed Ariana begin to fall forward again. He reached out and pressed his hands on her shoulder to steady her. "Look I'm pretty sure you sprained your ankle. If you won't let me help you at least walk beside me until we get back to the castle. I'm not the strongest but I can steady you if you start to trip again. We both know you need that cut on your head checked out." He gestured towards the general direction of the castle. "Come on, if we get going now I can bring you some cake from the Great Hall while you're in the Hospital Wing."
Hopefully, some bribery would help get her moving.
