From Dusk to Dawn PV Closed

Alexx hummed at Aurelia's comment. "Actually I... I don't know the place as well as you might think. I haven't been here in ages. It is true, I know a bit of the layout, but not every hiding spot." She reminded them, nodding as she did. Her eyes still scanned the room in amazement. How long it had been! And furthermore, how exciting this was! Though the game could be considered a child's, it would be fun! "Regardless, yes. Aurelia is more or less correct. It is just as it sounds it would be." But she pondered on what Emma said as well, thinking how it would also be true.

"Well," she finally announced after her brief session of pondering their options. "perhaps being lost will add to the fun." No one knew where they were at, which would make everyone's job harder as a result. Wouldn't that be quite the trick? Alexx saw nothing but amusement in this game. She would rather enjoy playing this, the more she thought about it! "Is it settled then? All those in favor...?" She eagerly awaited her response, a girlish smile playing at the corners of her lips.

It was always more exciting to do these things with friends, and she was at the edge of her seat as she learned this. Though, she feared tension and wanted desperately to play the perfect host. Everyone's spirits were meant to be kept up, but how? She could only thank Emma and Celynne for bringing up this opportunity, as it relieved her from the stress of having to do it herself. Perhaps that made her more of a bad host, but no one was complaining yet, so she couldn't be mad about it.

Her mind began to ponder the rules of the game. In order to keep those involved entertained, wait if she were to raise the stakes with every round? Add on more rooms, or perhaps even the outdoors if they wished? Perhaps you had to retrieve an object, or it was your job to bring back facts about the manor? Of course, it was all stored for a later round, as they were only just beginning. For now, she would keep it simple, and wait for the opportunity to suggest this, or perhaps for someone else to suggest it.

"If it helps, I will allow you to team up so that you don't get lost on your own." This was her first offering. She wouldn't say that it wasn't traditional, as she had seen the game be played this way before. It would leave one without a partner, however... That would call for either a team of three or for someone to seek the lot out with her. Both would be compromises she would be willing to adhere to. "Two minds are better than one, after all."

It didn't seem like much work now that she was in the swing of things. This was the opportunity that she decided to take, and there was no going back. If they were to grow tired of the game, she would devise a backup plan. She was sure the attic had something in store that could entertain the group of girls... With that passing thought, she became immensely grateful for the housekeeper who kept out rodents and insects, despite that she clearly lacked on the dusting part. Alexx made a mental note to remind her mother and father to tell the housekeeper to up her game, it made her guests sneeze! How rude and embarrassing that was. She felt bad for the brief moments that everyone had to witness that. Though she wasn't much to care about her image, she hoped that no one thought less of her because she was unprepared in the cleaning department. Still, she decided that the unknown factors of the house could be blown off as part of the element of surprise. Not one of them went into this knowing what to suspect, and they all knew that beforehand (at least, she assumed that was the case).

She inhaled, prepared to speak again. "Though, if we pair up, there will either be a group of three, or someone can help me with seeking. I will allow you all to take your pick." It only seemed fair to let them decide, as she didn't want to pick for them and end up putting two who despised one another together... Though, she already knew she was going to keep Emma and Aurelia on good terms tonight, at least as best as she could control it. She wasn't aware of where the two stood on terms of friendship after last year, but she wasn't planning on figuring that out at the moment. Those things were better saved for a later date. This was not the time nor the place.
