Confusion at the Owlery
Celeste had now been at Hogwarts for 5 whole days. Those 5 days felt more like 5 months, because everything she saw was new, and interesting, and magical. She had already written the letter the night before, and was heading to the owlery to send it. Another first!
As she climbed the staircase leading to the tower, she felt a cool autumn breeze in her hair. She could hear the hooting of owls and the flutter of wings. She looked around at the many owls, and suddenly realized, she had no idea how to send a message by owl at Hogwarts!
Does she grab a random owl and tie the letter to it's leg? Does she have to sign a form or ask a friend if she could borrow their owl? What owls have owners and which ones are school owls?
She looked down at her letter. So far, she had only thought about all the good things that came with staying at Hogwarts school. But she was lonely. She needed someone she could talk to, relate to, and taught with. She needed a friend.
As she stood there, amidst all the birds, she felt lost. Surrounded by birds, and yet all alone.

Confusion at the Owlery
Anastacia was heading up the spiral stairs to get to the owlerly. She finally reached the top and stopped for a few seconds, haunched over with her hands on her knees as she tried catching her breath.
"They made this tower so tall," she said panting. "At least I did not step on anything unwanted this time." She finally felt better and straightened up, walking inside the owlery. She smiled as she saw all of the owls there. Anastacia liked to go there because it was nice and quiet with the occasional chirping of the owls here and there. She looked around before noticing a girl there who looked confused. Anastacia wasn't sure if she should approach her but ultimately decided to.
"Hey, um... do you need help sending that?" she asked. "You can pretty much borrow any owl as long as they want to actually send it. You just talk to them and let them know you want to send a letter and one of them will come down. It looks like you came at a good time because they all seem pretty awake. Trust me, when they're sleepy they will ignore you for the most part," she said with a small chuckle.
