Ariana and her family walked onto platform 9 3/4. Ariana was jumping up and down enthusiastically. " go have fun, banphrionsa" Bellamy said to her. Ariana smiled and hugged him and Blake. She then hugged her mom and dad, before crouching down and giving the families dog, Rhody, a big hug. Ariana stumbled onto the train waving good bye to her father, mother and older brothers. " BYE, LOVE YOU! i'll make sure to send letters!" She called as the train started. She hurried to the back of the train, bumping into people and falling over once or twice. " empty compartment, empty compartment" she mumbled, searching for one. " Empty comp-oh!" Ariana pushed her way into a fairly large compartment. After placing her trunk on the rack above her, with much effort, Ariana sat down near the window and pulled out the little tables that are attached to the walls. she took out a sketchpad and charcoal, and began to sketch the Hogwarts insignia. After finishing the crest, she began to work on the animals inside of each smaller section. Starting with the badger, she focused on perfection. After finishing the badger, she got to work on the other animals.

Lallie and her family rushed onto Platform 9 3/4 not wanting to miss the train after getting there late. "Sorry I took so long to get ready!" Lallie's mom kept repeating the whole way there. She can never seem to forgive herself when she does something wrong. Finally, they got there and it was time to say goodbye. "Send me a letter everyday sweetie." Lallie's mom said as she hugged her. "Don't forget to get a O in Herbology, though it shouldn't be a problem for you kiddo." Lallie's dad said winking at her." Don't get lost in the Grand Staircase Lal-lal. my brother, Leo, said ruffling my hair. Lallie smiled, thinking I'm going to miss them so much. I hopped on to the train blowing kisses to my family before completely getting on. I walked through the train looking for an empty compartment to quietly read. I could only find full or mean-looking compartments so I just gave up and looked for a compartment that would let me in. I looked into a compartment with a girl quietly drawing. "Uh hi, mind if I sit here?" I asked awkwardly. She seemed friendly enough so I was hopeful she would let me sit here.

Ariana looked up at the voice, and smiled. " HI! of course you can sit here! I'm Ariana! Ariana Jackson, pure blood witch from Ireland. whats your name? want a jellybean? but be careful, you know what they say..... there really is every flavor of bean in there!" Ariana rambled. " Once I got soap flavor, it took me forever to get the taste out of my mouth!!! And my older brother, Bellamy, he said he got pepper flavor once!! I don't believe him but Blake, my other older brother, says he did to! They're twins, y'know, but Bellamy claims he was 3 minutes older! All they do is argue, duel, play quidditch and teach at the local school." Ariana said, completely forgetting about her drawing. " oh! am i talking too much? i feel like i'm talking too much. i'm talking too much aren't I? UGH, this always happens!! if i'm talking too much, just tell me to; 'shut up' or 'be quite' or 'calm down'. Please be honest, am i talking too much? I bet i am" Ariana said, growing nervous. " Seriously, if im being too loud, or annoying or if im talking too much, please tell me!"

Lallie laughs, immediately liking the aura of this girl. "You're fine. I like talkative people, after all I tend to ramble too. I'm Lallie Luna, I come from down in Manchester." She says sitting in the seat across from her. Lallie smiles knowing that this ride is going to be interesting. "So you have older brothers huh? I have one, his name is Leo. Super annoying. One time he put a bunch of dungbombs under my pillow. I couldn't get the smell out for weeks and kids at school would always call me 'Dung Girl'" she says recalling that period. Her friends felt bad, so they put dungbombs in their pockets so the smell would be unanimous among them. They ended up being called the "Dung Gang" and they started wearing that name like a crown that year, throwing dungbombs at anyone who made fun of them and messing with people by running around them with their horrid smell. She stopped herself and realized Ariana was still there. "Sorry Ariana! Along with my rambling I tend to get lost in thought. I'm pretty socially awkward and whenever I can't think of something to say I usually go into a little bubble." Lallie says blushing

" nah, it's fine. It happens to the best of us. I do it too sometimes, but i usually space out when i'm drawing." Ariana said smiling. " do you know what house your going to get? i'm most definitely a hufflepuff!" Ariana said as the train lurched to a start, jolting her stuff a bit. " uh oh" Ariana mumbled standing up to grab her stuff. " i can't wait for potions! it's my favorite subject. i think. my brothers hated it, but i love it. its weird. so, tell me about Leo, whats he like? how old is he?" Ariana asked smiling. " what year did he graduate? he might have known my brothers? unless he's still going her, of course." Ariana laughed, she glanced towards the door and realized it was sliding back and forth. " one sec, i'm going to close this" ariana said, standing up and moving towards the door. Suddenly, the train sped up causing her to fall over. Ariana hit her head on the compartment floor, and groaned in pain. " ugh" she whimpered, black spots dancing in her eyes. " h-hello?" she said, darkness and pain obscuring her vision. " where are you?" she asked, worried.

Lallie smiled as Ariana was talking. Suddenly, the train sped up and Lallie gripped to the table of the compartment. Lallie's eyes widened with shock as she saw Ariana fall to the floor. "Oh my god Ariana are you ok?" she asked full of concern. When she heard Ariana's whimpering in reply she rushed to the other side of the compartment. "Ariana? Ariana? Can you hear me? Are you ok?" Lallie said shaking her in a small little bursts. Lallie's mind raced on what to do. Should she wait here and console her? Should she get an older student? Try and find a nurse? Ok, ok Lallie calm down, now try to think rationally about this. Lallie thought to herself. Oh how she wish she wasn't alone in the compartment with Ariana then this situation would be a whole lot easier. She sighed and decided to what she was best. She heaved Arian off the compartment floor and laid Ariana down on her seat and grabbed her hand. "Ok Ariana. I'm going to stay with you for a minute more. If you want me to stay grab my hand or say something. If not I'm going to leave you her and get some help, or an icepack, or something, got it?" she said, a panicky tone in her voice.
