“Thanks” Andrea said really happy Holly liked her pranks. Andrea liked being praised by other, but who didn’t. It was a normal human thing to like. Knowing people like you or things you do was a great thing. Andrea stoped feeling nervous, but didn’t feel quite calm. It was a mix of scared, calm and happy all at the same time. Something Andrea had never felt before. She was scared Holly and her wouldn’t find the way to the great hall before night. Calm and happy because she was with Holly and she had some hope that they would find the way. She was allowed happy because she had met Holly. She was a really cool person and Andrea wanted to become friends with her.

Andrea smiled at Holly and started walking with her to the left. The long cold corridor was empty and there was no one around. This was hopefully the right way Andrea though to herself walking next to Holly. If they got more lost it would most likely be night by the time they came to the great hall, If they ever did. They both walked in a normal speed down the corridor. “Should we hurry up?” Andrea questioned Holly. She started to stress a little. She didn’t want to lose house points and be hated by almost all the hufflepuffs. Being late or being in the corridors at night was two reasons to lose points and Andrea and Holly was about to break both the rules without wanting too.

“That would be a good idea.” She picked up a bit of speed and moved faster through the corridor. Andrea seemed to her to come across as a great person, Holly wanted to have her as a friend. She feels comfortable with her, and she already anticipates how much fun she will have with Andrea. Maybe they could play a prank on her brother someday. Speaking of brother. Wasn't he once in that situation when he was in the first Year? Oh, Bloody Hell.

“I'm asking for safety. Can you cry on command?” she asked Andrea as she looked around, hoping to find the Great Hall, “If we get caught at night, we might be able to get out of the situation.”, this trick she learned from her brother, “After all, teachers are also human and have empathy.” She also found it reassuring to have an emergency plan ready. “If it works for my brother, it works for us.” Of course, she doesn't want to be late, but just in case…

“And if those eyes already work with my father, then they work with a teacher as well.”, playful she made a pouty face while shedding big crocodile tears with her way too cute puppy eyes. That was her secret power. Her father had a hard time there all his life, at least all her life. Or worse (mostly for him), her father's wallet.

And suddenly the cute look was gone and a devilish grin was there.
(Slytherin was definitely the right house for her.)

Confused Andrea answered Holly, “yes, I can.” Crying on command wasn’t that hard to do, Andrea though to herself. She knew she could do it, and it wouldn’t be a problem for her. “That’s genius.” She answered Holly. Holly was right, teachers also have empathy, or at least most of the teachers do. “Hopefully it works for us too.” she said hoping they could just peacefully find the great hall and go to sleep.

Holly seemed to have done this before. When she showed Andrea her fake tears Andrea was a little shocked. It was a lot better then what she could do. Andrea’s father had learned her how to cry on command. It was probably a weird thing to teach your child, but it is something you can find useful sometimes. That’s what her dad always told people when they asked him why he learned Andrea to do it. This was one of the first time’s Andrea could find it useful. I guess her father was right, it could be important to know how to cry on command.

she sighted and looked around. They where at the end of the corridor. A big stone staircase were in front of them and there were three ways to go. Up the stairs, to the left or to the right. The corridor to the right was dark and not so long. At the end of it was another staircase going downstairs. The corridor to the left was long and had a few doors. It looked a lot like the one they came from. “which way should we go now?” Andrea asked Holly hoping she could take the decision this time.

"I think we should take the right way" She pointed in the direction of the dark corridor, which had a staircase going down. "Don’t you blame me if we end up in Kosovo, okay?", She didn't trust her sense of direction at all, but it was fair that she chose the direction this time.

She set out again in search of their common goal. By the way… How far is it? How much longer? Just say that they actually land somewhere on the Ivory Coast?! My God, no, please just no. How is she supposed to explain that to her mother? Or a teacher? And how would she get her brother not to tease her about it? That would be an impossible task. After all, she ceases not to annoy her brother in life and afterward.

God, she is tired. Tired and hungry. Especially hungry. That wasn't good. Why not? Well, she's starting to think about eating. She imagined herself sitting at the table in the Great Hall and in front of her a juicy roast beef, no wait better roast chicken, or rather lamb chop? No chicken is good! Chicken wings? PERFECT! With roast potatoes, no better Chips. And apple pie for dessert. Her mouth was watering and almost drooled.

Suddenly, her stomach made itself noticeable. It growled and it brought her back to reality. How embarrassing... She blushed a little and muttered, "I’m hungry..."

Andrea quietly laughed to herself. “I won’t.” she answered Holly. The two girl started walking to the right towards the stairs. It was dark and hard to see where you were walking. Andrea continued walking next to Holly just like she just did in the other corridor. She didn’t have any idea neither how much longer this was going to take, finding the great hall. It could be hours, minutes or seconds, she had no idea. Maybe they got more lost and suddenly found themselves in an abandoned corridor. Then it could take days! Everything could happen at Hogwarts, and there was a big chance they got more lost.

They finally made their way to the stairs. Andrea walked down slowly so she didn’t fall. When they came to the bottom of the stairs they came to a room with big brown oak doors. They looked the same as all of the other big brown oak doors at Hogwarts. There was more stairs going down and a big window on the others side of the room. It was dark at the bottom of the stairs (where they were standing) with orange yellow light filling the rest of the room.

“Same.” Andrea answer Holly. It was late and there was probably not any food in the great hall anymore. Andrea didn’t know what to do about being hungry so she had just tried to ignore it. She didn’t have any food with her and it didn’t seem like Holly had any neither. “I don’t think there’s anywhere else then in the great hall we can get food.” she sighed. “And everyone else is probably done eating by now.” she looked at Holly too see if she agreed. “Don’t you think?” she said not sure if she was right or not.

Her daydreams of food were now *POOF* gone. They were just too good to be true. But negative thinking had never really gotten her far. She laughed too much for that. So now to switch to melancholy was out of the question.

What would her mother say? Well... Most likely something like, “Don't make a eejit av yerself, an' don’t make de family's reputashun worse than it already is!” (Irish-English-translation: "Don’t make a fool out of yourself, and don’t make the family’s reputation worse than it already is."), but in this context... She'd probably just tell her where the great hall was... But if she played along, she'd say, "Make me proud."

With new courage, she looked at Andrea who was next to her. “Oi! Don't worry, we'll have dinner until eight pm”, she said optimistically, “and if we're late, God is my witness, my brother had better put a dish aside”, there's her hangry speaking, “or he won't survive the evening.” yes she is hangry, «Also in that scenario, I will share with you.”

They walked for a while until she stopped abruptly. "On the other hand, you can fill your own plate with what it has left." that sounded rude now, but she grinned while her gaze was not on Andrea but where her finger pointed.

That Finger pointed to the side through an open door that led to the great hall. There was still food!
