It was finally Friday and Madison was super excited! She had woken up with a smile in her step, because something about today felt like it was going to be an interesting day, but interesting in a good way.
As she was walking towards the third floor to go to charms class, she stopped in the second floor corridors and saw her brother James, only he wasn't alone with his nose in a book. He was talking to a girl, and the girl was real. She had a Hufflepuff tie on and was very pretty, Madison knew who she was because she'd seen her around the Hufflepuff common room before, her name was Elaine, but Madison couldn't remember what her last name was.
As she watched her brother talk with Elaine, he had his charming smile plastered all over his face, his brown eyes filled with a mixture of love and charm, and Madison smiled to herself. She'd never seen her brother this happy, he always seemed to be in the library, but this time he wasn't rushing towards the library at all, he was just standing in the corridor, talking to Elaine. He even told his mates that he'd see them in the library later, and Madison was shocked. The library was her brothers comfort space, but he wasn't going there straight after class like she always saw him do.
As Madison watched, she saw another girl also wearing a Hufflepuff tie approach near where she was standing. Although they were wearing the same house tie and Madison had seen her around the school, they hadn't spoken to each other before, but that was about to change. She noticed that the girl and Elaine looked similar and that she was now also looking intriguingly at her brother James and Elaine talking with each other, smiling and laughing. She smiled at the girl and introduced herself in a low voice, so that her brother didn't know she was spying on him. "Hey, I'm Madison Bennett, it's nice to meet you. Is my brother talking to your sister?" she asked her, though she knew the answer was most likely yes, she also wanted to get the girls name too. "Well, in that case, shall we give them a little nudge? I think that will do the trick, don't you?" she suggested with a light giggle and smile

Scarlett had just come up a stairway when she saw her sister, Elaine, talking to a boy. Scarlett took a double take. Elaine never mentioned any boys when they talked about their daily gossip...
Just then, a beautiful young girl approached her. "Hey, I'm Madison Bennett, it's nice to meet you. Is my brother talking to your sister?"
Scarlett stared at the other Hufflepuff's hair, it looked fantastic! Scarlett looked at her own curly locks of hair which was just in a half up half down hairstyle at the moment. She figured she'd been keeping quiet for a while so she decided to answer her. "Nice to meet you.." She said trailing off.
Madison's brother was quite handsome, with beautiful brown hair and piercing eyes. He was pretty tall too. Her eyes focused on Madison. For some reason, Madison made Scarlett feel comfortable like she wouldn't judge her. She'd never met anyone like that before.
"My name is Scarlett. Scarlett Noel. And yeah...That's my sister Elaine, or you can call her Lani, I always do." She looked over to her sister again. "And that's your brother? He seems really nice, I wonder why Elaine hasn't told me about him..."
Madison continued talking, "Well, in that case, shall we give them a little nudge? I think that will do the trick, don't you?"
Scarlett smiled at that and nodded, "you think they like each other?" When she saw Madison's eager smile, she knew that Madison wanted to create some drama. "Let's do it."

Madison smiled back at Scarlett and giggled, "yeah he is, an absolute charmer though but he's very caring and kind" she says, still watching her brother and Scarlett's sister talk with each other. Madison looked at Scarlett and nodded, "oh definitely, my brother wouldn't be talking to her for this long if he didn't like her. This is the first time i've seen him have a proper crush on someone, he just needs a little help, and that's where we come in" Madison says with a cheeky smile on her face.
As Madison watched her brother and Elaine part from each other, but not before James kissed Elaine's cheek, something he's only done to his mother to say goodnight before, Madison turns to Scarlett as they move to the side of the main corridor passageway. "Ok so, my brother spends a lot of time in the library and I'm thinking, if we slip your sister a note telling her that a secret admirer is waiting for her in the library, then, she'll sit at the table James always sits at. Since no one else sits there apart from him, they'll start talking and..." Madison turns to Scarlett, seeing if they're on the same wavelength.
Madison's idea was simple, if her brother James and Scarlett's sister Elaine are already chatting, being in the library and bonding over books or something would bring them closer together and, in turn, would lead them to start dating. "I'm heading to Charms class, if you're heading that way too, maybe we can walk and talk about how we're going to make this plan work, because my brother has only ever smiled the way he did to your sister, towards me and when he gets an O in his homework, which is all the time" Madison says with a giggle.
Her brother James was 'the full deal' as her dad would often put it. He was tall, brown hair and beautiful eyes. He was charming, stupidly smart, funny and an absolute gentleman. Now, Madison and Scarlett just had to make sure that their plan would work
